This cabin is booked up 95 percent for the season. Ellie's location allows easy access to both the Mount Desert Island section of Acadia and the Schoodic Peninsula section. Well behaved dogs/pets are allowed on the site for $7 per pet per night. If you would like to bring a pet, please add a pet fee which is listed as an extra during the booking process. All pets on site must be leashed at all times, no exceptions. Campfires are allowed on this site when winds are under 10 mph. Check local weather first. We continue to provide free, locally grown, organic firewood in order to combat inflation and help you stretch your vacation dollar. While Ellie's doesn't have direct water access, there are many shoreline points of access close by. Beaches and water access are everywhere. Wide open space does exist. Come explore the Maine coast. Commuter traffic can be seen and heard from Ellie's RV spot. State route 204 funnels park visitors to Acadia and the MDI area. In 2024 nearly 4 million people visited the Acadia area. Slow down, plan ahead and be patient. 2025 update: You can purchase your park pass online and print it before you arrive. Reservations for Cadillac Mountain are now required due to overcrowding. We have one security camera located on the main fence. This is for your protection as well as ours. For winter stays please send a request before booking. We have 30 or 50 amp electric and sewer only from Nov 1 ~ April 30. Water, wifi and trash removal are suspended for the winter. Snow might prevent access during some weeks. Request first!

*Please read full description before booking. Please be aware, this is rustic camping in the yard. This is not a campground or upscale facility. Welcome to Lilac Firefly! This is a residential 7 acre property in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We are right off the main road for easy access about 15-20 minutes south of Bangor. It is very peaceful and calm here. We live in the 5 bedroom older farmhouse where you can use the bathroom if needed. You will receive a code for the electronic door lock. There is a small stream and community fireplace by the 4 campsites and another fireplace closer to the garden. The designated campsites are at the rear of the property and are first come, first serve. A tent can be set up anywhere on the 7 acres and does not need to be in the designated campsite area. We have easily acomodated 20+ canpers at once (6-8 groups), though typically you might be the only group here. Car camping, van life, and RVs are welcome! There are some lightly wooded areas, apple trees, a pear tree, and an open field. We are pet friendly and there animals that live here that won't bother you. I also travel a lot as a DJ and audio tech and might not be here, but have a self check in process and video I will send. Roommates are generally here. Maine Savings Amphitheatre is 15 min away (concerts in Bangor). Acadia National Park is just over 1 hour away. Bangor and Bucksport are both about 15 min away. Fort Knox is about 20 min away. From the campsites, the road and house are not visible. We have flowers when in season, deer, turkey, birds, and friendly creatures that visit. Please be ready to be self sufficient and sustainable in any weather. Well water is available at the RV posts and passes all tests - pure and safe for drinking. RV parking may need to be arranged with myself. For RVs, Electric hook up is 30amp and an extra $10/day. Water hook up is $5/fill. Chopped, split, and dried wood (pine) is available included in your Hipcamp fee! You can burn what you need for the day/night. Thank you. Pajaritaflora Artist Studio/Gallery is located here. I am an artist. Welcome to my studio property. There is a long spacious spot for most sizes RV. It has level grass for you to park on. There is a group fire pit area on the grounds for everyone. Many people do not need electricity these days. So I have lowered the price of the spot. It is without electricity. You can add it on if you wish at $20 per night. You will need a long extension, and it is 20 amps. I have water for your holding tank. Sorry, no sewer. This is an excellent spot for a short stay. It is good if you need to be here a couple of days prior to your campground stay! I have been enjoying hosting campers here for the past two seasons. I can't wait to meet you! This is my third season here.

Shower is located at the cabins. We are located 2 miles from Route 1 Milbridge and about 2 miles from Route 1A Milbridge and we just fixed the Old County Road and the parking area and the road is settling from being fixed but low cars have been making into the parking area with no problems. The paths are primitive and not suited for people who have trouble walking on uneven ground. We provide solar lights, propane stove, propane, natural bug spray, battery bank charger, 1 small bottled water per guests and sleeping bags. Heat provided from Oct 1 to April 30. No Out of State Maine Firewood. No water at the shower from October 15 to April 30 because of the frost.

