Camp in the Great North Woods with Mountain Views The actual address is 18 Overlook Drive, but it's not in Google Maps or the GPS so set your GPS to Egg Pond Rd, then take your first left up the gravel hill until you see the quonset hut on the right, then turn into Skyview Domes on the left side of the road. • 8-acre property with a 30 ft. RV, two geodesic dome glampsites, and one tent campsite. • Near ATV trails • Close to 13 lakes • Near Baxter State Park (less than an hour away) • Adirondack chairs • Firepits • Fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector • Walking trails on the property • Bring your ATV — the trail is right up the road • Bring your boat — the lake is right down the street • Stargaze in this dark-sky zone • Hunt or fish on nearby lakes or the Penobscot River

Camo Tent in the Great North Woods

Dome · Sleeps 2 · 1 bedroom · 2 beds
This tent is located on a large flat gravel pad next to our open field. It's rated for 5 people, but with the cots, I think two people is best. It is a four-season tent, which means that it has double walls and a wood stove for heat. Guests should bring warm clothes and warm sleeping bags in cold seasons. Guests will have access to walking trails on our 8-acre property. Parking is available near the tent location. No bathroom or shower. Amenities: Composting Toilet LED light 2 cots 2 chairs firepit I would plan to bring anything else you think you will need, including sleeping bags, cooking supplies, food, and drinking water. Guests may bring a boat or ATV trailer, as there are lakes and trails nearby.
