I LOVED this site. I’ve stayed at lots of great hip camps but Delaney was so warm and welcoming, the site itself was dry and useable despite a week of solid rain before. The location was perfect, the proximity to New Paltz along the rail trail was so lovely. I also loved their farm and the shop. Sunset view was beautiful!

Absolutely perfect! My dog and I stopped here for the night, and it was better than I could have expected. Our host Delaney was super helpful, we got in late and they even sent us a video of how exactly to get to the spot which can be hard to see after dark. The platform was super well built, looking right over the water. Our host also provided some great local hike recommendations, firewood, and ample fresh water. I could not recommend this farm more! Will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Gunx Camping On A Horse Farm!

Me and my partner loved this location, depending on which direction you come from it is an awesome drive through Minnewaska state park. The location is very accessible. Unfortunately it was raining like crazy when we went and Wally offered a credited stay to come another time, we ended up sticking with the original schedule and stayed overnight in the rain and still had a great time here! Highly recommend especially for the surrounding areas, this location is great, host included! Seeing the horses was also a cool experience, some came up to the fence when we drove by to check us in! Each site has its own unique aspect to it as well which made it fun to pick one out. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a place near Minnewaska state park.

2 nights at Red Fox Meadow Campsite

We had a great experience at Stone Mountain farm. We stayed in Red Fox Meadow and it was really lovely. We were the only campers in the meadow, very quiet and serene. The parking lot is very close, just a 3 minute walk. There was a newly built bathhouse which was really nice. Hot showers were a nice way to end a long day of hiking. Jonny was out point of contact at the farm and he was super accommodating. Definitely coming back!

Five Stars !! If you love animals or are just looking for a terrific camping spot near Bethel Woods, BeaverWood Farms is terrific. We had a lovely night's stay and look forward to returning. Farmer Paul and Marylin are terrific hosts. Awesome communication, terrific check-in process and very easy to find. Our rig is a Class B Campervan and it worked out just fine. We stayed at one of the campsites with a view of the lake. The $20 for a shelf of firewood was a super deal. A great night of camping. The animals are so friendly and make for great camping companions !! Thanks Paul & Marylin !!!!

There are short trails on our property for walking and miles of hiking trails in the Catskill Park. We have 2 sites. 1 for a tent and 1 site for a travel trailer 30' or less or a tent. Spaces not within view of each other.. No water but I can bring you water, no electric but I can top up your batteries for a small fee with my generator. The Mountain Top @Wright's Farm

In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. Hickory Hollow

Welcome to Hickory Hollow! Located 7 minutes from the Town of Catskill, 25 minutes from Hudson, and just under the Catskill Mountains, Hickory Hollow is the perfect campsite to take full advantage of the Upper Hudson Valley. There are two campsites you can chose from, both in clearings that make for great star gazing. Camp 1 is deeper into the forest taking about two minutes to walk to from the parking area. Camp site 2 is only a one minute walk but much closer to the farm. If you are coming with a dog, I would recommend staying at Camp site 1, as the farms dogs are very vocal when there are new friends in the area. Each campsite comes with a fire pit, a grate for cooking, and a picnic table. There is parking provided and a composting outhouse. You will need to bring your own firewood, though there is plenty of available kindling. The property is 9 acres and I encourage guests to hike down to the stream and take a walk if they feel comfortable. If not there are so many hiking/swimming options nearby and I am happy to point you in the right direction. This property has a been a life long dream of mine, and is (in my opinion) the most beautiful place on earth. That being said there is a still a lot of work that I am doing since this is a very new endeavor. So please watch yourself if you do decide to stay. The Hollow is beautiful but also very steep, so please be careful while you walk the woods. Pets are welcome, but again, be safe. There is an abundance of wildlife in the Hollow (see if you can spot the porcupine) but that can be very distracting for dogs, so be cautious when letting them off lead. There are a variety of bars and restaurants located in the small town of Rock Hill, as well as our local Farmer's Market every Saturday only during the summer months. The cabin is a short trip away from the local grocery store, a five minute drive to Resorts World Casino and Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park. A twenty-five minute drive to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (sight of the 1969 Woodstock Festival). OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE: Please respect our non-smoking policy. There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles. We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests. The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the WiFi you should have capability to call and text.
