The hosts are lovely people and the property is pretty. I believe the description could be improved by letting guests know how steep the road is coming in, hence the reason for 4 wheel drive. A picnic table at the site would have helped give us a better experience. Unfortunately, it had not been mowed, which made for pretty wildflowers, but it was hard to see where to park when first coming in. Once you're there, there's nowhere really to hike. The pond was very low and the stream was non-existent during this dry season, something that could have been noted in the description.. Their livestock guard dog came down several times to bark at us, which was uncomfortable. Again, lovely people, good communication, but I will not stay again.

Location was very peaceful, the drive up to the site was lovely and we could see all of Springdale.

We were just there for a spot to sleep. But it was great. Very quiet. There was a pond, my 5 year old was stoked to see salamanders. It was easy to get to.

This was a great spot with great hosts! Just far enough outside of the city to relax and still close enough that you can hop into town for dinner.

The location was clean - well kept, quiet, surrounded by trees and isolated … exactly what I wanted. The host was very pleasant and responsive. I would stay there again in warmer, dryer weather.
I chose to leave early due to the dampness of the area and steep gravel road wasn’t appealing to me in rain. It was also closed in by the trees which, in hot weather, the shade would be an asset.
There is plenty of room for multi-family occasions or single travelers like myself.

Nice open space up in the trees on Meggan‘s property. We were happy to spend two nights there and would’ve spent more close to Eugene and Mc Kenzie River. Private space

Great place to spend the night! Felt very private and beautiful views as you drive up. The campsite is surrounded by trees and has a picnic table and fire pit. No issues during our stay!

Loved the privacy & quiet, what a great hideaway! We will definitely be back!! The directions are quirky to get to the road no matter what gps you use but we got there just fine. 4WD should be considered when towing!! Wish we owned a spot up there!

Really cute spot with lots of greenery. I stayed here for two days with my dogs to avoid fireworks over July 4th weekend. Very quiet spot - and the resident dogs even came by to say hi :-)

In the holiday season when finding peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings is a challenge, this campsite was a true gem! The site was tidy, clean and private and level for our camping trailer, with minimal adjustments necessary. Directions were spot on and the google pin was accurate. We ended up spending to additional nights and our host, Megan, was very helpful and accommodating. If a private, secluded and quiet forest camping experience is what you're after, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended.

The spot was absolutely beautiful and offered wonderful solitude and serenity. The owners totally respected our privacy and answered any inquiries we had with immediacy. Overall a great experience for us and excited for checking back in in the future.

Springfield farm RV site
Very quiet and peaceful spot on a high hilltop. 50 amp power, water and sewer with a new gravel pad. We were pulling a large 40 foot 5th wheel and made it up the road with no issues. However it is a steep and narrow road with gravel for the last half mile or so. Lots of stars, deer and turkeys. We will be back!

The site is 100% secluded with privacy just beyond the "meditation pond" on the property. No one is able to drive by for added quiet. I came with a 170 extended Sprinter and was able to turn around so I didn't have to back out of the spot. The top of my van did brush some tree branches on the way in to the spot, but no damage done. There is an address # but the driveway isn't marked with "turn here" for "Hipcamp Site" so go slow getting to the spot or you could get into an area up there that is difficult to turn a camper around. The only noise I heard during my stay were the crickets and peepers at night. Very peaceful! I came to the area to pick blackberries at the State Parks near Pleasant Hill and it was a great trip. I'd stay here again!

This is a nice setup in great location up in the hills above Springfield and the Willamette and McKenzie Rivers. Very quite, nice wildlife. Would love to be able to camp up by the meditation pond.

Pros: nice new gravel driveway, lots of trees, a few flat spots for tents, TONS of birds, circular driveway for ease of access, quiet and out of the way of main roads. Felt safe in this private driveway. Brand new picnic table was cute.
Cons: Coordinating Airbnb stays with Hipcampers means traffic going in and out of the location someone is renting, at any time of day. In the future, I hope this is resolved so that Hipcampers arent woken up or disturbed by every vehicle going in and out.
