Peaceful lean to getaway
Nice little camping area, quiet and peaceful, outhouse well maintained, fire pit is great right next to the leanto which is great for occasional unexpected showers. Pond is beautiful.

Serene spot in the woods
Nice campsite with sturdy, dry lean-to. We slept in hammock tents in strong trees. Very serene. Big fire pit with grill. Would stay again.

Lean-to in quiet forest
This spot was perfect for private and primitive type camping. It was a short walk down a well maintained trail to a beautiful pond where my dogs loved being. It was quiet, serene, and peaceful; I loved the sounds of nature all around me. The lean-to is right next to the fire pit, making for a cozy little spot to relax around the fire bug free. I will be back for sure.

Quiet retreat in the pines
We had a great time staying here! Storms rolled in earlier than expected and we were glad to have a roof over our heads. The kids kept raving about how this was "the BEST campsite EVER" and how we should camp here every night. There are some very nice paths through the pine forest to the pond, which we did not utilize but looked very swimmable. The site is nextdoor to the host's home but has its own private driveway and is nestled far back in the woods- you can't see or hear anything back there. The kids found toads and spotted salamanders in the woods and slept SO well to the sound of the rain on the metal roof. You can park right next to the shelter if you want to, and the outhouse is clean and comfortable. I absolutely recomment this spot!

Nice quiet spot, easy to get to. Rained a bit overnight and we loved having breakfast in the lean-to.
