We do have a few hobby farm animals on the property that would love a visit from you if you request it for your stay. Fantastic! We have been on the road camping for a month and a half, and Rick said this was his favorite site of all. No hookups, no road noise, just nature, and an amazing variety of birds, including at least one rare one (loggerhead shrike). So peaceful, and such gracious hosts. Left us some wood by the picnic table at the site. Would definitely come back and definitely recommend.

What a great place to unplug from electronics. The animals were so cute and peaceful. Travis was very accommodating and answered any questions we had. Many acres to roam, weather was amazing as was our site that we had. Many to choose from. Goats were so funny and donkeys were cute and sweet, we wanted to take one home. My one pup thought she was a baby goat I think, she fit right in their pen and hung out several times. Brought home some farm fresh eggs and hamburger for a very inexpensive price. Thank you Travis! Weekend Trip to Ham Lake Resort

The campgrounds were a very pleasant surprise. Very well maintained, clean, quiet at night, and the staff were all very friendly and wonderful (including maintenance guys who helped me with a plumbing leak issue). Nice petting zoo, dog play area, little beach on the lake, and trails around the grounds. Some RV spots are a little close together, but the overall grounds are large and spacious, so it didn't feel crowded. Kind of an under-the-radar hidden gem for the Twin Cities!

Absolutely loved the place such a beautiful area to camp and relax at! The hosts are super nice and friendly and are always a call away. We loved the all animals there, such a cool experience getting to meet the emu they had. Definitely a place I'd love to check out again. Would recommend for great family camping experience.
