Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. If you are looking for a full farm-to-table experience, Buckingham Farms is 20 minutes from us and is a 85-acre farm with fresh produce grown hydroponically! We are also about 20 minutes from 31 Produce/Cracker Shack Cafe which is a local U-Pick farm that has seasonal fruits/vegetables available, as well as a restaurant, farm animals, and "gem mining"! With just a 1 to 2-minute drive, we have two parks, Nalle Grade Park and Pop Ash Creek Preserve, for those who enjoy nature walks, fishing, or birding. There are also a handful of other nature preserves and parks in the local area that are around a 20 to 25-minute drive! The property was nice and peaceful, many trees, we seen a baby gator. The camper was nice, dont let the outside fool you. It’s an older style camper. Many people on here complaining about bugs and how the property looked, but keep in mind you are camping at someone’s house and they have children. We are in southwest Florida so bugs and fire ants are expected. George was very responsive with questions. Thanks for allowing us to share your property for a night away

My wife and I were there for a few hours, unfortunately there was a brush fire that was a bit too close for comfort (wife is from Fire country out west). Amanda was very helpful getting info about the fire. Richard is onsite and is a hell of a nice guy, gave us some fruit and fishing advice about the pond on site. It’s remote and very quiet with some good fishing. Would recommend.

We found ourselves “homeless” for a night. Aaron’s spot was perfect for our needs. The sight was on his small fruit tree nursery, with a chicken. It was easily accessible, provided electricity, water and was gated. It was close enough to amenities yet was in a rural area. Aaron was very personable and spoke with my husband for quite awhile about his property and his plans. We would stay again.

Great quiet site with power and water. Close enough to get anywhere you need to during the day, but far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Definite hurricane damage in 2024 in the area, but owner is working hard to rebuild and get the site back to its beautiful greenery again. I would stay again.

3 nights at SWFL Everglades Camping

This place was awesome! Very unique off grid camping spot beside a lake full of fish and a baby gator. We tent camped here for 3 nights between the fruit trees and I wish we had stayed longer! Richard was kind and helpful and checked in on us a few times gifting us some fresh produce. Very cool spot for stargazing or birdwatching. If you love the real Florida in all it's glory you will love it here. The generator powered hot water for a shower and flushing toilets made it a luxurious camping spot as opposed to a primitive campsite. Chickens were really cute. Some people in their reviews complained about the rooster but if you are used to farm life it does not make any difference to hear the rooster crowing. Lots of wildlife to see and hear throughout the day and night. Very close to Big Cypress Forest and the Everglades both beautiful see them while you still can! Overall a great spot would love to come back in the future.

8 nights at Gulf Coast Getaway

We had a nice time camping at Aaron's place. It was quite and peaceful. Our English Setters loved to walk around his property. We had a issue with our water heater in our RV so we had to use his outside shower for a few days. It got us by until our new one arrived. The on site camper that was supposed to have a toilet and shower was damaged during the last hurricane so be sure your camper is fully self contained if you camp here or check first to see if repairs have been made. We Kayaked on the Orange River out of the Manatee Park about 5 miles from the campsite. We saw lots of wildlife including several Manatees. We also rode our Harley to Fort Meyers, Everglades City, and Sarasota. There all less than 2 hours away. It's a good centralized lication. Aaron was polite and helpful with any questions or concerns we had.

Finally a really QUIET place to pitch your tent. Make a fire, admire the stars, enjoy the birds. Beautiful central space. With kitchen. Plenty hot water. Limited electricity (generator), no drinking water. 4 miles dirt road to get there, so bring everything you need with you. Great place if you can live with the minor points mentioned. Recommended !

I sadly didn’t get to stay here, although we did see the site and it looked so lovely by the shady pond. The host had sent some vital check in information through a message on the app, but not included those details in the check in information. As we didn’t have much reception when traveling I had screenshot the check in instructions before she sent the other message. She was very kind to refund us and understanding to the mix up. I would attempt to stay here again when in the area and she said she would update the check in information so hopefully no future confusions. It is a bumpy 2 mile dirt road. Copy and paste the actual address instead of clicking on the app to bring up directions. That took us another 4 extra miles around our elbows on said bumpy road. Good luck and enjoy!

This is a nice quiet campground a little off the beaten path but still close location for exploring the surrounding big cypress and everglades. It is not a bad price for the area (naples camping/hotels are very expensive). We tent camped 3 nights here and next time would be interested to stay in the bungalow!

Plenty of options for setting up camp. The property was wonderfully serene in its setting. Have to turn on the generator before showering but the facilities in the building with the screen porch were excellent. It was a real pleasure meeting and talking to the gentleman host on site. Overall, it was an excellent overnight stay and I would definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
