We are located in the High Peaks of the Adirondacks between Lake Champlain and Lake Placid. The area is legendary for a multitude of hiking trails, mountain biking, and lakes/rivers for paddling. There are amazing natural environments such as Ausable Chasm and it's also an area rich in American historical sites. We are centrally located making area events and popular destinations an easy drive. We are also close to Rt 87 for ease of access yet far enough away to enjoy plenty of quiet and space in nature. The 2 RV site areas are very large with ample space for large RV turnaround and parking for vehicle.
We are 300 feet off a road and are surrounded by small hamlets and villages within the park. There is so much to do in this vacation wonderland. Enjoy local breweries and vineyards during your visit. The Adirondack Park (ADK) consists of old growth forests that cover more than 100,000 acres of public land in the Park and we live in the park. Adirondack forests and wetlands filter and provide clean water for many communities in NY.

There are several miles of maintained hiking trails meandering throughout the forest, ranging from an easy walk, to hilly and somewhat challenging. Many varieties of tent locations or places to park an RV, pop up, or car. This is considered a "Primitive camp site". There is no shower, toilet or electric available at this time, but well water can be had from our residence, via a hose spigot on the side of our home. This is our 3rd year of hosting, and due to the overwhelming popularity of having an abundance of privacy, we will continue to be only hosting one party at a time. Which means you'll get the privilege of not having to share your surroundings with anyone else! Your own private camp ground! We are hoping this all works out and intend to continuously improve amenities, activities and overall experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend staying at Jeffrey’s site. The surroundings are beautiful and incredibly quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. Jeffrey himself is wonderfully kind, helpful, and accommodating, which made the experience even better. This is a rare find, and we would absolutely return in the future!

Lori and Rays Hipcamp was perfect. Had all of the hook ups. Excellent location to high peaks, Lake Champlain, Lake Placid, etc. Nice large site and driveway for easy access into the site.
Nice grassy area with a fire pit and good for the dogs. Amish neighbors have an excellent bake stand and they were very sweet!
Lori and Ray provided endless information about the area and were willing to give any other recommendations we needed. 3 nights was not enough. We will be back!
House is in direct view of campsite which I wasn’t expecting, but it wasn’t a problem. Our privacy was respected!

Lori and Ray were friendly and kind hosts. Mrs. Lori met us when we pulled up and showed us exactly where to park and how to set up camp with our utilities. She also gave us a bunch of brochures and maps on things to do in the area to include hikes in Lake Placid and surrounding mountains. The camp was gravel based and very level power was 50 amp with full hook up, and the scenery was beautiful and very quiet. A great camp to stay if you want to explore the mountain surrounding the town of Lewis and Elizabethtown. Again, Lori and Ray were a wealth of information and very gracious. We hope to come back someday to finish hiking some of the 46ers!

Lori and Ray were wonderful. They were there when we arrived to greet us and lead us in and were there to see us off. They gave us flyers, recommendations and maps for local attractions which was helpful and used.
The site was level and quiet which full hook ups. Definitely visit the food stand across the street! Baked goods day is on Thursdays and they take requests.

We had a fantastic stay at Lori and Ray’s Adirondack Magic site! Lori and Ray are incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. Lori was quick to respond to every question and provided clear, accurate directions that made finding the campsite easy.
When we arrived, both Lori and Ray greeted us personally and even helped guide our camper into the perfect spot, which was greatly appreciated.
The location is excellent—close to Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and Lake Champlain, making it a convenient home base for exploring the Adirondacks. If you’re looking for a peaceful campsite with outstanding hosts and easy access to the area’s top attractions, we highly recommend .

This was indeed one of the best camp sites I think I visited. We checked in after a long cycling day, were greeted by Kelly, assigned a beautiful RV spot (we camped in our Tesla's,) and I ended up sleeping outside, set up on pads and sleeping bag. The site is quiet ( the good quiet), spaced out very generously, wood is offered unlimited at 10 dollars a stay / or a night (?), water, electricity, some of the cleanest showers and bathrooms I have seen ( my friend told me that he thought it was cleaner and more modern that most of the 3 star hotels in the U - we are Canadian). And, did I mention the views ? No obstructed views, no bushes, no thick forrest, it felt as if this were made for an astronomic observatory. .. and at night, the Milky Way. Yes. That. ( The camping site is in Fort Ann, but a few miles up from the historic town and hence no town lights to ' compete with'.
I could go on and on, but this is def top 5 in all the sites I have camped at.

WONDERFUL LOCATION, GREAT SITE AND TERRIFIC HOSTS! Lori and Ray were very welcoming and provided us with much information about the area and things to do. Their campsite is in an ideal location near Lake Placid and lots of trails nearby. The site is easy to get in to, lots of room, and level. Amish goods for purchase across the street are an added benefit. We would highly recommend to fellow campers.
