My spot was very pretty and Craig was super helpful. A porta-potty would have been nice as a tent camper. The host was a little distrustful of people in town. It would improve the experience of he had partnerships with businesses in town.

The Point is an amazing and beautiful place. Craig is a great person and will go out of his way to make your stay at The Point an awesome and rememberable experience. I had a fantastic time and would recommend it to anyone. I give it 5 stars and will be back soon. Thank you so much Craig.

The Point was great. River is really close by. Craig is awesome. He is very friendly and helpful. Our campsite had trees and bushes on the sides giving privacy. We will definitely be back. Thanks Craig!!

It was very relaxing which made it easy for me to slow down, stroll to the point or follow some fun trails. I like the fact that there are no amenities to rely on but you still feel safe. Craig was around for the campers that needed him but left you alone if that was your preference.

The Point was so awesome! Craig is nice, responsive, easy going and most helpful. He even had well priced camp supplies available for purchase or there's a large store with-in walking distance. Our group of 8 had a wonderful, relaxing 2 night stay. Plenty of space at camp plus additional open/shared areas to play. The most gorgeous exploring. We will be back! Thank you for an awesome camp trip Craig!

The host at this site was awesome - well worth it knowing he was so helpful!
It mentions that the river is accessible for paddleboards but while we were there the river wasn't high enough for this (August). There was also a decent size power plant right on or near the property. Just a heads up.
We fished in the river and rode bikes on the wide open grassy spaces. The kids had a great time exploring the hiking trails and catching crawdads in the river!

He was very nice. Good to remember this is a rustic spot with a loud train. The water was fun, Craig was super. We left early just because. No reason. Very dusty without toilets. Come prepared

We had a wonderful time at The Point. The host Craig was attentive and friendly. The site was private and woodsy. Access to the river was easy and close. There was also easy and close access to relaxing and rejuvenating hikes in the woods! Fantastic experience all around!

The host, Craig, was exceptionally accommodating and was able to fit our larger group last minute. Loved sitting in the river catching crawdads and fishing. Dogs enjoyed running and playing. Clean campground, some really great private spots, and located near store that carries all sorts of everything. Wonderful place to get away. We hope to return soon. Fabulous first Hipcamp experience. Thank you, Craig, for a great (and affordable) weekend!

The site was fine. Craig was a very helpful host. People were great and it is very kid and dog-friendly. The access to the river and the trails are very nice. Unfortunately the night we were there was noisy - people arriving late and vehicles passing our site till well after midnight. Earplugs would probably be helpful unless you are fully enclosed.

My daughter, our dog and I had an amazing stay at the point. Beautiful, peaceful campground and Craig was beyond helpful and even helped us with some first aid supplies when we needed it.

I called Craig to ask a question regarding the property, he was of no help, began shouting and using profanity.
We chose not to stay at The Point because his behavior was volatile and it seemed unsafe to stay there.

3rd outing at The Point and it never disappoints! Brought 2 friends and 3 dogs along this time and it was awesome! Craig was as responsive as always! Super accommodating for our friend who just had knee replacement a month ago! Can't say enough about The Point! We will definitely be back again!

Craig was cool as hell. Laid back and chill individual really cares for his guests, went around and asked if we needed anything, gave us a few pointers of the area, and a few laughs as well. Thanks for awesome stay Craig.

We only had one night but Craig was so nice and available for anything that we needed. The property is really sweet and can’t wait to go back on a sunny day. Also loooooved his dog!

Craig’s a good dude. It’s on a cool piece of land with water access to cool down on those hot summer days. Grocery stores right across the street too! Highly recommend.

Host met at entrance, and took me around on an ATV to look at sites. Was very helpful and offered assistance with everything.
We just stayed overnight on our way home. Property was nice and big, although with our 24ft trailer, we opted for the large field instead of the smaller individual campsites.
Lots of blackberries to pick on property. We didn't go down to the creek/river. Nearby train tracks quite active during the day, less so at night. Dollar General store right across street, so can walk to for any stuff you need.

THE POINT
We had an amazing time at The Point this past weekend celebrating a birthday. Craig was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed to make our trip run smooth. We were able to let our dogs roam free in our campsite and they had the best time! I definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a dog-friendly place with hosts that make you feel more than welcome. We will be coming back soon :)

Craig was a good host. When we got to the property, he showed us few spots we can choose from, in the end, we went with the spot he recommended which didn’t have any privacy (which we didn’t mind) but big enough to fit 6 adults and 2 kids with plenty of room. The property had a hiking trail and a river you can swim, and fish in. Craig drove around and checked up on us few times. We also got to meet Craig’s dog that some people reviewed about, the dog did roam around the property freely but he was a sweet boy. Overall it was a good place to camp.

Beautiful river! At the end of the row of tent sites there’s a beautiful spot where two rivers come together. If you walk up the river on the right you’ll get to an even more beautiful spot, with a huge swimming area and small waterfall. We brought chairs and food down there and hung out all day. Water was warm for the NW. there is a train nearby and some of us heard the horn at night, but after a long day of swimming and sun it wasn’t too bad. We had the group tent site and there was plenty of room for the 11 of us.

Beautiful river spot!
Well maintained, clean camp sites with a minute walk to a stunning river and walking trail. Host Craig was extraordinarily accommodating and the spot is 100% dog friendly! Our fur babies loved it

Perfect place for dogs and kids to explore. We had a blast letting the dogs run free on the field and down by the water. Our host was very nice and helpful. Will be back!
