Micro A-Frame Cabin

1 site · Lodging18 acres · Passadumkeag, ME
Tiny A-Frame Cabin on a personal wildlife preserve! Located a mile from the Passadumkeag River and three miles from the Penobscot River! Quiet Space! Come enjoy a 'Piece of my Peace!' Meadow Vista and Garden views With Composting Toilet, No Electricity and No Running Water! • The wall does lift up and down so you can be closed in if it rains but I leave it open most of the time to allow air flow. • There is a fire pit and two chairs available at the cabin for you to cozy up or cook your food. If you would like a wheel barrow full of firewood provided there is some available on site for a small donation. • There is a hammock with a shade cover at the cabin for you to use. • There is a bug net provided in the cabin if you're in need of some extra protection indoors. • Sunkhaze Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is a short drive with a few hiking trails. • Baxter State Park & Acadia National Park are each an hour and a half away (just in opposite directions). • A composting toilet is on site, with a scoop and bucket of sawdust to cover waste. I you need to pee, find a tree! If it's number two, use the loo! • No electricity at the cabin or on the property • No running or potable drinking water. Must bring in water. • The cabin is quite cozy for 1-2 people and/or 1-2 fur babies. The cabin itself has an 8x10’ floor plan with a full size futon. The deck gives another 3’ to enjoy your inside/outside stay. • The property DOES get full sun so be aware of finding shade throughout the day! I like to enjoy the river(s) and explore the area during the peak heat hours! • Mosquitos like to come out at dusk. I do have some citronella candles but it would be best if you came prepared with bug repellent! • There is a New tiny cabin construction on site! • This cabin is NOT private - one dwelling is visible but it is also NOT a rental. Please: no check-in's after 8pm! Thank you for understanding! I cannot control the weather. I just provide a super awesome place. I am always available to help make your stay top-notch! Without you, there is no me.

Tent site in North Maine Woods

1 site · Tent2 acres · Lincoln, ME
Learn more about this land:Tent site on 2 acres of land in Lincoln, ME! Close to all downtown amenities, and about 45 minutes to Katahdin National Park. Plenty of ATV trails, hiking, canoeing, and fishing on the Penobscot river. Natural spring containing pristine water at the end of the road that runs 24 hours a day. Gravel road on the way in. Perfect place to have fun and explore the Maine woods! Note: this area is still a work in progress. I live in MA so I come up rarely to maintain it. That being said, it is still a wonderful place to pitch a tent to sat for a few nights or to use as a basecamp to explore Katahdin or nearby areas. Please don’t hesitate to contact for more questions.

Healing Tree

6 sites · RVs, Tents7 acres · Orrington, ME
Here at Healing Tree, we have intentions of peace, love, and happiness while developing a positive connection with all life. This is a residential 7 acre property in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We live in the 5 bedroom old farmhouse where you can use the bathroom if needed (until the outdoor outhouse is built). There is one tiny home on the property that might be available to camp in soon or be rented via other sites. We have a new and developing veggie garden. There is a small stream and community fireplace by the 4 first come, first serve campsites at the rear of the property. A tent can be set up anywhere on the 7 acres and does not need to be in the designated campsite area. Car camping, van life and RVs also welcome! Another firepit is closer to the garden. There are some lightly wooded areas, apple trees, a pear tree, and open field for more future gardens. We are pet friendly and there are cats and a dog that currently live here. I am a Reiki Master and can potentially offer healing sessions if that is something you may be interested in. I also travel a lot as a DJ and audio tech and might not be here, but have a self check in process and video I will send. Also, roommates are generally here. Maine Savings Amphitheatre is 15 min away (concerts in Bangor). Acadia National Park is just over 1 hour away. Bangor and Bucksport are both about 15 min away. Fort Knox is about 20 min away. From the campsites here, the road and house are not visible. *At the moment, this is rustic camping in the yard. This is not a campground or upscale facility. Please be ready to be self sufficient and sustainable in any weather. Well water is available and passes all tests - pure and safe for drinking. I am very flexible and accommodating to ideas outside of "the box", just message me. There have been several wonderful campers who have stayed and enjoyed themselves, some have left amazing reviews. Thank You. We have hosted up to 20 people at once and as few as 1. Sometimes we get campers who are going to a concert in Bangor which is awesome. Any hours coming and going are fine! Enjoy a peaceful and private stay. 🙏
