The well equipped, easy to get to campsite boasts, running water, electric, hot tub, shower house, screen house, picnic table, hammock and horseshoe pits. The essentials are at the site (cooler, camp stove, pots, utensils, lanterns, coffee pot, firewood and more). Interesting trails right outside your door. We added an outdoor hot tub to the site as well as a shower house. Bring your swimsuit! The shower house has a private side for the portable loo as well as a shower side with running water. You may not want to leave, but Onteora Lake in the Bluestone Wild Forest is great for hiking, swimming and boating. Our campsite is located only 5 minutes from Ashokan Reservoir where you can fish and boat. Bring your own camping gear or rent ours, the adventures are endless! You need to let the water Heat up again in the Tank for more hot water if multiple people are taking showers around the same time. During or right after a NorthEast Tropical Storm or Severe weather the power can go out. It will go back on !! Take advantage of the many Candles, Lantern and Board Games to play! Grind up some fresh Starbucks Reserve Coffee Beans. Condiments and Spices are also included. The cabin has its own water well that goes 180 ft below the ground to bring up fresh, clean, chemical free Natural Spring catskill water. Your hair and skin will feel soft and clean. The fishing is excellent and portable grill available to cook your catch. There’s really no need to leave the property, but if you do, it’s close to attractions such as Bethel Woods, Town of Barryville next to Deleware River, Farmers Markets, Amazing farm to table restaurants, Milford antiques, Forestburgh playhouse, Pecks local market , Kadampa World Peace and Meditation center, etc. etc. etc. The camper comfortably sleeps two adults and up to 3 kids.
