It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

This is shared space although we will always ensure your privacy and will do our best to stay out of your personal space throughout your stay. We are 420 friendly and don't mind well behaved pets as long as you assume all responsibility, are careful with them and clean up after yourselves. Quiet time 10pm-8am. The property is geared more toward adults as many of our plants are poisonous, sharp or have dangerous spines, especially if wandering off the main paths and walkways. Safety is a priority; because of this, we ask that you do not touch our plants and stay on the main paths and walkways when enjoying the property. The RV parking site has a 50 amp (30 amp adapter) RV power hook-up. There is also a 15-amp outlet (120V) at the site you can use as well. There is potable/city water hook-up, but no blackwater sewer services or blackwater dumping on the property. Your site has a dedicated shaded sitting area surrounded by bamboo and palm trees for your personal use secluded in the front yard. We're in a safe, residential neighborhood in a wonderful, unincorporated, beachside community, less than a mile to Walmart, Aldi, Walgreens, countless restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the Indian River Lagoon. Our ocean access boardwalk does not offer public restrooms, parking or lifeguards, but there are several parks nearby that do. Our experience with Christine and Cal's land was great! They were friendly and VERY good hosts. Our site was nice, clean and private. We had a very nice view of the sun setting, and the wind flowing thru the trees at night was calming. Im definitely returning to experience the other sites in the near future. I definitely recommend booking a site with Christine and Cal, GREAT people!

In a word: outstanding. Christine and Cal are amazing hosts really going above and beyond and wanting you to feel safe and comfortable. The space is great with perfect amenities (water, hot outside shower, portable john, etc just like in the listing). They keep everything super clean and well-maintained. Others mentioned road noise--it's convenient because it's right off the road. My site was probably the closest one to it. During the day, you can hear cars of course, but at night there was no noise and I slept great! Book this place!

Amazing view! Lots to do. Loved the pool and strolling / biking the neighborhood. Beautiful houses and properties, friendly people, felt safe and a great place for kids. We didn’t use the pickle ball, tennis, or shuffle board courts but there were a few people on them. Very impressed with the whole place. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Surfer Beach And Tree Sanctuary

What a great place! First of all, you are just across the street from the beach and from a turtle sanctuary!! It’s one of the last spots on the Atlantic coast of Florida which is not overdeveloped. I hesitate to broadcast it too much as it is so special! John runs a small surf shop and a surf camp. So there’s a low key, cool business attached to the property (filled with great books to be loaned). The yurt is quite comfortable and has all the amenities you need. It’s very quiet and surrounded by jungle like foliage. I highly recommend this place. We will absolutely be back. My only suggestion is in summer note that they have mosquitoes. It’s manageable, but prepare in advance.

Weekend Trip to Cocoa Camping Space Coast

I made a last minute booking for my 32’ travel trailer with pop out. I arrived around 2:30am and everything was easy and straight forward! The host was quick to respond and friendly. There is a small cafe / restaurant on site as well! Other comments mention the train - the train is not an issue at all! This isn’t the Ritz however this is an outstanding place for the price and location.
