Moondancing Meadows is a back-to-nature wellness glamping facility. We believe in enjoying the abundance of nature, with a few creature comforts.
Please note, we currently have 4 different glamping tent sites and 2 primitive tent camping sites. The primitive tent camping sites are NOT a glamping tent, you must bring your own tent. Glamping tents come fully furnished as in the pictures.

If there is a severe weather warning posted (tornado, hurricane, severe thunderstorms, etc.) and predicted for the zip code for Moondancing Meadows we will refund you 100%.
We do not allow cancellations outside of the window with refunds for rain or normal Florida weather systems. Our tents are rated for winds have proven to be safe and dry during storms. We have never had a flooding issue on the land and we supply umbrellas for walking to the bathroom. Please embrace the stage that Mother Nature sets for you and bask in the beauty of experiencing weather so intimately that we usually shelter ourselves from.
Our canvas glamping bell tents are nestled in to nature. All the tents have a beautiful Florida forest view and is located in a private area of the campground. They have all been beautifully furnished with real mattresses, sitting area, storage, indoor and outdoor lighting, along with other perks.
All of our sites are pet friendly except for the Jupiter glamping tent.
There is a community outhouse like no other outhouse you have seen and a beautiful community outdoor shower with hot water. We have a community fire pit for all to enjoy. We have an outdoor kitchen with a charcoal grill, propane burner, and a coffee station. We also have potable water available for campers.
Check in time is 3pm or later, Check out time is 12pm
Our goal is to provide a perfect balance of peaceful connection with self and nature coupled with a connection to community. Please check our Facebook page to see if we are hosting any events during your stay.
We are located in the Horse Capital of the World and also 10 minutes from world-famous Rainbow Springs and KP Hole Park for kayakers and tubers. There is a waiting line in front of the park and at the tubing entrance starts 30 minutes to an hour before the park opens. The park often reaches capacity before the morning is over. It is very convenient to be close to the park to guarantee entry.

At the Red Door Cottage Farmhouse our guests can wake up to the early morning songs of the birds and catch the miraculous sunrise and sunsets over the lush green fields.
You can relax in a hammock between the pines next to the lake. There is also a net to play badminton or volleyball with your family and friends.
After a fun day exploring nature and enjoying the country life, our farm home provides plenty of space to relax with a warm cup of coffee, hot cocoa or a cold-tall glass of sweet tea.
Pick up delicious local steaks and grill them on the indoor or outdoor grills.
Have a grand picnic at our Oversized Outdoor Pavilion.
Enjoy your evenings next to the fire pit, make some delicious s'mores, play horseshoes, or challenge each other to a game of corn hole.
Small Dogs under 30 pounds are welcome here for an additional fee, but please keep them leashed at all times. (No more than 1 pet and rates apply)
Please be aware that there will be other guests and staff on the property during your stay.
There may be events being hosted on the property, such as small weddings, picnics, family or engagement photography.
We also welcome and entertain bird/botany/agricultural or wildlife enthusiast as well.

The lake is not for diving or swimming. It is approximately 20 feet deep. Child Supervision is required.
You can fish as close to the water as you are comfortable with, so bring your fishing gear and bait. The area leading to the water can be marshy depending on the recent amounts of rainfall. We do recommend wearing snake boots in this area.
Please feel free to enjoy the beautiful nature walks. Also, you will find many areas along the paths that are perfect for a spontaneous picnic and fun photos.
Guests are responsible for any damages to the home, bridge or pavilion.

We offer two Amish built log cabins at our RV Campground. Each cabin has a front porch, one bedroom with queen size bed. Living area with a set of bunkbeds, love seat and hand-hewn high-top table and bar stools. Two burner stove top, full size microwave and refrigerator. Full size bathroom with large walk-in shower. Fully furnished with towels and linens as well as dishes, cooking utensils and coffee pot. Smart TV with Dish Network. Wi-Fi is included.
Stone crab claws are in season at Kathi's Krab Shack and the best fishing in Florida is happening here in Steinhatchee. Whether you are wanting to catch a keeper Redfish, Sheepshead, Trout, Cobia or Flounder - this is where you will find them. Negative tides are putting the Captains on holes that are not usually available during Summer season. If you want to fish and have your own boat we have boat parking. If you want to fish and do not have your own boat - don't worry - we have some excellent captains that we can recommend.
Steinhatchee is located in Taylor County Florida along the Gulf of Mexico. Inshore and offshore fishing is year-round. Scallop season is July/July to September. More than 20 springs are located within 45 minutes of Steinhatchee. Too numerous to count are the Florida Wildlife Management areas that are accessible by car and allow for birdwatching and animal siting's of deer and wild boar. Steinhatchee River is a kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding experience. The local restaurants/Marinas are within five minutes of the campground. Live music is available at the restaurants/Marinas.
