One loft bedroom, huge bathroom with a walk in shower and a soaking bathtub, while looking at a gorgeous creek, 20 ft away. A hot tub sits on the rear ground level deck. Kitchen with two coffee makers, microwave, full size refridge stovetop, air fryer, toaster oven and a kettle. This yurt is great for a couple or a couple with a small child, I provide a blowup mattress, twin size with linens.. The yurt faces the creek, and a rock wall on the other side making this property very private except for our cabin on the same property. It is fenced with split rail fencing and has a solar powered gate, with a gate fob provided. We are dog friendly, with a $25 pet fee per stay. This is a safe, beautiful area to visit nearby Floyd, a nearby kayak rental shuttle service, breweries, a meadery 2 miles away, and many other unique finds. This is a secluded off grid location without power, wifi, or cell service, so be prepared to UNPLUG and unwind.
Firewood for your first campfire is provided along with one tank of propane to run the indoor camp stove. Five gallons of drinking water are included with coffee and a French press. There is a cooler provided. Remember to bring ice for your groceries and sleeping bags!

The camper was cozy and perfect and the property is absolutely dreamy! You're camped right beside the creek and can hear the water at night! There are outdoor lights and there's a fire table at the site too. Sly was an amazing and very kind host. It was a wonderful experience and I'll definitely stay there again!

Absolutely loved staying here! Will definitely return one day. The site was right on the river and we were able to jump on in with our floats and fish off the bank. John was super helpful during our entire stay. Highly recommend the tent that John provides— it had a full sized memory foam mattress, couch and a ton of space to store all of our camping gear. It was my 9 year old daughter’s first time camping and she didn’t want to leave!

We loved staying in the Rivernest cabin in the treetops! From the deck we had a view of both the Yadkin River below and Pilot Mountain across the valley—truly breathtaking. The bed and soft seating were comfortable, and the kitchenette was well equipped for our long weekend of glamping. We added on a dozen eggs fresh from the onsite henhouse, and they were delicious! We enjoyed walking the many trails and hanging out at the river access on site. And we enjoyed meeting Christine who is a kind and friendly host. We look forward to returning—maybe for blackberry picking season!

We wanted a small getaway to take our puppy on her first camping trip, and to have some one on one time as a couple. Wendy was great at communicating and making sure we were settled in on arrival. She initially was going to meet us at the site to welcome us, but we didn't get in until late due to work. There were issues with the showers following the winter, but she informed us ahead of time and had them ready by the next morning when we were onsite for our first full day. The setup is absolutely adorable and unique. It's a peaceful area with a little trail to walk with your dogs and a creek runs alongside the site. They have plenty of places to relax on the site, including a hammock, swinging bench, and chairs set up further down the site. There is a bathroom (the privy) that is very well kept and clean. There are yard games like darts, horse shoes, and badminton to play. There is also a small campe stove and flattop for cooking, or a grate to throw over the fire. This is the perfect in between spot for those who like to touch it but also want relax!

Christine's home is absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking and the hikes down to the water were a delight! It had everything we needed and she even stopped over the first night to make sure we settled in. The directions were spot on, definitely follow them. I'm leaving a 5 star because thats what is deserved, but I the little devil on my left shoulder says to leave 1 so it doesnt get too popular!
The creek and surrounding areas are serene. Lots of deer around, especially in the morning! Our dogs loved playing in the water and fetching sticks. It was great to let them roam! We enjoyed cooking and spending time in the yurt.

Absolutely amazing! Had everything we needed and nothing we didnt for some simple primitive camping in a cabin. Fair warning my lil Toyota Corolla did have trouble going up the gravel driveway (entirely my fault, just realized after getting home my tires are almost bald and have no tread/traction) but Darin & Beth were incredibly helpful and were kind enough to assist us and was still able to make it to the cabin 😊 cannot state enough how magical this place is, it was so quiet and peaceful. Thanks Darin & Beth for your kindness and awesome hospitality, cannot wait to go back! 🫶🏼🏕️🔥

Weekend Trip to Marshall Creek Farm
Darin and Beth didn’t miss a thing planning this hilltop cabin. The gravel driveway is steep but we had no issue climbing up to the site in a Ford Transit 250 2wd loaded heavy. Our height clearance is 9’9”. All we can say is it was a super well thought out layout and includes just enough to simply pull up and start camping in minutes. Lots of extras to discover as well. Our dog loved it. We camped at end of March so trees were still bare and the night sky was visible.

My puppy and I LOVED the treehouse! It was cozy, quiet, & had just about everything you could need for a trip. There were dog treats, doggy shampoo, & a doggy towel which was awesome after spending the day on the trails. The property & the views were so beautiful and Christine was such a pleasant host. She made us feel right at home. 11/10 would recommend. I will definitely be taking another trip here during blackberry season!

Beautiful place to spend the night. I really enjoyed the bed, it’s super comfy!
It’s quiet and lots of stars. The bathroom was clean and cabin was very clean. Cabin is beautifully decorated. They even had small fridge with some waters. Very nice location near vineyards and not too far from town.
My only recommendation would be to add full length curtains for privacy and to keep sun out in morning. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a wonderful stay at Christine’s treehouse! She has truly thought of everything to make this the perfectly cozy and relaxing stay. It has everything you need. The place is beautifully decorated and I felt like I was in a cozy artist’s studio. Even though the nights during our stay were cold, we were very warm and comfortable inside the treehouse with the heaters doing a great job. The views of the river from the treehouse is gorgeous and being able to open both garage doors to let the fresh air in really merged the outside freshness with the indoor relaxation. Christine’s property is also super cool! She has miles of hiking trails available and has stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes available to use! There were even doggie life jackets! The treehouse is also only 45 minutes from Winston-Salem and the perfect weekend getaway. This is a stay we’d absolutely love to do again! (Also, make sure to follow the directions and NOT plug the treehouse address into Google Maps because that may lead you somewhere quite different).
