the locals know our street because of the indigenous people and early Dutch settlers mixing with the slaves. Much history here, with the small town of stone houses, making Hurley a national historic destination.
This serene is secluded on a mountain surrounded by trees with seasonal views. The campsite is neighboring 105 acres of beautiful conservatory land available for hiking. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities!
The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you.

Feels like you’re away from civilization but yet close to all the Hudson valley has to offer. 15-20min from Woodstock, rosendale, stone ridge, Rhinebeck, red hook, New Paltz and Mohawnk short 30 min drive. The glampsite is a yurt with a fire pit and a full modern bathroom just a short walk away. For a small fee, you can also rent our bikes for riding the nearby rail trail or just visit the waterfall 2 miles away. Wood available for purchase. THE HOT TUB IS PART OF A MINI-SPA PACKAGE AAND IS AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE. Not only will You be relaxing, but also connecting with the cosmos through a 1 hr transformative healing session offered by the host for an extra fee.

You will love your stay with us! It's all the fun of camping with all the convenience of a hotel, whether you are camping as a couple or as a family. Each campsite can be rented as a single tent or family camping with two tents. both tents can be furnished with either 2 twin beds or 1 Queen bed. Message me ahead of time with your needs and I will set it up accordingly. All blankets and sheets are provided. Each tent has a mini fridge, Keurig which comes with a few kcups, cream and sugars to get you started. There is a 24" TV with Alexa firestick and DVD player. We have a large catalog of movies if you'd like to borrow them. There is a small breakfast table for 2 and a 3 drawer dresser that doubles as a night table with a lamp . There is an outlet on each side of the bed for charging phones
Outside the tent your area has a gas grill and picnic table, a camp box which contains pots pans, cooking utensils, paper plates, cups and more. A campbox inventory list is posted in the pictures. There is a fire pit with adirondack chairs, sit by the fire and roast Marshmallows we provide everything you need for smores including the sticks.
Bath towels and toiletries are provided there is a large shower with dressing room and a deluxe flushable Porta potty with a sink and paper towels on the property.
You are welcome to walk the property sit and relax on one of the many benches or chairs or get a game of cornhole going.

This raw, soft, organic land is a home teeming with life. Listen to the birds as they sing throughout the day and into the night. (We call them the fairies). Look for the curious creatures that walk the earth like the frogs and newts. Open your ears to the sweet sounds of the East Mongaup River; and perhaps take the brief walk down to visit her.

My girlfriends and I camped here and it was wonderful. We felt really safe here, and chantal and jesse are the best hosts. The land and river are really special. We felt so at peace here. Will definitely be visiting again!

Chantel and Jessie made our camping trip a rich cultural experience. Our young daughters were fascinated by their indigenous music and spirituality and they learned to respect and admire nature. The campsite and large tent were ideal for a small group camping experience. Even though we had some light rain for most of our stay, our girls are already asking when we will return.

Taino woods is the most beautiful land I’ve experienced on Hipcamp! Jessie and Chantrel have fostered a magical place with so much life and soul. We stayed at one of the river sites which offered peaceful sounds of the river with privacy. The singing and music they greeted each day filled my heart. As far as amenities, they have a fully stocked kitchen so we brought way more stuff than we needed but thankfully got some help brining it back up in the ATV. If you enjoy something more secluded and want to feel connected with Mother Earth book your spot here!

Weekend Trip to TainoWoods Fairy Magical Sweet Land
I went Moto camping at Taíno Woods with a good friend and it was such a memorable experience. The land is beautiful and truly feels like a sanctuary — peaceful, grounding, and alive with the sounds of nature. We set up camp, made a fire, and spent the night under the stars. What made it extra special were the songs sung by the hosts in the mornings and evenings — soulful, heartfelt, and unlike anything I’ve experienced at another campsite. It felt both grounding and uplifting, a reminder of the deep connection this place has to spirit and community. The campsites are well cared for and offer plenty of privacy, while still being close enough to enjoy the warmth and wisdom of the hosts. Whether you’re looking for quiet time in nature, a place to recharge, or a more spiritual and cultural experience, Taíno Woods offers it all. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back again!

Roads in the campground are a little tight but doable for large rigs. Sites are clean, park is EXTREMELY quiet and we got a restful nights sleep. Would camp here again!

Beautiful property that allows you to feel connected with nature. If you would like the conveniences of clamping, the outdoor shower and compostable toilet are available and very sanitary. The outdoor kitchen is also well stocked with all you may need. The river provides a relaxing atmosphere and the campsites are spread apart to provide privacy. The hosts are a delight who share indigenous wisdom throughout the stay and their dog Thunder is a delight. This was my first camping experience and I would definitely do it again and highly recommend to others.
