On our farm we grow veggies and flowers. We raise Nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, and honey bees.
You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too.
Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek.
There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments.

We have a private, single site located on the banks of the McKenzie River in Rainbow, Oregon. The campsite is near our home, but feels private. The access driveway and site size make it best for camper vans and smaller RV’s. Long trailers, large RV’s and tent camping are not permitted at this time. The site has 50/30 amp and 120 volt outlets, as well as water and Wi-Fi. We have a porta-potty on site Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The property has many areas to set your camp chair or hang your hammock, and lots of short paths to explore. Recreation opportunities abound around here: hiking, biking, fishing, hot springs, cold springs, waterfalls, lava beds, whitewater boating on the river, and flat water paddling on the reservoirs. There are also four restaurants, a food cart, golf course and a general store nearby.

Our 5.6 acre hobby farm is located on the bank of the Santiam River with 200 feet of riverfront. It is located between the towns of Lebanon and Sweet Home off Hwy 20. It's fun to drop into the river 3 miles upriver near Sweet Home and kayak right up to our beach! One mile from I-5, you may pitch your tent or park your van in a meadow near some fir trees bordering Elk Creek. Feel the restful flow of water bringing tranquility. Follow hiking trails along the creek, through groves of trees, or play in the singing creek. There is another hiking trail to another portion of the creek to the right of the road that passes by the barn. A sign on an oak tree indicates the edge of the large mowed meadow that will take you to another sign for the trail to the creek.
When entering the property at the county road, you’ll see a big Century Farm sign on the left at the driveway entrance.
Continue past a brown machine shed. You will see two apple trees on your left. Just beyond the apple trees is a sign, on a big fir tree. This sign points to the direction of the campsite. Shaped like an arrow it points to the mowed path down to the creek and campsite which you may drive.
Uphill from the campsite is a trail going through a small copse of trees that leads up to the red barn. On the left, at the entrance to the barn, is a bathroom complete with sink and shower. Towels are not provided.
Beneath the apple trees is a faucet with potable drink safety hose and a bucket for your use.

Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

What a magical spot! Stayed in a car tent setup and it was perfect for me as a solo female camper, the hosts are so very kind and I appreciated having folks nearby but also felt totally private. The river is amazing to sleep to and there is a lovely grassy area to hang out / dip as well as a secret hammock nook :) As another note, my anxious dog was able to enjoy this campsite without triggers or distractions and I appreciate that so much! We will be back many times next summer and highly recommend, especially for solo campers or couples or if you have a dog who needs a bit of private space!

Highly recommend this clean, well maintained camping spot. With only 3 sites it is peaceful and quiet. Owner is friendly and brought us flowers and fruit. Perfect spot to explore Elkton and the coast. Large sites and lots of shade. Beautiful creek a few steps away with wildlife.

What a beautiful, magical little spot to spend some time. It's right by the river so you see rafters going by every once in a while. Fell asleep to the sounds of the river and forest. It was very relaxing. There's a cute restaurant about a mile away but it's a pleasant enough walk. Definitely recommended!

Lovely little secluded spot with creek access and a very nice bathroom. It was easy to get to, easy to park, within cell service, and our reactive dog was able to relax without a lot of other campers around. We also took the opportunity to learn about the land and the Applegate ancestors while we were there - it's an important part of Oregon and Kalapuya history!

Beautiful property right on Paradise Creek! Easy to navigate with my 17’ travel trailer. Would highly recommend. We saw a black bear walk up the creek-wonderful wildlife, birds and minnows fluttering in the creek. Just follow the directions and it is easy to find!

Susan's spot is a great spot to stay! Especially for the price!! I camped here with my adventure cat Cleo.
The entire campground has a shade which is wonderful during the heat of the day.
There was level ground for me to park my SUV (I car camping), and she also provides a really cute green picnic bench!
Having a full shower was such a luxury, and basically having the creek to myself was so nice and waking up to the sound of the creek was so relaxing and peaceful. Surprisingly enough I didn't have any problems with bugs even though I was right by the creek and it's summer!
If you look up the history of the farm it's really cool to know that you're staying on a place that has been in her family winde the 1800s!
Susan was prompt in her responses and I appreciates her hospitality!
I would definitely recommend staying here and will probably come back myself!

We had a lot of fun camping on the Applegate farm with Susan. The campsite was nice, it was nestled among some trees above the creek. Our little guy enjoyed the water of farm equipment and wildlife. I think our favorite part might have been sitting under the billion stars that were out for us to see!! Thank you for having us, sorry our trip was cut short. We will definitely come back!!

Our stay at Jeremy and Dana’s place was outstanding! The yurt was super cute and clean, very comfortable bed, and nice deck. The property, the views, and the peacefulness were even better! We walked to the river, enjoyed the sound of the creek behind the yurt, had fires in the fire pit and absolutely loved our stay. Will definitely be back!

What a perfect place to enjoy a beautiful grassy meadow and small stream. We had a camp fire and enjoyed a long walk along the Alsea River in the moring. We loved the goats and bought some damn good garlic. We will be back!
