A great spot for a quiet coffee in the morning, walk in the woods, or just a night around the campfire with friends. Our sites include fire ring and picnic table for your use. Sorry, at this time we don't offer utilities, however we do have a porta-potty onsite for campers use. Many of our campers are here to disconnect, but most of the sites offer good cell service.
Plenty of woods and fields to wander through. Days are filled with wildlife. Turkey & deer that hang out in the lawn, peepers and even the coyotes at night! We also have a handful of Eagles that can be seen pretty often too! We offer wooded and open area hiking around the property.
The property is located in the quiet hills in New York's Finger Lakes Region. Just 20 minutes from Keuka Lake and 25 to all the shopping and dining experiences that you could ever want in downtown Corning along with hundreds of NYS
breweries and wineries to enjoy during the day.
Their are several nearby rivers and lakes to canoe or kayak, hiking trails all over the region and even in our own backyard! We hope to see you soon!
Sites #1, #2 & #3 can easily accommodate any type of camper (tent, trailer, van, RV, motor home, etc.)
These sites could be booked for more than just 2 campers. Please contact me if you have a larger group.
Site #4 offers the best view! However it is close to our house so if you want more privacy we recommend staying at one of the other sites. But their is plenty of room here for a larger group.
Site #5 is secluded by itself on the far side of the field on the right hand side of our driveway. The best way to get to it is to take the road to the end of the field. You will find an vehicle accessible path next to the tree line.

Our property is very wooded and secluded, it is on a hill, parking is about a football field distance from the campsite, rugged walking, very doable, bring appropriate footwear.
We are nestled on a private road on top of a hill backed up to 2100 acres of New York Gaundry Hill State Forest. There's waterways with active Beaver ponds between our properties.

Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added. Pooh's Corner lies in a rural area just 1.5 miles from Watkins Glen. (3315 County Road 28, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis.
There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and many historical sites to see. Our reviews tell it all. We know you'll love it here :)
*PLEASE NOTE: Our sites are custom made for TENT or CAR camping. Because we have "parking on-site", Large RVs, Campers (over 16'), and any 5th-wheel campers are very difficult to place since there are no easy ways to back in or turn around. This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. This is a great spot, very peaceful. Lots of room and all the hookups. As soon as you see their sign, take that left into the campground. Its 1 large spot. Owners were very responsive to my emails. I needed a quiet getaway w/ my dog and this was perfect. Keuka State park is only a few miles away. Enjoy!!

Bailee is a phenomenal host. Her communication goes above and beyond. An absolute pleasure to work with.
This was our fourth time at the site. We keep coming back for so many reasons - the privacy, the tranquility, the well manicured site, the large space, the proximity to everything, the awesome fire pit….. .
It’s extremely difficult to find another Hipcamp that is comparable.

We had a great stay at this campsite (3)! It’s a beautiful spot—surrounded by nature and with that classic “real camping” feel, which we really appreciated. All the utilities (water, electricity & sewage.) worked perfectly, which made the experience even more enjoyable and hassle-free. It was peaceful, well-kept, and just what we were hoping for. We had a great experience at Kari's. Kari's directions to the campsite were very helpful to avoid the low underpass and I really appreciated the sign when leaving the campsite as a reminder to avoid it. My camper should have fit with a few inches to spare, but why take the risk if you are provided with an alternate route? We had an easy time setting up due to the site being nearly perfectly level and the hookups being easily accessible. Our site was very clean and well maintained, offered a peaceful, relaxing place to stay and I can't wait to go back and explore more of what Watkin's Glen has to offer.

The land is absolutely beautiful! Sites are spacious and secluded from one another, but if you’re camping with a group, they aren’t too far away. We went with a group of 3 campers and it worked out well! Within minutes of Watkins Glen Park and the race track. Well worth the money! Jody and Kari made sure we had everything we needed and were ready to answer any questions we had. Would absolutely stay here again!

Kari and Jody have set up 3 great full hook up campsites close to all the action but far enough away to enjoy quiet and privacy. They also provided some great local info for places to see and grab a good meal. Easy access to the track, park, waterfalls and wine trail. We rented all 3 as a family trip but the sites have enough space that if you only rent one site it would still be a great place!
