Loved how easy it was to get from the Tampa Bay metro area.
The grounds were fun, well maintained and whimsical. Yvette is sweet and is there for you for anything that you might need but gives you the space to relax and be.
If you are a light sleeper I recommend you bring ear plugs as the birds start early and are very vocal. You also may want them to block off the occasional dog barking in the distance.

Fairytale Site - Multiple tents
It it was a nice two nights camping on Yvette's property. She is set back off the road, lots of trees for shade and privacy. She does live on site, but was very accommodating for anything we needed. The site had running water, with a sink, electric, portable camp toilet, screened in tent with table/chairs, and another 6ft table for setting up the coffee pot she provides. Coffee and creamer are also available. As well as a canopy tent over your personal tent. Her property is lit up with fairy lights at dark, and usually turned off by 11pm.
We were there to kayak and enjoy manatee site seeing!

Fairytale Site - One Tent
Loved camping here. The campground was beautiful and magical. We had deer visit us during the night and enjoyed the hoot owls calling to each other. Yvette is a wonderful camp host and made us feel so welcome even with our late arrival. She made sure we had everything we needed and then some. We felt like a wanted guest in her home. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Yvettes Fairytale Forest! I can't wait to stay there again. The immersion in nature felt wonderful, the lighted paths were magical, and satisfied my intention for connecting with nature. Only issue was I wish I didn't have to leave to turn over my Airbnb in St Pete the next day.
We plan to be back soon! Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and good intentions, Yvette💜🙏🏻

Yvette was so lovely and kind! She was there for anything we needed and was so helpful and the site was so cute. You can tell she put a lot of thought and care into her space and it felt like visiting an old friend. So many seating areas, a beautiful garden, very thoughtful items for us to use! Felt more like glamping!!!

Took my sister here as a surprise for a sister get away and it was so great we didn’t wanna leave and can’t wait to go back. We had such great time. It was stress free because we didn’t have to worry about bringing a tent, chairs or grill because Yvette had all that for us already set up. Definitely will be going back soon. <3

We had a great stay at the Fairytale Site! Yvette was super welcoming and accommodating with our kids and dog. The lights at night gave a beautiful ambiance. We loved the site's proximity to Crystal river and the manatees.

We loved Fairytale Forest! Yvette is an incredibly helpful host- so kind, welcoming, and warm. The fairy lights were so helpful with our late arrival for seeing to set up our tent, etc, and Yvette has thought of everything regarding comforts and convenience while camping here. In general over the years with our Hipcamp stays, we’ve come to especially appreciate privacy, and Yvette’s land really offers it well. The setting is peaceful and quiet but only 15 min away from crystal river where we had a lovely day paddling on the water. She also has a screened area for the picnic table, and even though the bugs were (luckily) not bad, I could see how especially appreciated that is in the hotter/buggier seasons. We had such a lovely time and hope to return again!

I had a great time tent camping at Yvette’s Fairytale Forest. She was a very kind and accommodating host! The fairy lights were pretty and we saw several deer while camping. We would definitely book again!

"What went well?"
Everything! Yvette gave us a tour of the campground as soon as we got there and showed/told us everything we needed to know about our stay and the accommodations.
The tent was perfect for us; when it started raining, Yvette brought a pop-up canopy over to set up over the tent; there was firewood ready for us to use; it was blazing hot, so she brought us a cooling fan to set up in the tent; there was an extension cord ran to our tent to use for charging our phones; there was a coffee station set up in a picnic area; there was everything we could have needed and more!
Yvette is kind, positive, energetic, passionate, and attentive as a host and we had a blast staying at her campground!