Well behaved dogs/pets are allowed on the site for $7 per pet per night. If you would like to bring a pet, please add a pet fee which is listed as an extra during the booking process. All pets on site must be leashed at all times, no exceptions. Campfires are allowed on this site when winds are under 10 mph. Check local weather first. We continue to provide free, locally grown, organic firewood in order to combat inflation and help you stretch your vacation dollar. While Ellie's doesn't have direct water access, there are many shoreline points of access close by. Beaches and water access are everywhere. Wide open space does exist. Come explore the Maine coast. Commuter traffic can be seen and heard from Ellie's RV spot. State route 204 funnels park visitors to Acadia and the MDI area. In 2024 nearly 4 million people visited the Acadia area. Slow down, plan ahead and be patient. 2025 update: You can purchase your park pass online and print it before you arrive. Reservations for Cadillac Mountain are now required due to overcrowding. This is a residential 7 acre property in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We are right off the main road for easy access about 15-20 minutes south of Bangor. It is very peaceful and calm here. We live in the 5 bedroom older farmhouse where you can use the bathroom if needed. You will receive a code for the electronic door lock. There is a small stream and community fireplace by the 4 campsites and another fireplace closer to the garden. The designated campsites are at the rear of the property and are first come, first serve. A tent can be set up anywhere on the 7 acres and does not need to be in the designated campsite area. We have easily acomodated 20+ canpers at once (6-8 groups), though typically you might be the only group here. Car camping, van life, and RVs are welcome! There are some lightly wooded areas, apple trees, a pear tree, and an open field. We are pet friendly and there animals that live here that won't bother you. I also travel a lot as a DJ and audio tech and might not be here, but have a self check in process and video I will send. Roommates are generally here. Maine Savings Amphitheatre is 15 min away (concerts in Bangor). Acadia National Park is just over 1 hour away. Bangor and Bucksport are both about 15 min away. Fort Knox is about 20 min away. From the campsites, the road and house are not visible. We have flowers when in season, deer, turkey, birds, and friendly creatures that visit. Please be ready to be self sufficient and sustainable in any weather. Well water is available at the RV posts and passes all tests - pure and safe for drinking. RV parking may need to be arranged with myself. For RVs, Electric hook up is 30amp and an extra $10/day. Water hook up is $5/fill. Chopped, split, and dried wood (pine) is available included in your Hipcamp fee! You can burn what you need for the day/night. Thank you. We absolutely loved our stay at Four Acre Woods Campground. If anything we wish we had stayed longer! The campsite was out on a very quiet island, truly not too far from our outings. We stayed on the primitive secluded site which was absolutely perfect. It was very spacious, with tons of privacy, located steps away from the community cabin. We wish we had more time to enjoy the community cabin as it was warm, filled with books, games, cookware, utensils, lanterns, ice, tea, coffee, local guides and cozy sofas. Our campsite additionally had a private walk way to the bathrooms, which we were pleasantly surprised by for a campsite! The shower was equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash if needed, and the bathroom was as clean as you could possibly expect a campsite bathroom to be! Firewood was easy to purchase and bring over to our campsite which we appreciated. The hosts were very kind and helpful and we truly hope to be back again next year to hopefully spend a much longer stay at the four acre woods and get a chance to experience the onsite sauna :) thanks so much for having us! Would 110% recommend. (Ps. Just beware of deer and wildlife on the drive in, it is deer isle after all ;) )

I can’t say enough great things about this spot! My dog and I stayed for two and a half months and easily could have stayed twice as long. -The location is perfect — tucked in a residential area that offers plenty of privacy and peace, yet surrounded by friendly neighbors so it never feels isolated. You’re close to everything: most Acadia trails on Mount Desert Island are within a 25-minute drive, with many even closer (10-15 minutes). Bar Harbor is just 10 minutes away, offering great restaurants, shops, boat tours, and more. -The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable — I work remotely full-time from my rig and never had a single issue, even with constant Zoom and Teams video meetings. -Scott, the host, is fantastic — friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming, with excellent local recommendations. -It’s also a dog-friendly spot. There’s plenty of grassy space for short walks, and the lawn was mowed weekly, which I really appreciated. -The full hookups were in excellent condition and worked perfectly. There’s even a garden hose attached to the water line for convenience. -Parking was a breeze — the site is spacious and easy to maneuver into no matter the size of your rig. I live in a 30-foot Airstream and had no trouble backing in at all. Overall, this was one of my favorite stays — private, convenient, well-maintained, and hosted by someone who truly cares. Highly recommend!

I spent three nights in the cozy barn tucked close to the wolves, and it was incredible drifting off to the sound of their howls at night. Quarrys Ledge was wonderful ! From the hospitable staff to the beautiful grounds, we had a great stay! The bathrooms were definitely note worthy as well, always clean and stocked. We stayed in a waterfront site which was definitely worth the extra money in my opinion. However, even the other campsites looked great. I also love that they gave an option to add firewood to the reservation - saved us a trip to the store! I highly recommend and would come back again!

This campground was the perfect place for us "home" during our fall visit to Acadia. We are a self-contained unit when we are on the road. That being said, it was nice to hook upto power and refill our water tank during our stay. It was also nice to have hot showers available. The campground was quiet at night. I slept well at night. The site was very close to all of the hikes on MDI. Some just down the road, trailheads no more than a 30 minute drive away. The site firm ground and fairly level. Perfect for our campervan. Being on the westside of MDI, it is away from the constant traffic that you face near Bar Harbor. We would recommend staying here.
