We stopped by Randy's on our way to Baxter State Park! A-Frame was so cozy, clean and private!! Randy came out to greet us since we were having a little trouble getting here later at night. Very friendly. The outdoor shower is very cool and everything is well thought out. Would recommend to everyone and hope for the chance to come back.

The perfect combo option for a group where some wanted to tent camp and others prefer real beds! This site was incredibly spacious and well spaced from the other A frames and the bathroom was one of the nicest we've ever experienced while camping. This was our first time camping with our dog and Randy made it easy for us by supplying a cooler, water, fire starters and wood, etc. You're very close to Bangor, but you would never know it.
The only downside was that being nestled in the woods, it was extremely buggy - come prepared!

The cabin we stayed in at Randy’s was cozy and well kept. His property was easy to find with the directions he provided. It was very private and peaceful. We were impressed by his setup and would definitely stay there again.

Randy was so accommodating and flexible. He was very responsive to all our needs-
His property is great! We loved the brand new bathroom and the tiny A-frames had just the right amount of space for our stuff.
My son, our big pup and I slept comfortably.
We will definitely be back!

Randy was a really kind and accommodating host! The place was really cute and clean and I slept so well in such a peaceful environment. Its was a perfect place to stay after going to a concert in Bangor. Would definitely recommend!

Randy’s property is absolutely gorgeous and Randy is a happy, welcoming, and generous host. Cabins were easy to find, clean, and very cozy! We came back to Prescott after dark to find that Randy had left a pile of roots and small brush to help us start a fire after a bit of rain and he has dry firewood ($5) not too far from the cabins. Cabin was just the right size for sleeping - we had 2 dogs with us and they fit perfectly on the floor beside the bed. This was the perfect spot for a small getaway!

This space was amazing and truly special! The A-frame was comfortable and cozy with a window that opened. And it felt secure. I was traveling with a companion but would’ve felt comfortable as a solo female traveler. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it was rainy but it was a magical spot tucked away in the woods, can’t wait to come back and use it!
It was a quick 20 minute drive into Bangor and this made the perfect stopover for a show at Maine Savings.
Randy was amazing, great communication and he was so generous during our stay. Thank you!

Randy and Rebecca were so nice and inviting!! the a-frame was very cozy and adorable with a super comfy bed. there was ample room for a friend in a tent as well. Randy and Rebecca were kind enough to have a fire for us ready to go when we told them we’d be arriving a bit late. it was a more than comfortable stay and we had a great time 5/5

Unity A-frame was a wonderful spot surrounded by tranquility and beauty. Randy met us upon on arrival and was a gracious host. We stayed one very rainy night at Unity. We were warm and cozy throughout the night. I highly recommend this HipCamp and look forward to future stays here.

Randy's A-frame was a great little space to camp out in. Easy directions, not far off 95 and therefore easy to get to Orono (where I needed to be) & Bangor. Out the door of the A-frame was a large open space with some apple trees and a bunch of different crops in planter boxes, plus the wonderful smell of mown sweet grass. Good roads for running on rolling hills past farms, former farms, and wetlands out either side of the property, a quiet pond to kayak (and fish -- I wasn't fishing, but others were pulling in some pretty big bass) a short drive away. Randy was fantastic, showed me how some of his irrigation system (he has a natural spring on the property) works. Great view of the open sky. Little to no traffic sounds.
This trip was in his one A-frame that's in service currently, but he's intending to expand. The other A-frames were tucked back and were much more private; this one was in sight of Randy's cabin, but this meant he was available if anything came up.
