If traveling here from the South (only on Ohio State Route 127), please note the height restrictions on three roads that connect SR 127 with the parallel Wayne Trace Road. The names of the roads to avoid:

7 Mile Road (Height restriction 10' 6" and very sharp turn to bridge)

A suggested route from traveling North on State Route 127 to Camp Rocky Run is to turn in Camden, OH on State Route 725 and head East to Wayne Trace Road.
!! NOTE on RV types !! You must have a self contained RV with on board restroom facilities. We have no restroom facilities available. For this reason, we do not offer tent camping.
!! NOTE on camp fire location !! The fire ring provided on the shared creek side patio is the only spot a camp fire, of any kind, can be built. (Sorry, but we have had too many damaged spots in the grass from the use of 'portable' fire ring units.)

If it is too wet to access the creek side spots, we can still accommodate your stay in the nearby barn driveway but if you are unable to back up with the 'toad' then a detach will be required. Again, this is only if it is too wet to access the creek side camp spots. Union Acres Retreat is also home to three friendly dogs—River, Bruce, and Rio. At times, one or more of them may roam the property off-leash. Because the resident dogs may chase cats or other small animals, the property is not suitable for guests travelling with cats.

If towing, you will want to enter our lane from the direction of the Village to make the turn easier.

Beautiful property very pet friendly. The creek site is very relaxing. Do to mother nature we moved to a gravel site that was available so we didn't get stuck or tear up there property. Curtis and Michelle are great people and will do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Circumstances intervened and we weren’t able to visit. However the host was prompt to respond to my last minute inquiries and even checked on us when we didn’t arrive when expected. They were a pleasure to work with and I hope to be able to stay sometime in the future.

Was a beautiful site. Dogs and kids loved it.Nice stream and very well kept. A train did go through in the distance a few times that night and highway noise is close,but it is well worth it for the view and location. We got to see a large flock of ducks a few times in the morning, they passed by in the creek. Was a good stay and a beautiful view. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Originally, we had booked the Boondocking, but switched to the last minute because of the warm weather conditions. We ended up in the full hook up. Facilities were amazing, but the campsites were very close to one another, and there was very little privacy. I think the Boondocking would’ve been amazing if the weather had been cooler and we could’ve just operated off of our generator. Everybody was friendly and it was a quiet, family oriented campground.

We loved the private, quiet spot with a front row seat to a beautiful sunset and lots of fireflies. Allen kindly checked in to ensure that we were all set. Having the electric hook-up was a plus. Thanks!

Group trip
This was my second time camping there with my 17 foot expandable. Plenty of room to park. It's a cool place to fish and hang out for the evening., it's only about 30 minutes from home for me, so it makes a nice little get away spot to go catch some fish and relax a little. Allen keeps the place up nice. If you like to fish, you won't be disappointed!

We showed up on a VERY rainy weekend, but other than setting up in the rain the site was exactly as explained. Clean, mostly quiet (a little noise from the road and farm nearby, but not bad). Nice gravel site that is almost completely level and a 30A hookup. Not much really close, but Sam's Place had great cheap bar food and beer. We walked to the pond, but due to the weather didn't spend too much time there. Exactly as advertised! Thank You!

we are cycling across the usa and arrived at Glen’s beautiful property - the pond, the happy criollo cattle, the easy access to electrical and water hookups for our support RV. communication was clear, we were aware of the no toilet situation (apparently others aren’t aware of “no dump” here, understood as it is a pristine farm!). the quiet was much appreciated after a few campsites near train tracks and freeways.
additionally the farm stand just up the road provided fresh eggs and after a text
exchange, melissa baked us two loaves of banana bread and a sourdough loaf that we picked up in the morning.
definitely, day 13 became a highlight of our 64 day adventure.

What a wonderful and peaceful little spot on the crick! Curtis and Michelle are awesome hosts and made us feel like family. We had everything we needed easily accessible, and felt they would help with anything we may have needed. But also felt like we were the only people at camp. Very enjoyable! Will be back for sure. Thanks again guys!

Beautiful and absolutely relaxing! We needed a weekend getaway from the city and from life, Glen's place was perfect. From watching "cow TV" in the morning and the fish flop around in the pond this spot was exactly what we needed. Hoping to return! Thank you for the hospitality Glen!

Very nice and cute spot. Allen was a great host and very accommodating. The pond was beautiful and fish were hungry. Power is as advertised (lower than 30a) but we were just diligent with our usage so no issues. Loved the christmas trees and property overall.

19 ft pop-up camper
We love to stay at the ranch and visit with Glen, sarah and the cattle. We have been tree times and plan to make this our regular go to for camping.
The view is spectacular, the property is emaculate, the owners are a delight and the peacefulness us abundant.
We love the extra perk to buy the delicious organic grass-fed beef raised there.
Then there is the nearby town of yellow springs with its quaint town with an artsy and trendy vibe, and adventurous and beautifal hiking trails.
You must visit. You will be hooked!
