Fish off the deck or from the yard, zip over to the springs in 10 minutes or head over to the St Johns river for a meal. Lawn games anre under the 5th wheel to use. There is a camp store on site for snacks, bait, drinks, ice, fire wood etc. and there are board games up there that you’re welcome to check out. We are surrounded by conservation land and we have one of the highest populations of bald eagles. We also have friendly squirrels that love to tap on the door for nuts 🥜 in the morning. The Withlacoochee Trail is a mile east at the end of the road. This is a biking, hiking and equestrian trail. Florida Classic Park is roughly 2 miles north on Lockhart. The Croom Recreational Area is also 3 miles away.
If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. We also have a stable available, but that does have a concrete floor with mats. Please reach out to us directly in this regard.

This piece of land is well loved and cared for by pure hearted stewards. Do yourself a favor and stay here! There is nothing like a piece of nature that is being well loved and just wants to love you back. The camper was a perfect nights sleep! I usually sleep restlessly in a new place. But here is slept soundly with only one small waking event. Between the bathroom, shower and kitchen setup they have everything I need to take of myself. I looming forward to returning!

Had a relaxing weekend at this beautiful site. Such a calm and serene vibe all around. I enjoyed seeing the chickens run around and the stars at night. Sweet little spot that feels very private even though there were other campers around. The layout of the campground is very intentional and thoughtful. Fresh eggs, outdoor shower, and pre-built fire were excellent touches, as others have said. I was worried their might be competition for the toilet or shower, but it was never an issue.

Exactly as described! Quiet and peaceful. Mini frig included which is very helpful not having to drag cooler(s) and ice back and forth!!! Bed is comfortable, fell asleep quickly, Did some research online before arriving to find places I wanted to for sure visit. Found some great restaurants in the area. There is a Publix nearby for restocking as needed as well as an outside ATM machine. My Australian Shepherd loved every minute of the trip! He was right at home in the cabin and loved all the new places to hike and explore!!

Very close to Rainbow Springs, they had tubes for us to borrow. Nice fire pit, bring wood. Towels and bedding provided, basic kitchen supplies. We were cooking a meal so brought our own measuring cups/spoons, colander, pot, frying pan etc. Great A/C and hot water, no WIFI. Table and chairs outside, private setting but you can hear the road noise from the highway. Plenty of room for family of 4. Can recommend!

We had such a great stay! Me and my husband had a lot of fun. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. Everything was clean and well taken care of. They also gave us great recommendations for fishing and nearby springs, which we really appreciated.

Amazing! It was a hit with the kids and the adults with plans to come back next year. The horses are beautiful and friendly and really do come greet you (and beg for food) at your campsite. The camper was exactly what we needed but the outdoor showers and flush toilets and mini kitchen were great so we used those. Lots of open space to play. Thanks so much for having us!
