I went camping with my sister and we had a fantastic time. Joseph is gracious and hospitable. We started with a tour of his land. The best part was hearing the cows and owls throughout the night. Theres also flowing water througout the property that adds to the ambiance. Plenty of trees that provided shade in the Florida heat. I would definitely recommend his property.

Real Florida
The property is very beautiful and quiet and serene. I truly enjoyed walking the paths with my dogs and enjoying the stream that goes through the property. Joseph showed me around upon arrival. (The address is not clearly marked, but Joseph was quick to respond and help)
The RV sites are in front of the property with water and electric. There's a cute pond right by them with fish in it. They are not as private as the campsites in the back without water and electric. We were in a camper van and were able to drive back there where it was very private and quiet. Anything longer us (20ft) would not make it down the road with the little twists and turns to get there. This place is one of a kind for sure. I'd describe it as "real florida" or what a lot of Florida used to be.
Be prepared for an open air shower with no privacy. Its right by the main house and in the shared outdoor area.

What a precious gem. An oasis like you'd never believe. It was a privilege to spend time with the trees, wildlife and streams.

Peaceful on the Peace
Joe was the most gracious host. He took the time to show us around his beautiful property and point out the amazing wildlife and subtropical landscape. It was a short, beautiful bike ride to the Peace River. An up close, early morning owl encounter was one of the highlights. Thanks Joe :)
