Weekend Trip to Jack's Landing-Old Florida +Pool!

My first time doing hipcampers and it was perfect.Safety was my main concern but that concern was ease when I met Quintin and his wonderful wife. They are wonderful host. If your looking for a beautiful campsite for peace and quiet this is the place to go. I will be back to visit with Family and friends .🤗🥰

2 nights at Rasayana Cove

I wanted to take my mom who has cancer to a place where she could forget about her troubles. We were able to spend quality time together remember how healing it is to connect with nature. There was not much internet or cell service but it was exactly what we needed to disconnect from that world. This spot has everything needed to stay comfortable and relax.

Wow! What an experience! The oak recolonization on this lakeside lot is so beautiful. The weather this time of year is perfect in the evening (though a bit warm in the day). You might not expect it, but despite all of the growth to the north along the I-4 corridor, it's pretty much dark-sky country to the south, so the stars can be beautiful; got some great pictures we wish we could post here. The neighborhood seemed mostly quiet, but there were a few "monster" trucks passing by on the road up the hill from time to time. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Rasayana Cove

Wow! What a hidden gem! This entirely off-the-grid cabin is perfect if you’re looking to disconnect from the world. This beautiful cabin is nestled amongst the oak trees which provide plenty of shade. The property is surrounded by open prairies and cattle fields and it was so nice to wake up to the sounds of the cattle nearby. There is a creek that runs along the property, which makes for a nice evening stroll. Once the sun goes down, the forest comes alive and you can hear the owls calling out to eachother. Although this cabin is off-grid, I found the camping stove easy to use and was happy to see that basic cooking wares were provided. The host, Dennis, was kind and easy to communicate with. I appreciated that he came by the day of our arrival to make sure we were settling in ok. I look forward to coming back again in the cooler months and would definitely recommend this place!

5 nights at Tres Lagos Farm & Garden

Our campsite, Vista de Palmas was very nice. We felt secluded by the huge bamboo plants that made our site private. Electrical and water were provided and George had just installed a place to dump, but our 20 feet of sewer hose was about a foot too short. George was very friendly and responsive. Go to Hogbody’s and Lawhon’s grocery store. Both great little businesses. Thank you George!!

Weekend Trip to Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp

Luiz was a gracious host and the campsites were nice and spacious. The lake was very nice to camp next to and there was plenty of shade to set up your tents in. The farm animals were super cute!

My wife and I had a great little getaway here for 1 night. We enjoyed walking around the property and checking out Horse Creek. Also enjoyed chatting with Dennis.

1 night at Lake Huntley Oasis - Pvt Dock -Acre

We loved having our own fenced in place. Nice lake for fishing and playing. Dogs loved it and we will return!

Weekend Trip to Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp

His land is a hidden treasure! The grounds are kept nice and it's very pretty to walk around and look at the trees and lake. The sites are spacious and private, and Luiz and his dog Bruno are friendly, accommodating hosts. He has a clean bathroom for guests, and you can walk your dogs on or off a leash. The free roaming horses, Cows, bulls and chickens are a game changer. They are so fun to interact with!

Weekend Trip to Rasayana Cove

Dennis is an amazing host, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The property is absolutely stunning, a wonderful get away to old Florida. The cabin is spacious with plenty of room for little campers. My husband and I spent our birthday there with our ten month old and had a wonderful time.

Loved our experience at Oak Hammock Resort. Well maintained, good space and very peaceful. The camp also has great access and views of Lake Pierce. Will definitely return.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay while working at a local art show. It was the perfect relaxing place we needed. George & his family made us feel at home & welcomed. We had lovely evenings sitting by the fire-pit star gazing & listening to all the birds.

Second visit and will be back to this great site. Very private, and peaceful. Frank is a responsive host in case you need help. Thank you Frank! Bring water, toilet, and pack out your trash. Site has good WiFi and enough solar to keep your batteries charged from a 15 amp outlet. You will need a long 3 prong extension cord. There are sand trails for ATV and motorbikes on adjacent properties in the development. I saw several kayak fishermen on the lake reeling in a catch.

20 nights at Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp

We didn’t wanna leave, between the awesome horses, pony, and of course Bruno(campsite dog). We kept a cooler full of apples and carrots for the horses, they will shun you. Bring apples, carrots, please lol Big open ranch, free to explore, our dogs absolutely loved it and really helped their socialism meeting new people and the horses, cows.etc. We originally booked for a week, and decided to stay for two months! Great fishing nearby at the dam, and onsite fishing in the pond. beautiful place and great sunsets

3 nights at Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp

We were in hip camp site two with water and electric. The best aspects of this camp is the small fishing lake, and beautiful sunsets. The horses, chickens and cows have the freedom to roam and are friendly and well taken care of. Our host Luiz, is laid back and at the same time attentive, always working to improve his land. The other guests were quiet, respectful, and friendly. Bruno, the cattle dog, appreciates you throwing a stick for him. I would give the shower experience a 2 out of 5. The water does get warm/hot but not much pressure. However It will get the job done. We would stay here again if in the area! Thanks Luiz, for your hospitality.

Get up close and personal with where some of your medicines and vegetables come from. Jack's Landing features 3 tent sites, 2 van or RV sites (under 30'), a primitive, unique outdoor solar gravity shower, port-a-potty, common fire pit area, and 2 kayaks for use on Star Lake. We also an offer efficiency apartment in our home with separate entrance. Our swimming pool is available daily from Noon until 7 PM. Located about 1 hour from Orlando attractions and 1 hour from Tampa Bay. 20 minutes to Legoland. Minutes from the Peace River and many great State Parks. 15 minutes to a couple of great breweries, restaurants and grocery options. Property is undergoing restoration to native conditions for the past quarter century from former orange groves. Sites and paths are adjacent to our 1919 farmhouse which has been the site of various supernatural encounters (to include Jack himself!). We pride our property on the natural habitats and ecosystems unique to central Florida. You may encounter species including marsh rabbit, armadillo, opossum, red fox, gopher tortoise, bald eagle and many other birds at the expansive lake front. It is VERY possible to meet or see resident alligators near the lake - Please use the lake and shore areas carefully, respectfully and at your own risk! We DO NOT condone the use of any weapons on the property. Our space has been created for those who enjoy nature, and we expect all our guests to do no harm and leave nothing but footprints!
