The Sculptdecor Studio, run by my partner and master sculptor Dustin Weatherby, is on the 58-acres closest to the Art Lodge located at the bottom of the driveway. Dustin specializes in animatronics, steel sculptures, wood carvings, mixed media sculptures, and offers live art performances and experience packages for guests. Feel free to stop by the studio and say hello, our home is on the same 58-acre property. Although you cannot see our home from the Art Lodge or Tiny Bungalows, we're often nearby for assistance.

I'm an artist and my husband and I have a small homestead with chickens and sometimes sheep/goats. Look out for electric netting to keep our herd/flock protected. The lighting over our back field is divine in the late afternoon, or if you prefer a wooded setting, we have a small wooded area across the street from our house. The area is hilly and rather private-- only one neighbor is visible when the trees are leafed out. Electric is accessible from an outlet at the backyard fence or in the barn. We often have fresh veggies and fruit in the garden in the summer, and sometimes extra farm fresh eggs. Nearby (10 minute drive) is Hargus lake, with boat rental and fishing. Also nearby is the Slate Run Historical Farm, (15 minute drive) which is a farm that is fully functioning as a farm from the 1880's with sheep, draft horses, hogs, and poultry at Slate Run Metro park, which has many woodland and wetland trails, as well as a covered bridge and several playgrounds. We are about 35 minutes from the Hocking Hills area, which is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in Ohio.

We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible.
The property is full of wildlife and magnificent views and rainbows galore, with minimal light pollution, our night sky's are spectacular. We are within a 30 minutes drive of all of Hocking Hills State Parks, Nature preserves and so much more.
Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area.
Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more.
Southern Ohio offers some amazing roads for motorcycle rides, including the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, The Windy 9, The Triple Nickel and Three Rivers .

RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine.
If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180).

Close to and easy access from US 33 There are 4 primitive and secluded campsites around the property for tent camping. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's and Horses are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes, making this the most desirable site for getting full body sun, and shade when wanted in complete privacy. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods, making this a preferred site for privacy, shade and easy access to the winery. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle, one out in the open sun and near the driveway while the other is in the coolest spot on the property with a very nice rock formation to admire and secluded for privacy. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. Hiking the trails naked rarely encounters other people. Sunny Rest Skyview can accomodate an RV with no hookup, generator is allowed. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Apple product GPS will not get you to this location, use the pin on Google Maps.

My partner and I decided last minute to stay near the Hocking Hills area for more hiking the following morning. Jim's location is perfect! The campsite we locked into came with lots of benefits. Very private and tucked into the woods. Freedom to roam without clothing too. Jim gave us a ride on the tractor with the trailer up to the site and showed us around. Later we found that our Jeep gladiator was able to get up the steep hill and park with us at the site. Coolest part is the short walk down the back hill to the Rockbridge Winery. It had a nice patio, live music, food truck and tasty wine slushies after a nice day of hiking to cool down. We mentioned staying at the site up the hill and they even gave us a discount! We are keeping this location in mind for future travels. Next time we will stay longer and walk property more.

Came to Margie’s property for a family trip to Hocking Hills. We stayed at Site 3 on the ridge and camped the weekend. It was a fantastic stay, 10/10 recommend! Site 3 was at the very top with only one way up so we had total privacy and no worries of people driving by. The site was clear, had 2 tables and a very nice fire pit. Margie also had firewood waiting for us. Site 3 was a 4x4/AWD required site and agreed it is needed for a trouble free drive up. For reference, I drove up in my Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude. From base camp up to site 3 was roughly 242ft of elevation gain. The average incline up was 8-12 degrees with the steepest portion being 20 degrees. Loose rock and dirt so when dry, we had no problems climbing up. Had we been in the rain or post-rain storm, I would have been a little worried without proper tires. It was a very fun climb up, the family loved it. There was a pit toilet very close to site, a portapotty another 100ft down and a toilet/shower down at the base. Margie was very friendly when we met and was very responsive with directions and checking in. The camp site was roughly 12-15min from Hocking Hills which made things perfect for us. All in all, highly recommend!

20 ft campervan
Katherine was very kind, friendly and showed me where my camp was. It was a wonderful stay where I was created with goats, chickens, roosters, turkeys, cats and a dog. They are friendly and love to be petted. A real relaxing and different way to camp with all the cute animals. Thank you, Katherine, and I will be returning again at this wonderful farm.

this was a really amazing place we had. the most scenic camp spot at the back of the property near a stream and rock sand stone formations. firewood was provided and there's nothing more that I could say about this place other than we will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Geo-dome Glamping
Even in the rain it was a great trip! Very relaxing and we saw the chickens, pigs and even a deer! Highly recommend the experience to others.

Very spacious!! It was awesome to see all of the animals. If you are a light sleeper and trying to sleep in, maybe try to find a different spot (the chickens are loud in the morn!). But if that doesn’t bother you, then this was an awesome place to stay. Host was nice and let us be. The toilet is a porta john, but it is kept clean.
