The staff were excellent! So kind and helpful. This is a camp spot for people with horses (which we didn’t have) but also a safe and lovely time with clean bathrooms, warm showers, and amazing group spaces with the pavilions. My sister and I enjoyed our stay a lot, we especially appreciated the wifi and water spicket at the camp site (yes, we are glampers).

Site was fine, but we had several issues throughout our stay. The site as booked was supposed to be full hook-up with on-site sewer connection, but was found at arrival to not be present (a dump station is on property and a paid pump out service was offered). The grass was not cut prior to arrival being several inches over length and had to be requested multiple times to be cut. Only one bathhouse for a somewhat large campground which was thankfully not full and with showers lacking comfortable water pressure. WiFi does not work at this site despite multiple connections being offered and cell service (Verizon) is minimal due to the terrain. Could be improved with more amenities beside small playground. Firepit was on our neighbor's site. Several campers broke rules with off-leash dogs wandering the campground. There are a lot of horse stalls and a creek with equestrian trials making this better suited for horse campers.

This adventure we went on landed us at the Pine Creek. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and shower house was exceptionally well kept. The atmosphere was fantastic. Last but not least its about 15 minutes from all the caves and paths that you would want to be there for.

Overall, the campground is beautiful. And I can’t hold the torrential downpour against the owners. With that said, the bathrooms were new but as the weekend went on, the men’s bathroom was not maintained (I.e. no toilet paper). Many of the sites are extremely close together. If we sat outside under our awning, we would be staring at our neighbor’s vehicle about 2-3 ft from us. The description of the site included sewer hookup in addition to water and electricity. But no sewer was available. The environment with horses all around was really neat.

very nice campsite, we got there at 9pm and called to see what to do to check in, they answered quickly, and had already set out a map for us to use outside their office with our campsite marked. bathrooms were very clean, and the area was beautiful. would definitely camp there again!

Even for early spring before the park had fully opened everything was fully functional and pristine. Hosts where grate with maps and a simple as it goes check in. Lots of trails and activities with in a 10 minute drive and grannies up the road is worth the stop in.
