Animals on-site: Outside the fenced camp area, you'll find pet cows and donkeys—all friendly and never raised for food. Feel free to feed and pet them without crossing the fence! Ducks and chickens may wander near the camping area.
If you're towing horses, they are welcome to graze within the camping area. If multiple guests have horses, we’ll guide you to a larger pasture.
Pets are welcome! Just keep them leashed near the other farm animals.

Neil‘s nest has a very nice small campground. She has three sites that are full hook up and very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and if you go there, you will see that she puts a lot of effort and making this campground and enjoyable family friendly place. she has all the commodities of a large campground with the exception to a swimming pool. She does not have that but otherwise I would highly recommend there and we would stay there again.

We just had an amazing stay on Brandon's beautiful property! From start to finish Brandon was attentive and accommodating. The property was beautiful! It backs right up to a tree covered and paved bike trail which was so much fun to ride! We used our ebikes but he had 2 bikes for our adult friends and even went out of his was to get a child's bike for their 10 yr old! We also visited Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings State Park which was so interesting. We shook tangerines and oranges from the trees stayed for the fascinating tour of her home. We took full advantage of his big smoker and had great food, built fires and toasted marshmallows! If you are on the fence about this property, dont be. Go! You will love it. ❤️

This site was perfect for us. It is a hook up for one camper full hook up, worked great. The river launch was a short walk away, and we were able to fish on a little dock. The river cat fish tasted awesome. The host Lisa and Jeff were top-notch. Communicated very promptly with us. although it says it’s in a neighborhood. The houses are very spread out and we never had a sense of feeling crowded at all.. We were able to swim in the springs a couple of miles away. There’s a cute town with a bait shop and a very good little restaurant. We ate breakfast there almost every day. We cooked over our campfire in the evening and Jeff and lisa provided us with great seasoned firewood. We would come here again.

The location is great! Very neat and tidy grounds. A nice community area with a fire pit basketball hoop badminton nicely lit at night. The bathroom was nice. The bathroom was nice except for they don’t supply toilet paper, hand soap or a towel towels dry your hands so bring your own stuff in there. Otherwise the shower was nice. There is a washer and dryer there. We didn’t use it. There’s an extra fee to use it. There’s only four sites. It’s a nice private area. It’s a large fenced area with a gate and you need a gate code to get in. All in all I would recommend Neal’s nest and we would stay there again if ever in the area. A great place to camp plenty of things to do near by . Property backs right up to the historic hawthorn trail a paved trail that replaced an old train track.excellent for hiking and biking. Not to far from silver springs and st Augustine. Brandon and his wife were nice and helpful.definitely recommend.we plan on going back

We stopped here last minute on a through trip and it was a great location just off highway so we didn’t have to go far off our route. However it was secluded and gated property! Very clean and setup easy. Host was very responsive and welcoming!

We loved it at Nealsnest! It wasn't a planned stop but glad we did. Stayed 3 nights in our RV. Quiet and peaceful with tall trees all around the property. Less than 30 min to Cedar Key and beach. I had to work, so set up my laptop on a nearby picnic table for a few hours. Also love the astroturf next to the RV site and badminton court. It may not be natural, but it feels great stepping out onto it and is visually appealing amongst the dry sandy ground. Only a handful of sites, but plans for more are in the works. It's a perfect setting. Owners live on the adjacent property. Tina was very responsive and greeted us when we arrived and later checked in to make sure all was good. Also can't beat the price. I'm sure it won't stay that way as they expand and become more well-known. Highly recommend!

We always enjoy staying at this Hipcamp site. Tina has set up such a warm and welcoming campsite with improvement since we were here last year. We returned due to it being very convenient to go down to Cedar Key for dinner and a beautiful spot on property for stargazing. We will definitely return again in the future.

Resort type facility with tons of amenities. Overall nice place and convenient location. Failures for me - No trees! - and they only have a few picnic tables so bring your own as well as no firepits.

This is a lovely camp with great amenities located close to downtown area. The site owner was readily available for any questions or concerns, although there weren’t any at all. We will most definitely stay here again. Thank you, Tina!!
