Come enjoy a relaxing & peaceful stay under the beautiful oaks at our Rustic-themed RV park, just minutes from the Itchetucknee Springs. We are a small, 14 site RV Park that is family owned and operated. We offer 15/30/50 amp service, full hook-up to self-contained units only (No public restroom/bath house at this time). One of our favorite things about our park is the old general store we had moved approximately 36 miles across Suwannee County, for our future office. Many people stop by just to snap a quick picture along their journey. We hope to have it open soon! Keep your eyes open for many different types of wildlife, including hawks, owls, deer, turkey, and rabbits. We are approximately 10 minutes from Branford & Fort White, for the closest grocery store and places to eat. Dollar General is also located 1 mile from our park. 🏞️🌲 White Sand. Sunny River Days. Oak & Pine Forest. Two States. Southern Country Vibes A private riverfront escape just 40 minutes outside Jacksonville, right on the FL-GA line. 🌿 Welcome to Blackwater Blackwater is a secluded 10+ acre private property on a quiet bend of the St. Marys River, with 150+ acres of protected Florida preserve directly across the river. Located right on the state line at the southernmost edge of Georgia. We intentionally keep Blackwater small, quiet, and private, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the river and surrounding woods. The Florida–Georgia state line runs through the river. You can literally swim between two states at once. 🌊 🏝️ The White-Sand River Beach Long before Blackwater was here, this part of Georgia was the ancient coastline. Today, where that old coastline "trail ridge" meets the St. Marys River, you find a soft, white private sandbar along a shallow, clean, refreshing, dark-water river surrounded by native woods. 🌊 The St. Marys River The St. Marys is a freshwater, rain-fed river flowing from the Okefenokee Swamp. Naturally occurring tannins from peat give the water its black color, while the shallows are a beautiful golden “sweet tea” color. 🏊 Swim it. 🛶 Paddle it. 🎣 Fish it. 🏕️ The Riverfront Pavilion Right at the river's edge is our 70' covered pavilion overlooking the river. It's a place to get out of the sun ☀️, wait out an afternoon rainstorm 🌧️, cook a meal 🍳, play some games 🎲, gather around the fire pit 🔥, or simply sit and watch the river and spot birds as the sun sets. ⚡ Power 💧 Water 💡 Lights 🌀 Fans 🪑 Tables & Chairs 🔥 Grills & Fire Pit 🎲 Games The pavilion is available for small and large private group camping trips, celebrations, club or troop gatherings, and full-property buyouts. 🔐 Want the Whole Place to Yourself? Full-property private bookings are available. Bring your group, spread out, and enjoy Blackwater as your own private river retreat. For the right group, having the entire property to yourselves changes the experience completely. Your group, the river, and the woods. 🌊🌲 Do Something. Or Nothing at All. 🌲 Your Weekend at Blackwater 🏊 Swim and wade 🛶 Paddle and/or kayak 🎣 Fishing (Sunfish, Bluegill, Bowfin, Warmouth, Chain pickerel, Catfish) 🥾 Explore our easy walking/biking/ATV trails 🐦 Birdwatching 🔥 S’mores and stories around the campfire 🌌 Stargaze under dark skies 🎯 Archery/BB gun practice (we only supply the backstop) 📶 Cell service is limited — a chance to unplug 🦃 Free-ranging friendly turkeys and chickens roam the property 🐕 Dogs are welcome— FREE. 🧭 Want to explore more? 📍 St. Marys Shoals Park — just minutes away 📍 Okefenokee Swamp National Wildlife Refuge — access through Okefenokee Adventures 🌅 Come slow down. 🌿 Welcome to Blackwater, y'all.

The FOLC Farm (Florida Outdoor Learning Collective) is a homestead, outdoor learning center, and community event space in Gainesville, FL. This is the closest camping site to Gainesville. Situated on 5 wooded acres, The FOLC Farm is only minutes from downtown Gainesville and the University of Florida by car or bike trail, and within walking distance of Payne's Prairie State Park La Chua Trail, Boulware Spring, Sweetwater Preserve trail system, and the Hawthorne bike trail. Guests are welcome at the occasional public social events held onsite (separate from the campground). At The FOLC Farm, you will find the perfect blend of nature, culture, and convenience. At the entrance of the property is a self-contained, family-friendly campground with nine non-electric sites (five tent sites and four car camping sites). You may also rent the entire campground for your private group (please message to inquire). At the campground, you have access to a shared campfire, picnic tables, grill, composting toilet, sink with running water, shower with hot water, changing room, and some art supplies and games to enjoy during your stay. The host lives on the homestead and is available if you need assistance. Please note: We love dogs and have an elderly chihuahua on site. Your pet must be kept leashed or in your personal tent at all times as is standard with most campgrounds. Dogs cannot be left unattended on the property while you are gone. Dogs who bark or may become aggressive with people or dogs they do not know are not allowed at The FOLC Farm as there may be other campers and dogs near you. If your dog is barking, growling, being a nuisance to others, or is off leash, you will be required to leave. The five tent sites are within the campground circle where no cars are allowed for camper safety. The parking area is within 150 feet (45 meters) of the various sites, and a cart is available to move your gear. Sites are 25–50 feet (8–15 meters) apart. This wooded 5-acre property is very close to thousands of acres of state park land and also adjacent to a rural/suburban neighborhood. Therefore, you can expect to hear both typical neighborhood sounds (cars, children) as well as wildlife such as Barred Owls, Sandhill Cranes, and occasional deer visits.
