This place is beautiful! It was great to have a place all to ourselves to let the dogs free roam and the kids run wild with no worries. There was plenty of firewood for us to use, a canopy over the picnic table, and a well stocked outhouse. All the things you need while still feeling like off grid camping. The river had great fishing in the evening, and was warm enough for us to wade in with the kids and dogs. We will definitely be back, and hope to make this a tradition!

incredible camp site. we had two large tents, plus a tented kitchen with tons of room left. being steps from the river was so great, especially with the heat we had. highly recommended. stunning spot!

Amazing camping gem on the river! Ample parking and plenty of space for several tents. Beautiful and scenic views! We went with our boys and their friends, famiky near by came to visit and fish! We had atvs and enjoyed riding! And I must say, that has to be the nicest outhouse we have ever seen! The campground is nice and groomed and kept up beautifully! Lots of wood provided! We can't wait to book again! Highly recommend!

Our second trip to Piscataquis Point was great. The river was nice and high. We saw a canoe go by which was quite the contrast from our trip in October after that long drought.
There were tons of Tiger Swallowtails puddling along the river banks and a double sunbow that made the quiet trip magical. Campsites are beautifully kept up, plenty of firewood, and the outhouse is clean and has a few handy things you might have forgotten.
The grill for the fire pit is sweet, we didn’t pack our propane grill this time because it was so convenient.
The host Kyle is very responsive to messages making it easy and stress free.

This spot is so beautiful! It’s private, peaceful and so far away from everyone. It was the perfect spot to unplug and unwind. My fiancé and I had originally booked it for one night but we extended it another night and canceled plans to camp anywhere else. The bathroom was so clean, bug spray available (thank god because we forgot ours) and wood on site. We loved this spot and plan to come back again soon 🙌❤️

This camp was absolutely amazing. Water was a bit high & fast for fly fishing, but it didn’t matter all that much. Spent most of Saturday in the tent due to rain, but it finally cleared up late afternoon. Will definitely book this site again.

We had all sorts of plans to explore the area, hiking, moose watching etc, but once we settled (and the rain stopped) all plans went out the window. We never left this beautiful spot, hanging out basically just watchin the river flow, with good food and good friends. Top 3 Hipcamps for us…go there!!!

Perfect place for couples, families, or friends to come together in a quiet and private camp on beautiful river spot. The fire pit with cook top were amazing and wood provided was more than enough for the cool October nights and mornings.
The camp is impeccable kept up, the bathroom is cleanest and neatest we have seen yet and we even got a magnet. Very thoughtful! Kyle’s metal work and brothers engraving can be seen throughout the campground giving it the touches it needs to set it above the rest.
We booked our next visit on our ride home.
We cannot wait to return to watch the eagles frolic and looking to catch their next meal in the river.
Kyle is very responsive to messages and directions were easy to follow.

This is our second trip here! Loved the site as always! River access was great even though the water was MUCH lower than the last time we visited. Provided wood and fireplace is a giant bonus! Weather was amazing minus one day with rain but had plenty of tree cover to help keep things dry. We saw bald eagles nesting across the river which was extremely cool! Easy to find, close to town! We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful location and well cared for. This is our third time here and looking forward to the next. We literally just stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed the river and relaxation. Best outhouse ever- anywhere! Love all the handmade fire pit pieces and picnic table. So much talent and creativity.

We had an amazing stay at this campsite! The view was absolutely beautiful, and the location felt so private—it was like having our own little slice of nature. Our two dogs had the best time exploring and relaxing, which made it even more special for us. The grounds were spotless, and the water was incredibly peaceful, perfect for unwinding. We also really appreciated that the bug situation was minimal, making our time outdoors so much more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is the perfect camp spot for any couple, family or group. The placement of the tent spots were perfectly chosen. This piece of heaven is perfectly maintained. The outgouse is probably the best I have ever used. We can't wait to return.

Our family had a wonderful experience at this campground! The grounds were private, clean, and calming, surrounded by beautiful birch and elm trees—definitely a nice change from the usual pine, so our gear stayed sap-free!
There was plenty of room to park multiple cars and set up a few tents. There was lots of firewood available, and the quiet atmosphere created a perfect setting for relaxing in our hammocks.
The river was extremely low while we were there, so we couldn't paddle or really swim, but we did take a dip to cool off from the hot temperatures.
It was just a quick 15-minute drive to pick up supplies at a small market in town, which was convenient. The owner has a nice craft shop just 5 miles away, where he sells his metalworks. You will see examples around the campsite–we recommend you stop by.
We would definitely book this site again and recommend to others!

My boyfriend and I have been to various campsites in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. This spot is now at the top of our list! It was very well maintained, the river was beautiful, and there were plenty of spots for tents. We highly recommend this spot!

Kyle's spot is gorgeous, unique, secluded and big- just what we we're hoping for. The water was warm and high. Everything was so clean, plenty of wood, and best of all our springer was able to just be a dog without bothering anyone.

We loved our stay at Piscataquis Point! We loved how private the campsite was, allowing our doggos to be off leash and enjoy the water with us all weekend. The layout of the campsite is beautifully done, and the outhouse is extremely clean which is a huge plus. We would definitely stay again and have already suggested the spot to others!

Clean and organized! You can tell the moment you step out of your vehicle that Kyle takes pride in the spot and put a lot of effort into making it comfortable for his guests. It was peaceful and very quiet. Definitely in the favorites list and will be going back.

Kyle's Piscataquis Point camp site was scenic and comfortable. While just off the road, it had a private feel. The pit toilet was clean, well lit at night, and had zero smell. We cooked on the fire pit grill and ate at the picnic table just a few short feet from the river. Falling to sleep with the sound of the river was magical. I would definitely recommend it!

Best Hipcamp ever. We are a repeat camper and this location is our favorite. Host is quick to respond and has perfected this roomy campsite. The location by this river is perfectly planned …so much so we are planning our next trip already. Love this place and we’ll… you can’t beat the best outhouse ever.. spot cleaned and nicely stocked….. Kudos to our hosts!
