Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west. 13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S. I 71 N/S Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus...

Croaky Oak Clearing of Good Knights Reserve is located in Ohio and a 25-30 minute drive to Dublin. You'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property. Maximum RV length is limited to 24 ft. (pictured is a 22' travel trailer with a 3' rear rack). 30 amp electric service is provided, as well as potable water to fill your tank at the site. This is a back-in, level site of crushed stone, dimensions 12 ft. wide by 24 ft. deep, with ample space for your tow vehicle. Enjoy the nearby fire pit with wood provided.
If towing, you will want to enter our lane from the direction of the Village to make the turn easier.
There is a dump site conveniently located just 3.5 miles away at John Bryan State Park ($10).

Croaky Oak Clearing of Good Knights Reserve is located in Ohio and a 25-30 minute drive to Dublin. You'll have nothing but peace and privacy on the back 15 acres of the property. A 1/2 mile drivable path will take you to the one site offered. Here you can pitch your tent, build a campfire, catch and release a few fish from the pond, or choose to sit on the floating dock with your feet in the water. There are also a few short trails to meander through. The camp site sits next to a large wetland in cooperation with ODNR, Division of Wildlife so you'll hear the sound of croaking frogs and various other creatures communicating back and forth. A clean porta-john is close by and a small charcoal grill and picnic table with seating for 8 is available. Reservoirs, golf courses, several quaint bakeries and boutiques are close by for additional entertainment. Route 33 is easily accessible.

This 80 acre farmland has been in the family for 6 generations. Some of the land is still used for farming to this day. The old barn, built in the late 1800's still stands.
Now there is also a motocross track on the property. The track is only open occasionally. Enjoy easy trails in the woods, feed fish in the pond, and if you would like to see our goats and chicken we can arrange a time to introduce you!

Join us at Riverside Adventures for your next getaway. We are located on a 67 acre farm located on the Little Miami River in the heart of Warren County Ohio, also known as "Ohio's playground". We have 4 camp sites total, all with with river front access. Each site has its own stone patio, fire ring, and picnic table, with other amenities also available. We welcome both small and large groups and can help you plan events here such as family reunions, bachelor(ette) parties, and corporate retreats. With one canoe livery within two miles of us (Little Miami Canoe), you can drop your canoe or kayak in upstream and make your campsite a pit stop before getting picked up downstream by their shuttles. You can also rent a tube from us and go up and down our property or hang out on your tube anchored by the beach. We can also shuttle you upstream on Saturdays and Sundays. You can hike on our property to get scenic views of the Little Miami River Valley or spend time exploring Halls Creek (just down the street), the Fort Ancient Mounds, and others. We know other special local spots we can let you in on, too. We are just a 1/2 mile from the Little Miami Bike Trail and close to Caesar's Creek, Cowan Lake, YMCA's Camp Kearn, and Camp Joy. Plain Folk Music Cafe, Fresh to Morrow, Valley Vineyards, and Little River Cafe, are also short drives if you want to grab a bite to eat and vibe on some cool, local hangouts. What a gorgeous spot! My friends and I did some winter camping here and the host was extremely accommodating. We planned it a while in advance, not anticipating record snowfall just before. However, the host was kind enough to plow the snow on the campsites as well as a path to the port-a-jon before our arrival, and even prepped some firewood in the fire ring for us! The sounds of the babbling river right next to the campsite as well as the ample wildlife (there are some bald eagles out and about here!), it was a tremendous stay and we look forward to coming back when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy it some more! Easy recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed with Unruly Goats. We had another trip planned out but it fell through at the last second. Our last minute reservation was easily accommodated and our stay was quiet, quaint, and filled with lots of fun animals.
Communication with the host was a breeze.
The site was clean and well kept.
The porta-potty was clean and available even during winter.
The animals were curious about our set up but never overbearing and never messed with our stuff.
Parking was easy and made set up a breeze, no need to hike to your site.

Loved this spot… although we made a mistake and had planned for an electric hookup for heat. We stayed one night anyway and loved having even a short time on this property. The farm was really an incredible property. We brewed coffee on the provided propane stove and enjoyed a quiet morning on the swing by the creek while enjoying our hot coffee. It felt like a happy accident that we accidentally stumbled on a site that we’ll return to with our solar panels for a boondocking trip in the future. And If you are a tent camper, this spot is one of the best we’ve seen, hands down. Book now!

Definitely recommend booking this campsite! It was a lovely property, including highland cows (a baby was born just a few weeks ago!), the farmhouse, and the campsite itself. There is a great fire pit, picnic table, outhouse, and porch swing - what more could you need! The stream next to the campsite was so peaceful to sleep to. The owners were very kind and even surprised us with some cookies when we checked in. Cannot wait to book again!

Chris set up was perfect. Ideal for those not wanting to stray to far from the interstate but also not want to stay in the city. I had a late arrival and they were very accommodating and was quick to respond to messages to help me locate the driveway due to the darkness. Would highly recommend, sad I has to head out early to beat out storms. But would definitely stay again.

The land is very private, we were able to access the property with ease. The camp sites were distanced very nicely as we didn’t really hear or see anyone else. Access to the creek was easy, the creek water was very clear in nature. We did some fishing and caught 4 large mouth bass and a species I never dealt with before. After few forums the fish was skipjack herring know. As poor mans Tarpon. You can hear the coyotes late at night hunting animals. We didn’t encounter any wildlife like deer, or raccoons. The owner greeted us very next day. I would def come back during the summer time and do some fishing. Camp site 3 was excellent cause we like being away from people and being on our own. The location took me by surprise. The owner gave us a tip on hot tent camping, I had a stove was too close to the ground. He recommended some stone or concrete blocks. We went to Home Depot and got some cheap stone stepping stones and fixed our problem with the stove.

Our tent camping getaway was a dream!! Plenty of space to enjoy board games or cards at the picnic table, cook on the provided propane stove top, or chat around the stone lined fire pit! This place was decked out with so many bells and whistles! The entire property is beautifully maintained and the host was an interesting and witty man. The outhouse was uber clean and had a water source (bath and body works pump soap! Bonus!) with a sink for washing and rinsing! The camp site location was nestled in a cozy cocoon alongside a stream and surrounded by trees, but just a quick walk to hike trails, visit chickens (yes, you can buy fresh eggs!) peacocks, bulls and a couple pot bellied pigs! We were given homemade cookies and pup treats in adorable packaging upon arrival and I’m here to say….we are already planning our next trip!! See you in the Spring, Vaughn! Could go on and on!! Just splendid!

Grew up on this lake. Something everyone should know... the lake may not be sutable for swimming as it has a long history of high levels of e-coli. Which the park has no plans to combat. 30 years ago it was the place to be, the beach full of people. Now few go there to swim because they know. However, the park itself is beautiful clean and relatively safe. You can check water quality alerts in Ohio by going to https://publicapps.odh.ohio.gov/beachguardpublic/

The beach isn't handicap friendly, as it's a long climb down from parking. It's also the rockiest water you'll ever cut a toe in. A very pretty park, however, with a great marina.
