Learn more about this land: The campsite is in an open meadow on our 5 acre property, next to the ruins of what was one of the oldest barns in the county (there are still some beautiful stone walls left). You will be surrounded by trees and the spot is completely private. Directly across the road from our property (a 5 minute walk) is the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the third longest paved trail in the US (amazing for biking). The unique village of Yellow Springs is only a 5 minute drive away with a great local grocery store and several cafes. Included in this campsite is access to our 1830s spring house if you want a refreshing dip! If you would like to visit our chickens or Angie's pottery studio in the barn, just let us know and we'd love to show you around. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE BOOKING. Notes: 1) We are still building a compost toilet so the option on the property now is to dig a cat hole at least 6" deep. There is an open public toilet in Yellow Springs and several businesses with open bathrooms. 2) The spring house is not secluded, you can see it from our driveway. We regularly let it drain and it fills itself up. Water level depends on rainfall. It is cold but perfect for hot days! 3) The campsite is right off of Route 68. You cannot see cars from the site but you can hear them. The amount of noise from cars is very low at night. 4) The meadow is ideal for tent camping, though it is NOT a built campsite so it is not perfectly level throughout. 5) For camper vans: we do allow camper vans (not RVs) but please note when it rains it can get very muddy. No camper vans have been stuck in the meadow due to rain/mud, but it has happened to an RV and hence we do not accept RVs at our site. 6) We are in the process of removing scrap metal from the barn ruins and hence there is a pile of scrap metal collected along one edge of the site that is currently visible. It should be completely removed by May 1, 2021.

Enjoyed a lovely night at this place. Being a solo female, I found the sound of occasional cars at night comforting. I will echo the other reviews on that I did not see a good level spot at the campsite. The driveway was very steep as advertised but it was manageable. The grass was long, but there had been lots of rain the week before, so that was likely a factor. Thanks for a beautiful private spot!

Perfect area for private camping! We were a little disappointed the plunge pool only had about 1-2 ft of water and wasn’t usable.

Suited our needs perfectly!
I loved camping here! The campsite is very secluded and quiet while still close to Yellowsprings. I definitely prefer it to the crowded campgrounds at John Bryan. My friends and I had a great time, especially with the campfire. No problems with bugs. The gravel driveway is pretty steep but not much too much trouble when taking caution.

This is a great site for an overnight. Super convenient location to Yellow Springs. It would be hard to do more then a couple nights due to sleeping on a slant. The ground is flat but not level for tent camping. You can hear the road but we came from the city so that was not a problem for us. It worked out for a nice night out of the city with my girls!

This was a good spot for one night. The neighbors were having a shooting party till 10pm. The highway noise was louder than expected, but if you're super tired you will eventually fall asleep. The breakfast at Sunrise Cafe in Yellow Springs was very good!

Angie's land was super quaint and really well maintained. The property was beautiful. There was bamboo planted all around and it was really cool to see. The campsite was big enough to pull through and have plenty of space and even had a small trail to walk around to the right of the camp sight. In the middle of the site, there is a big fire pit and logs to sit on. There was some road noise from the road below and the driveway was very steep, but otherwise a great little spot.
