Lovely spot behind our home, available to travelers for tenting or RV. A safe place to stay as you're stopping through. Exactly 4.8 miles from the 295 off-ramp and Route 1. A private wooded lot on a road with farms and woodland. Some road noise from Middlesex road during commuting times that quiets down for sleeping. Topsham is lovely and I'm grateful to live here and share this space with travelers! My site is designed to be low-priced, easy in-out, and a convenient stop-over for the traveler. Learn more about this land: Camping area is ~1 acre. Total property size is 3.5 acres. Keep on property please. Water and respite available here for a day or two, if this area is your destination or if you're on the road toward an adventure. A single private site. We are not a campground, this is the back part of our land that we hope to offer as respite and safety for travelers looking for this kind of place to stay. We give absolute privacy to campers in the hours 4pm-11am. Please consider that we might be on the lower property during the middle of the day: 11am-4pm, which matches most of our visitors needs as they are using the property as an evening and morning stopover. Fires are not allowed when the fire danger is High through Extreme. We will talk about fire safety if the danger level is Moderate. Thanks for being safe! Things to do in area: Midcoast Maine has an endless bounty of treasures for visitors in all seasons. Hiking, biking, boating, history, art, swimming, food, and cultural events with beautiful nature surrounding it all.  Closest to site: The Tarbox Preserve, a Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust property with hiking and skiing, is 2 lots up the road. The lovely Head of Tide park with a small waterfall is 2.2 miles to the west. Grocery: Our towns (Topsham and Brunswick) have several grocery stores: Hannaford, Shaw's, Market Basket, and a wonderful natural foods store.  We have many farm stands with organic and locally grown produce closely nearby - ask us to help you locate them! Food: Brunswick is restaurant and brewery heaven! Amazing beers, wood fired pizza, sushi, Thai, Vietnamese, Greek, German, Filipino, deli, Fusion and more! Harpswell Heritage Land Trust trails are dog-friendly and on the beautiful Maine coast.

When this area was originally settled, the farm was located on the "highway" from Camden to seasonal pastures in Lincolnville. The trails leading to the park still go by the old foundations that dotted the old Government Road from Camden. The farm has 46 acres of flowing pasture, hardwood forest and flower and vegetable gardens. Should you need or want access to more, it’s a short drive to the larger towns of Norway and Bridgton, about an hour to Portland, and approximately 45 minutes to North Conway, New Hampshire, and the White Mountains. A 5- to 20-minute drive will take you to beautiful scenic hikes, cozy lake beaches, and meandering rivers where you can float or fish. WELCOME to lovely Happy Hippie Lane ME Get your "groove" on or hang loose here on a precious little island with a big bridge just off route one in the heart of Midcoast. Hundreds of guests report the perfect balance of upbeat fun and chill time and call our place and hospitality "magic", "amazing" and "holy guacamole!" It is a lovely spot just off the beaten path but close enough to access the frey. :) I welcome my guests personally and have likely had a chat before you booked. I like to know what your hopes and priorities are around your stay before I accept so I can meet both of our needs. When you arrive, I will greet you and share a little history/tour of the place. I accept travelers between 4 and 9 pm but like all of us schedules fluctuate and we can roll some. There's a strong chance on an average Maine clear summer evening, I have the campfire going and the solar lights around the yard are charged for their evening gentle show. All of the spaces I rent are bedrooms only. You walk a few steps/yards to my 5 bedroom home and access two showers and some kitchen use. I also have an outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen that is cute and for your use. It's fun to cook on the fire too! I prefer folks to limit cooking esp in hot weather but support healthier eating and may share some of my foraging tips. The rooms are equipped with plenty of linens and fan power. You will be cozy either way the temps go. There is a lovely porch on the log home where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and lots of wildlife activity. The back yard has tether ball and lots of seating as well as the good sized fire pit with ghosts of hundreds of fireside chats gone by. I look forward to ours! Next door there is a gravel road on a lightly traveled road for your walking or biking pleasure. I am happy to join you in a hilly roller coaster cycling experience and have a few bikes to offer up. I am a WWOOF host and have occasional "helpers" and you are welcome to explore my veggie and flower gardens. We were greeted by James and his adorable children we met Adrienne on the last day. Very adorable family! we purchased farm fresh eggs from Junie. We enjoyed the family story and how they built the tiny home and how their family uses and plans to use their beautiful farm. Was definitely an experience and we felt comfortable. Neat quiet wooded place. Host has new electric hookup and dump station, both need a bit of a tweak to make more usable, which host was glad for feedback to make more usable. Would book there again as was easy to access a lot of places on Mt Desert Is. and was away from the busy areas.

I stayed here for a few nights on my way to Acadia and it was a great place to stay. The farm was so cute. It was very easy getting into the spot and the water and electricity hook ups were conveniently located. My dog loved the enclosed orchard space for running around. Cheryl and her family were very nice and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful location - sites 1-3 are right on the river (we didn’t get a good look at site 4). We stayed at site 3 because we needed an electric hook-up. Sites have a bit of distance between and are very well kept. Dusty was a great friendly host. He was a delight to talk to and very helpful. We would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves anywhere nearby.

Easy to find and plenty of room! We came in late after a concert in Portland and the signs were easy to follow. Parked our Class B camper with ease and pulled in and out. Nothing fancy, but it’ll do!!

This was an exceptionally beautiful stay! The cabin is located in a beautiful secluded space, with a wonderful firepit, a well-designed outhouse, and a relaxing enclosed sofa space. The cabin itself is so homely and has all the necessities that you need for a great weekend away. I would wholly recommend this stay.

This was an excellent private site! The pad was level and made setting up easy, once you navigate through the somewhat tight driveway. Dan was a great host, was very quick with communication. The water/sewer/electric hookups were clutch. The proximity to the walking trails around Lake Auburn were fantastic. Had a great short two night stay, and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Weekend Trip to Spacious Skies Walnut Grove Campground

Great little cabin! We came with our 5.5 month and dog. Was plenty of space for a pack and play that we brought and a dog bed. It was at the end of the row and there weren’t any rvs or campers for a few spaces so it felt like more private. Cabin was very clean. We rented linens for $10 from them and they were clean and comfy. Came with a fridge, tv, ac, and heater, fire pit, picnic table, water, and electricity. Fire wood for sale at office along with a bunch of other useful things in the store. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

This is a small but cozy and thoughtfully laid out campground. The shared bathrooms were clean and the community cabin had just about everything one would need for camp cooking. Easy walking distance to Conary Cove for some beautiful sunrise/sunset views.

Great spot to have easy access to a wonderful bathroom laundry set up and somewhere to charge up. Very nice folks. There was a flood light on the property that stayed on overnight so bring a sleep mask if you’re light sensitive.
