The cabin will be designed with a mini split heating and air system, in the future. WiFi is not currently available though an amenity that is upcoming in the very near future, fiber internet being installed mid July 2025. Cell phone access is good in our area typically. Red River Rewind has common shared amenities to include: a 3/4 acre fully stocked pond which is available for simply viewing its beauty as the fountain flows, or catch and release fishing as seasonally available, many family and friend oriented activities to choose from to check out and return such as cornhole, large checkers, and many more. As time and weather permits, we plan to expand with really neat projects and extras in upcoming months, and would love to have visitors passing through our beautiful area who need or want a place to stay or locals who just want a little change of scenery. Red River Rewind is a small glamping community that is themed off of the owner’s passion for different genre music, vintage, antique history and memorabilia. Currently still a work in progress, we offer a customized bell tent which sits on a 20 x 30 platform deck, with a customized, insulated, fully functioning outhouse which has a shower, commode, and sink that allows endless hot water. “Elvira” is our cozy small cabin. Both have electricity, and water, and full bathroom accessibility at their own site. “Hey Jude” also offers a small wood burning stove to accommodate for cooler temperatures with an Eden pure heater, and fans for warmer weather days, and mobile AC. ELVIRA has a window AC unit and heating with small unit. The customized fully furnished bathroom just steps away from the tent, offers endless hot water. There is also a water spicket just a few steps away from the deck. Note that should the wood stove want to be used, guests need to supply their own SMALL pieces of wood as it is a miniature fireplace. The cabin will be designed with a mini split heating and air system, in the future. WiFi is not currently available though an amenity that is upcoming in the very near future, fiber internet being installed mid July 2025. Cell phone access is good in our area typically. Red River Rewind has common shared amenities to include: a 3/4 acre fully stocked pond which is available for simply viewing its beauty as the fountain flows, or catch and release fishing as seasonally available, many family and friend oriented activities to choose from to check out and return such as cornhole, large checkers, and many more. As time and weather permits, we plan to expand with really neat projects and extras in upcoming months, and would love to have visitors passing through our beautiful area who need or want a place to stay or locals who just want a little change of scenery. We are simple, ordinary people who just want to share some of the things we love about life with others. On a clear note, there are beautiful images of the stars here. You will also have accessibility to a telescope.

Mawhe Acres Camping Retreat has two primitive camp sites just inside the tree line of an open field, each with a 16' x 16' crushed limestone pad for tents. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and access to a compost toilet (in outhouse). There is no potable water or electric. However, for a nominal fee, we can provide a water hose to the campsite. There's easy access with the ability to drive through the field to the campsite or guests can walk in with their gear from driveway. We're fine with car camping too - we just want to keep things as natural as possible. Mawhe Acres - a 25 acre farm, much of which is raw land and woods in their natural state, undeveloped and not farmed for decades - is an official National Wildlife Federation® (NWF) Certified Wildlife Habitat™ site. NWF recognizes our commitment to sustainably providing the essentials of wildlife habitat - natural sources of food, water, cover and places to raise young. The abundant wildlife around includes deer, squirrels, red foxes, turkeys, chipmunks, groundhogs, raccoons, opossums, woodpeckers, owls, and birds of prey (mostly red-tailed hawks and vultures). We have a small lake with good fishing and acres of woods to explore. There are some footpaths for easier walking. We want to share our beautiful land for our guests to enjoy taking in the sights and sounds of the forest which can help you relax. In fact, it’s possible that time in the great outdoors can boost both your mental and physical health. For example, the science on "forest bathing" (also called "forest therapy") makes a convincing argument that spending time communing with nature can improve stress, anxiety and depression. 1 night at Red River Gorge Glamping & Cabins

This was my first glamping experience and I simply loved it! The yurts looked more magical on site and we had a cozy bonfire and toasted marshmallows by the fire. Me and my friends are glad we chickened out of camping and did glamping instead because it provided us more comfort and coziness than camping. We woke up to horses running around near the area and had another fire. Totally worth the trip!

What a great place! Doesn’t show its glory until you go around the barn to park/hook up, then wow! Rolling hills. Horses. Pounds with ducks. Beautiful. Best sunrise in a long time. AND: Driving up -go slow and take the third gate just like she says. Do NOT go too far -it is a long, winding, hilly, narrow road to get back (took an hour in the dark, dark, dark night). So glad we found this place!

I loved tent camping here at the beautiful Majestic Views! Instructions were very clear and the host, Jamie, was very helpful. I didn't plan a great time to go weather-wise, and it was raining pretty much from the time I arrived to when I left the next day. Still, I was determined to see my camping trip through after the drive down there and I ended up having a great time. Jamie let me stay at a spot where they was a small shelter which some hay bales were being kept under, so I was able to pitch my tent under there and avoid getting soaked. Ended up having a very cozy little set up there right next to the pasture where the horses were out. Despite being in view of the farmhouse, the spot was still very private and secluded. What a gorgeous place- the rolling hills, autumn trees, and even the grey, rainy sky were stunning. Was able to enjoy a very peaceful night. In the morning, I got to hang out a bit with one of the dogs who came down to my camping spot and ended up staying for a while- much to my joy! Very close to the Natural Bridge park so I went hiking the next day after checkout. Thank you Jamie, I hope to be back again sometime when it isn't quite as rainy!
