This is a great neighborhood spot to park with full amenities just outside of Portland, while having immediate access to 40 wooded acres with walking path and .7 mi to the Springwater Trail for biking/running. 25 mins to downtown Portland; Easy day trips that are ~30 minutes drive to Waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge (Bridal Veil, Multnomah Falls) or under an hour to Mt. Hood for time in the snow!
Fenced in backyard for any of your 4-legged friends to stretch. Gas fire pit, gas grill and patio table + lounge chairs are all open for sharing. Our previous homeowner had a trailer and set up this nice pad with built in hookups. We have grandparents with a 27' RV that come visit a few weekends a year, but we would love to share this corner of the woods with others looking for an accessible home base to access Portland/Mt. We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome!
We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them.
Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer.
We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots.
We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of.
During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like.
Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers**

We loved our stay. It was so peaceful, with a beautiful field next door with a couple friendly cows. It nice to take our dog on a walk down the country road. The directions they provided made it a breeze to back in to the spot. We enjoyed the sitting area next to the RV space and the eggs they left for us when we arrived. Our hosts were very welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.

Toller Stellplatz in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr (wenn man einen Spaziergang von 15-20 Minuten zur Bushaltestelle nicht scheut).
Zum Glück lag ein Adapter (50 Amp) für den Stromanschluss bereit (seitens CanaDream wurde nur ein Adapter für 20 Amp bereit gestellt).

Beautiful property with a view! Site has everything you need and well maintained. Crystal and her husband were very attentive and gave the best recommendations for food in the area. There dog was adorable as well.
