The Tiny House is located in a very private and remote location that sits next to thousands of acres of state land with beautiful hiking trails and access to the Neversink River. Guest access Private and easy parking with short hike down hill to the site if you are unable to drive directly to the site (NOTE: During the winter months all guests must park in the designated parking spot and hike to the site. You cannot drive as a result of the unpredictable weather) While the hike is short, some parts are steep, so please walk slowly and take your time. Driving to the site can only be done during the spring and summer months and requires a high clearance Truck, Jeep or SUV with all wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive ONLY. Keypad on the front door for easy entry. Other details to note Unless you have an all wheel drive or four wheel drive vehicle, Please DO NOT drive or attempt to drive to the tiny house site. There will be no running water during this time and the solar will not work as well as it does during the summer months. We recommend not using the electric during the daytime hours, as this helps conserve power for when you will need to use it at night. We provide the following linens: fitted sheet for the full size bed in the loft, 4 sleeping bags, and 4 pillows. Anything additional must be brought by the guest.

Now our children has taking it over and are raising beef cattle on the property. Our campsite lies on the beautiful two and a half century old LeFevre family farmstead with rich history and stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge. The property is on a 40-acre old apple orchard that is super private and filled with dramatic views and spectacular sunsets. Wake up in your tent to the sounds of birds chirping, roasters crowing and cows just close enough but just far enough way. On occasion there may be a person driving by to tend to the cattle.

We love Tiny House as it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private. The hosts are kind, give clear instructions, and they’re super responsive to any questions that may come up. We love to tent camp and this tiny house is a great option for the colder months. We were not able to use the woodstove during our stay, but there is also a diesel heater which warms the place quickly, and for a quieter option, a small portable propane heater (purchase cans of propane at the conveniently located trading post which also has literally anything else you may forget at home). As others have mentioned, the path down to Tiny House is steep… like for REAL. An ACTUAL 4-wheel drive can make it, but ONLY if the ground is dry. That said, be prepared to hike in/out your gear if need be. And if that’s not your cup of tea, we did discover that the hosts have a couple reasonably priced Airbnbs in the area - check out Cabin in Rock Hill “Trails Head Cabin” (on the same street as Tiny House) or nearby Home in Rock Hill “Beaver Lake Escape”. Our reason for visiting was to tackle the challenging hikes of the Neversink waterfalls. Trails Head Tiny House provided amazing access, as well as, respite from our hectic city life. We look forward to a future visit!

Beautiful quiet, private space and great hosts! My SUV has 4 wheel drive, but we decided to park in the lot for easier "in's and out's" during our visit as the walk was shorter than expected. The goats were adorable and the backup heating system was a great help, since we were visiting the area during a fire ban. Impressed by how close beautiful hiking was available to our stay.

We camped here over a weekend while do some rock climbing up in the Gunks. The land was beautiful and the site was exactly as expected. We enjoyed the cows and be sure to check out their farm store and brewery down the road, we cooked with ingredients mostly all from there.

Awesome spot with a raised platform that faces the mountains / sunset with a crystal clear view of the stars at night. It is private and situated on a long stretch of grass that is perfect to let your dog roam and play ball. Very farm feeling with cows that come up to say hi and sounds of roosters and crickets. Would highly recommend and would visit again. I would add to the amenities that there is a griddle and cast iron in the little wooden storage cabinet for campfire cooking.

We had such a great stay at this solar tiny house. The space is simple but comfortable. It was stocked with a lot of essentials so I didn't even need many things that we brought. My Honda Sport handled the drive to camp no problem, which I'm glad, because we had a lot of gear and I couldn't imagine hauling it all the way to the site. One of the highlights was the nearby hike to Mullet Falls—absolutely beautiful and worth the trip. The trail was easy to follow and made for a perfect way to spend part of the day. Being able to shower after was also really nice. For food, the Rock Hill Café nearby was a gem. Everything I tried there was fresh and delicious, and it was such a nice bonus to have great local food within reach. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to recharge, connect with nature, and enjoy some great local flavor, this place is a wonderful choice. Say hi to the goats for us!

The site is gorgeous, tidy, and private. The sun sets over the ridge beyond the meadow, and the sweet cows keep you company on the other side of the fence. A platform, two Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, stove, table and benches make for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend for families. The cows keep the kids engaged while you get set up! We’ll be back!

We loved staying at Tree Day Weekend! The cabin is cozy and the loft bed was super comfy. The outdoor kitchen was great and made cooking super easy, both on the gas stove and on the fire. Add in a hot shower and refreshing swimming hole, and it's a perfect glamping situation.

Our land is 18 acres of a wooded hill, surrounded by hundreds more acres of trust-preserved land. A brook glitters from across the street, visible from most spots on the hill. The preserve land can be hiked, though there are not always paths. Macedonia and Kent Falls state parks are nearby by car, as well as an entrance to the Appalachian Trail just five minutes down the road. Located 50 miles from midtown Manhattan (approx 1:08 minutes) is our brand new campsite located right off the Appalachian Trail. The camp is at the base of Wawayanda mountain right between the iconic hikes "Stairway to Heaven" and "Pochuck Boardwalk" on the Appalachian Trail. Hike right from camp up to "Pinwheel Vista" (named one of NJ's best viewpoints!) About 10 minutes down 94 is the beautiful town of Warwick or about 4 minutes in the opposite direction is the town of Vernon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs. No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles. We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests. The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the WiFi you should have capability to call and text. This campsite is nestled in the deep woods of a 120 acre farm that offers beautiful views coming and going. After being allowed to use the restroom at the stone farmhouse, you will then go rustic and start your 3/4 - 1 mile hike in (approximately 20 minutes to the campsite) past the fields and pond down the path into the woods. The trail is remote and you will instantly be able to leave the sights and sounds of civilization behind you and breath the clean forest air. Wear good hiking shoes because portions of the hike are uneven and rocky. This site is best for experienced campers who know how to pack light with just the essentials as there is no tractor service to this campsite. When you arrive at the campsite, you will be within 20 feet of a year round stream with brook trout and in a hundred foot tall hemlock canopy nestled between two brook meadows. A 9,000 acre forested preserve abuts our property so you will be able to completely relax, bird watch, enjoy the wildlife, or fish for a brook trout breakfast without hearing the sounds of anyone but yourselves. The campsite has a stone fire pit, split log benches for seating, a canvas privacy blind around a stand of trees where the composting toilet resides, and a food bag lift to attach your food and trash bags to about 100 yards from the campsite. Unlimited Split firewood is free next to where you will park that you can take down to the site. All trash needs to be carted out with you. We can't accept mixed trash as it will attract animals that will knock over the trashcans and make a mess. No food goes in our personal trashcans as we have learned this the hard way.
