The Sculptdecor Studio, run by my partner and master sculptor Dustin Weatherby, is on the 58-acres closest to the Art Lodge located at the bottom of the driveway. Dustin specializes in animatronics, steel sculptures, wood carvings, mixed media sculptures, and offers live art performances and experience packages for guests. Feel free to stop by the studio and say hello, our home is on the same 58-acre property. Although you cannot see our home from the Art Lodge or Tiny Bungalows, we're often nearby for assistance.

We are a private campground and wedding venue in the heart of Hocking County.
We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible.
The property is full of wildlife and magnificent views and rainbows galore, with minimal light pollution, our night sky's are spectacular. We are within a 30 minutes drive of all of Hocking Hills State Parks, Nature preserves and so much more.
Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area.
Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more.
Southern Ohio offers some amazing roads for motorcycle rides, including the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, The Windy 9, The Triple Nickel and Three Rivers .

RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine.
If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180).

Close to and easy access from US 33 There are 4 primitive and secluded campsites around the property for tent camping. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's and Horses are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes, making this the most desirable site for getting full body sun, and shade when wanted in complete privacy. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods, making this a preferred site for privacy, shade and easy access to the winery. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle, one out in the open sun and near the driveway while the other is in the coolest spot on the property with a very nice rock formation to admire and secluded for privacy. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. Hiking the trails naked rarely encounters other people. Sunny Rest Skyview can accomodate an RV with no hookup, generator is allowed. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Apple product GPS will not get you to this location, use the pin on Google Maps.

I'm an artist and my husband and I have a small homestead with chickens and sometimes sheep/goats. Look out for electric netting to keep our herd/flock protected. The lighting over our back field is divine in the late afternoon, or if you prefer a wooded setting, we have a small wooded area across the street from our house. The area is hilly and rather private-- only one neighbor is visible when the trees are leafed out. Electric is accessible from an outlet at the backyard fence or in the barn. We often have fresh veggies and fruit in the garden in the summer, and sometimes extra farm fresh eggs. Nearby (10 minute drive) is Hargus lake, with boat rental and fishing. Also nearby is the Slate Run Historical Farm, (15 minute drive) which is a farm that is fully functioning as a farm from the 1880's with sheep, draft horses, hogs, and poultry at Slate Run Metro park, which has many woodland and wetland trails, as well as a covered bridge and several playgrounds. We are about 35 minutes from the Hocking Hills area, which is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in Ohio.

Please note that our Campground is on the River. Due to excessive rain and certain times of the year, the campground may be wet and muddy. We also cannot control the level of the river or the access to the River based on current water levels.
Riverside Campground features 80 sites and conveniently located portable restrooms throughout the campground. Just steps from the Family Fun Center, guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities perfect for the whole family.

We stayed for 2 nights and although it was cold, it was a peaceful quiet setting with amazing hosts. We stayed in Site 2 and it was well kept with firewood available and at the ready. The shower had hot water and there were 2 toilets that were clean and well maintained all within a short walking distance. Our hosts were available without being intrusive which was really nice for maintaining that private and relaxing type environment we were looking for. Also, hocking hills hiking locations were about 15-20mins away depending on where you wanted to park so that made it convenient. No Wifi reached our site and we didn’t have cell service but that was kind of the point for us so we didn’t mind at all. Overall, it was a great stay and if we are back in the area we will definitely choose to stay again and explore the other available sites.

Jim's site is great! This was our second visit and we'll definitely be back. We drove our truck to the site but if you don't have a capable vehicle, he'll drop you and your gear off. Jim always provides plenty of firewood. Having the winery to visit is a big plus too!

Jim’s land was great! We needed a couple of night to try out the new camping set up and this place was perfect. The weather wasn’t the best, rainy/cold and site was a tad muddy. Jim offered a grassy site for us if we wanted, but we really wanted to stay by the rock formation. Jim offered more than plenty of firewood which was very nice for the cold days and nights while we were there. Overall good stay and great host!

We loved our 4x4 site, shaded with good hammock trees. It felt private & peaceful. There is some construction currently underway on the property, but it didn’t negatively impact our stay. The shower had hot water, which was so nice to have. I had remembered seeing laundry being available somewhere in the listing, but that is no longer an offering. Come prepared with your own drinking water & gear as if you’re dispersed camping. Proximity to Hocking Hills is great!

Wild Ridge was a delightful and peaceful place to camp. With only a few campsites available, we had the luxury of sharing the area with just two other couples during our stay, making it feel quite private. The full hookups at our site were a great convenience.
While the campground is still a work in progress, it offered excellent value for the price. One area noted for improvement is around the fire pit; it could use some leveling to make seating more comfortable. However, the provided firewood was a nice touch, as purchasing wood can add up quickly, and it's best not to transport it from other places.
Although they mentioned selling wood as well, we found ourselves settling in for the night after a day of hiking and dinner, which made the supplied wood the perfect amount. If you're someone who enjoys the amenities of a KOA, this might not be the spot for you. However, for those who prefer remote sites and the chance to escape the crowds, Wild Ridge offers a great balance.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and are likely to return!

They are still working on some landscaping and moving stuff around but in the next year I think it will be an amazing spot and the view was great. Running water and electric at the campsite were nice. Owners are very friendly and lots of great trails in the area.
