This campsite is in the woods just off the driveway to our farm. It is surrounded by beautiful forest and borders a beautiful ravine. There are lots of deer and turkeys in the area. There are a few coyotes around too, but they have not caused any problems for us. It is about 15 minutes from downtown Logan, 30 minutes to the caves, and just down the road from Wayne national forest. There are no amenitys yet. Also it will be a little tight for anything bigger than a sprinter van. Bigger campers can fit, but require some backing.

These newly updated gravel RV sites are located in the Hocking Hills area. Just a short distance away from Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave. Other parks nearby are Lake Hope State Park, Zaleski State Forest, Tar Hollow State Forest, Cedar Falls and many more. Located right across the road is the Buckeye Trail that is walked by many hiking enthusiast through the hocking hills region. You can enjoy some peace and quiet at the end of the day around the fire or walking the nearby creek. Please be respectful of our neighbors and stay on your side of the creek. The creek is marked to the right with orange markers and to the left the property ends at the bridge. Pack it in, pack it out: Check your campsite for trash and leftover food, and pack if there is any please place them in the dumpster at the entrance. Please leave the property just like it was when you got there. There is no cell phone service in this area. We do have extended WiFi from the cabin now. After a long day of hiking grab a delicious burger from Jimbo's or a slice of heaven from Papa Dino's Pizzeria. Side note: There is a cabin also available to rent on site it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for friends that do not have campers. Great site- all the basic needs met. Electric and water hookup. Close to campus/ Athens. Was able to pull up next to a cement slab, which was great since it rained all weekend. Road was close but couldn’t hear traffic inside our camper. Well maintained spot. Definitely plan to come back a few times a year while kid is at OU!!

Amazing location, definitely off the beaten track. Loved the privacy, the scenic oasis and the trails along the river/creek. Our dog Gemma, loved to run free on her walks with her owners, including the rail trail. The colors of autumn were such an enjoyable treat from this location. If you’re in the area, it’s a gem!

What an awesome site! Especially if you’re into biking. The Moonville Rail Trail is just a stones throw away. The campsite has a maze of awesome clover paved walking trails. Great for walking your dog! Location is an easy walk to the Kings Hollow Tunnel and an easy bike ride to the Moonville Tunnel.

Weekend Trip to The Oasis

Beautiful wooded lot sandwiched between a bike trail and a creek. Each space included a fire ring, and a nearby latrine was available for use. This is an excellent place if you are looking to camp and have things to do. The host mentioned the creek is high enough to canoe or kayak in the spring. You can also enjoy access to the bike trail right from the site, and the Hopewell earthworks are within a short driving distance. The hosts were on-site when we arrived and were very friendly and helpful. Firewood is also available for purchase right there on the spot. There are also multiple sites located around a common area, making it ideal for large groups. Overall, my sister and I enjoyed our stay.

Amazing time! Land was beautiful, we could make all the noise we wanted without bothering other campers. Dogs were running free. Stars were beautiful. Bathroom was clean, solar shower was cold but surprisingly nicer than expected! They had all the firewood we needed (which was a lot). We weren’t too far from hiking. We would absolutely camp here again.
