The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Weekend Trip to Lucky U Ranch

We had an awesome time at Lucky U camping for a weekend in mid-December. Rob and Mike were excellent hosts, both very responsive and hospitable on site. The ranch’s facilities (with the hosts built themselves!) were in pristine condition and well-appointed with extra towels, indoor-style plumbing and even a full camp kitchen. Our tent campsite was quiet and secluded in a nicely shaded spot. Interacting with the animals on the farm during the day was a blast. We could not recommend their camp more.

Weekend Trip to Lucky U Ranch

This camping experience was incredible! The land is beautiful and cared for, the property felt private and exclusive, yet was very easy to navigate; the roads well maintained and accessible for any vehicle. Large flat beautiful areas for multiple tents under the trees or in the open, and plenty of room to park and lay out blankets to star gaze. Rob and Mike were wonderful and available, met us at the gate and led us to our spot, showing us all the important points. The horses and mules were adorable and friendly. SO many birds to listen to when awakening, and the stars at night were incredibly bright. Bathroom area was clean, and not only stocked with shampoo and conditioners, but also coffee, creamer, and hot chocolate! We went to swim with manatees one day, but honestly could have stayed and just enjoyed the scenery just as happily. It was heaven. We missed the tour, but trust it would have been lovely as well. We will definitely return!

Very peaceful at night after the activity calms Awesome view of the stars. Fire pit and charcoal grill. Firewood available for a small fee. Chairs for sitting and talking or quietly relaxing. During the day you can relax and read or interact with the goats, the donkey, the chickens and best of all the little pig. Eggs and Goat milk soap of all different scents to choose from. Eggs also for a small fee for cooking. Best of all my little dog was free off leash. You must keep them under control though. No chasing the other animals. Their dog and mine got along pretty good after they got to know each other. It was like camping out on a little farm. Canopys of Old Oak trees, large enough to go off to the less active areas or closer to the animals and friendly environment. The hosts are so wonderful. One of the best HipCamp's I've stayed at. We loved it!!!

My wife and I loved it there. Beautiful place. Rob and Mike were amazing hosts, could not ask for better. Loved the animals grazing freely and visiting us daily at our site, Loved it. Looking forward to going back. If there was a 1 to 10 rating I would give it an 11.

Very kind and helpful. Accommodating. Pretty. Felt private. Didn't realize there was going to be a rooster at 3am but I get that a rooster crows when it wants to. Just went in the car to finish sleeping. No problem. Otherwise the wifi was great as I needed to homeschool with my kiddo and I we watched a movie 9 computer last night without any glitches. Awesome host! Thanks Matthew.

Great stay. Lots of room for my dog to roam, and tons to see. Lots of animals, a full size pet pig and a family of goats with babies next door! Sean checked in on me and was available if I needed anything (which I did not). I had no issues with the 30a power. I will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Lucky U Ranch

We had a great time on the property and around the area. Rob and Mike are excellent hosts and have a great operation. They give a tour of the property on Saturdays so we got to see all the goats, stallions, miniature horses, geese and donkeys! The spots are spread out nicely and the bathroom/shower area are top notch for an outdoor setting! The little touches do not go unnoticed. We stayed in the RV they have availabile and boy were we happy with it since some rain showers decided to come along on our trip. We look forward to coming back sometime. Thanks Rob and Mike!

Weekend Trip to North Shore Relic Ranch

Highly recommend staying here. The site we stayed at was beautiful, the trees with the moss hanging from them and the vegatation around the site made it feel very woodsie, nice size site as well. Pretty neat stuff to gander at on the property. The host James is wonderful to communicate with! We have already booked another stay in January and we are very excited to go back! There are trails for walking, biking and horseback riding right next door. A highly recommended drive through nature trail about 15 minutes from the sight. Just remember, your in the woods, there ARE bugs and mosquitoes be prepared if you go during warmer nights

Nice property and the people were very nice over the phone I arrived late and had to leave early for work so I didn't get a chance to meet them but well taken care of property and had what we needed. I did feel it may be a little pricey compared to other sites I've been too especially because I arrived late and left early I felt I paid a lot for 9 hours but that's my own fault for having a busy schedule I am glad it's same day bookings but it was far from where I work but the closet one to me with same day bookings I hate the 24 hour notice that most sites do so kudos there for sure thanks guys maybe sometime again soon I hope to stay longer next time.
