We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve. We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. Your GPS may tell you to turn at the wrong St. Make sure that you are turning at 244th...Your GPS may tell you to turn at 243rd Street (where the Orange Market it) which is a dead end street. Just go a little bit further until you see the sign for Camp Seminole Spring. Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance. We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking. Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path. This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you. We allow campfires. Don't be surprised if you see a monkey or two in the trees... The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit. We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world. This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek. Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim. At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water. The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach. We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

Parking is only available at the bottom of the driveway for tent campers. All tent sites are less than a 5 minute hike up the trails. There is plenty of firewood available after 3 hurricanes in a year's time. The Bird Ranch is 4 acres of peaceful nature. We have 3 pioneer sites (2 with fire pits), and one RV hook-up (30 Amp power and water) to choose from. We never really know what wildlife is wondering around or when they might pop up. Rest assure though; there are always birds singing, crickets chirping, frogs croaking, owls hooting, and we can even hear the neighboring pigs, chickens, cows, goats and dogs from time to time. I will take all that over city noise any day of the week! The Gofer Turtles are protected wildlife here, but please do not disturb ANY of the animals or their homes. We have had kids destroy a turtle's home before, so please be mindful. The property has trails, an open field for games, and plenty of day outings to do. There are 2 natural springs (Royal Springs and Little River Springs) off the Suwannee River that are each a 10-minute drive. Branford Springs and Troy Springs are within 20 minutes. You can float down the Ichetucknee River on an innertube (seasonal), catch a local rodeo just down Hwy 129 or take a 3 hour round trip bike ride on the Suwannee River Greenway. The Mystic Jungle Educational Facility is a quick 15 minutes up Hwy 129 towards Live Oak, where you can learn about their wild animals on a guided tour, but they are only open on Saturdays. Cedar Key is a quiet little town 1.5 hours away with cute shops and restaurants for a nice day trip ***(also very messed up from hurricanes last year, so no promises)***. They roll up the streets after sunset; but what a beautiful sunset! There are also a few horseback riding ranches within 20 minutes from the property and if you're really adventurous and want to ride a camel; Lonesome Chicken Camel Ranch is less than an hour away. Call ahead to make sure they are open. Please be courteous of your fellow campers and my neighbors, by adhering to a 10 pm noise maintenance.

Great place to take the family for an adventure. Easy access to the Florida Trail. Highly recommend checking out Disappearing Creek, which about a 15 min hike from camp. The propery is large and very private. The campsite is approximatley 1000 ft from the river. You can drive down to the river, although the bank fairly steep. A golf cart or four wheeler would make it easier to get to the beach, where you can launch paddle craft, fish, and swim. There is a large pole barn to shelter in during bad weather. It has a table with chairs, a small kitchen sink and table. Power is available at near the fire ring and in the screened room with a hammock. I recommend bringing an extension cord. Shout out to Jerry for providing firewood for a nominal fee. The bathroom and shower are a big plus. The river is a 5 min walk from the campsite, the beach is around 7 min. Janet was a great host and was in touch daily, making sure that we got the most out our experience. The listing does accurately describe the campsite.

We escaped Black Friday madness by spending the long Thanksgiving weekend at Kim's place. Boy are we glad we did! The site is beautiful, private & secluded, and full of wildlife. There were three generations of us primitive camping here with plenty of room for everyone... 4 vehicles and four tents, no problem. We even managed to launch a kayak down the steep stairway without too much hassle. There was more than plenty of downed firewood available, so It was really cool having two fires going at once! We had the main campfire for sitting around, warming ourselves, and telling stories, and the cook fire off to the side at the "grill station." The camp bathroom was a nice bonus that the girls in our group really appreciated! Although trekking along the river bank here is not recommended for inexperienced hikers (the banks are steep and the cypress knees are a trip hazard), those that do will be rewarded with endless views of high sandy bluffs and peacefully flowing waters that take you back in time. Our only complaint was that the noise from the nearby interstate reminded us that we can't fully escape the steady hum of civilization, but Kim's place still comes pretty close!!

Good rustic setting. Small farm with lotsa goats. Probably not for very big rigs. Main house is kinda close but you should still be able to get some privacy. Owners were gone while we were there. I'd reach out early just to make sure they are home before you stay. Both spots have full power/water/sewer.

This is a fantastic spot, easy access to the Suwannee River and to the spring at Little River. Plenty of space for two tents and a hammock. The back opens to a large tract of uninhabited woods, so it feels very private. We drifted in a canoe and paddleboard from Little River Springs to Branford, it was a great way to see the Suwannee and took under two hours (Suwannee level extremely low, 7.6 ft at Branford). Located on the spring fed Santa Fe River just upstream from the crystal clear Ichetucknee River. We offer two covered RV pads with full 50/30 amp; water/sewage hook ups. Price is for one RV site. Tent camping is only allowed in addition to a RV or travel trailer as there are no bathroom facilities. Contact us for details and to reserve the second covered site for larger groups of extended family and friends. Enjoy kayaking and swimming in the Santa Fe and Ichetucknee rivers or relaxing on our covered boat dock (the private boat ramp is 1.5 mi away). Don't have a kayak, don't worry, you can rent one of ours. Use one of three fire pits included with the space or cook a meal down by the water on the park quality in-ground charcoal grill. Access to the neighborhood parks is included. Hodor (drop off) and Point park (pick up) are on the Ichetucknee river for private tube runs. Access to dock may be limited during extreme high water. Bring your boat and explore the many springs on the Santa Fe and Suwanee rivers. Invite your friends and family to this one-of-a-kind property! We were lucky enough to buy our slice of paradise when the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the river. My riverside Gazebo came with the property and I am delighted to share it with campers. Learn more about this land: Our pet friendly (2 dog maximum) G Spot, Ginny’s Gazebo, offers a unique outdoor experience with some of the amenities of home. Primitive camping amenities include a pop-up port-a-potty, potable water tank, charcoal grill, picnic table, Tiki torches and a firepit. Arrangements can be made with Jerry Pierre, the River Concierge, for tents, river inner tubes, transportation, ice and anything else you might need to make your stay a pleasant one. Fish from our banks, swim in the river, float downriver in a tube from our own launch, and hike along the clearly marked Orange-blazed Florida Trail with bird watching, sunbathing on sugar sand beaches, meditating on our riverbank Zen deck and roasting marshmallows around a roaring campfire, await you at our private and exclusive retreat. Folk and music festivals throughout the year are within a 15-minute drive. Go on eco-adventures, dine alfresco  or just spend the day in a hammock  watching the river go by. No electricity, internet or TV connections, so you can unplug from your devices if you wish and get away from it all.

Located on the Suwannee River, the campground sits on 62 acres of beautiful nature. My brother and I got the property in April of 2017.
