The campsite is neighboring 105 acres of beautiful conservatory land available for hiking. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities! The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We recently wired this vintage beauty to run on solar power and has an outhouse with a composting toilet, sink, and heated outdoor shower. Outside the cottage is a small garden, picnic table, fire pit, and chairs. Our land is mostly sloped fields that we are slowly turning into meadows full of native flowers and plants. There are mowed paths through the tall grass. This is perfect glamping spot, a mixture of comfort and nature. Caitlin’s little witch cabin was perfect for our mini getaway. It was our first time in the Catskills and I’m glad we came across her Hipcamp. We basically got to do everything we planned for (hikes, food) because her place was in such a great location! Getting around was very easy and we had great cell service through out the trip. As a beginner ceramicist, I was in awe of her work! She is very talented and creative and has a great eye for decor. The bed was super comfy and we loved the outdoor shower! We absolutely LOVED our short stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The witch cottage is so comfortable and cosy, and so beautifully decorated. The bathroom is outside but super close and really comfortable and easy to use. We were laughing that it's truly more comfortable than the bathroom in our tiny NYC apartment! I highly highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely loved it here. A piece of natures heaven and will be coming back again. It was really nice that there were camping supplies there, charcoal grill, some bowls, a tent heater, bedding, and even the outhouse was supplied to help keep it fresh. Loved the waterfall and swimming hole, plenty of spots to relax at and the view is breathtaking. I loved the trails, hammocks, and signs, that even come with a sense of humor. Communication with the host was so great and appreciated. I cant say enough great things. I cant wait to come back again for a whole weekend and ill be prepared to hear the coyotes that time around - LOL!

The best getaway!! If you are looking to escape reality to a peaceful sanctuary with all the amenities you could need, this HipCamp is for you! The property is beautiful and very well-maintained. There's plenty of space to walk around and explore, as well as a cold plunge! The bed is extremely comfortable and the luxury of a full bathroom with a toilet and shower? Priceless. Anything you need to cook with is already there in the full kitchen, including a firepit to cook over which is what we did! I would suggest bringing food with you since it's not that easy to find groceries nearby! Waking up with those large windows besides you is unreal and so peaceful. There's a lovely walk down to a creek as well. This one is 10/10 and I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is SUCH a beautiful spot, we were bragging about it to all our friends. A cute little cottage not far from Catskill with a minifridge and outdoor picnic area. Isolated enough from the main house to feel private, in between lovely gardens. Caitlin met us on arrival and showed us around. Only note that is probably already mentioned on the listing: the bathroom is in a (well-lit, comfortable) shack outside.

Weekend Trip to The Little Witch Cottage
My wife and I had a wonderful, much-needed weekend away here at the cottage last weekend. This is such a gem of a property, and Caitlin was incredibly welcoming to both of us! We felt very safe and taken care of here, and the check-in process was very smooth! They even let me pull our motorcycle right across the lawn and up to the door to the cottage in order to unload some gear. Getting here was very easy; it's within a ten-minute drive from Catskill - 15 minutes over the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. Caitlin had a ton of suggestions for restaurants and supply runs in the area, and the pre-trip info was VERY well laid out for us. The wifi was great, but I loved turning the phone off for the weekend. If you're looking for things to do in the area, you're just 20 minutes away from Kaaterskill Falls for some great hiking! Theres a BBQ spot right up the road, Barnwood Restaurant, that had some of the best wings I've ever had. Will ABSOLUTELY return!

Located 50 miles from midtown Manhattan (approx 1:08 minutes) is our brand new campsite located right off the Appalachian Trail. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!) The quiet charm of Wawayanda State Park appeals to hikers, campers, swimmers and boaters. There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles. We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests.
