13 nights at Redlands Palmgrove

Outstanding place off the beaten path but close to everything! Wonderful property in the heart of the Homestead agricultural area. Quiet, beautiful and spacious. Close to Biscayne and Everglades NPs and Miami. Great assortment of little eateries and fruit stands nearby all over Homestead. Hagen was a very friendly host with excellent communication. We had a fantastic 2 week stay and would definitely come back!

Weekend Trip to Redlands Palmgrove

Hagen (our host) went out of his way to make sure we were set up and comfortable. And we got to stay under a magnificent wind generator..... wow. And the property was beautiful with all the palm trees.

Joanne was a lovely host. The property is nice and having a flush toilet and shower is a plus.

1 night at Redlands Palmgrove

Another great Hipcamp site. The setting is nice and overall has the feeling of seclusion due to the immense and abundant palm trees. Hagen was a good host, easy going and informative. He had a handful of full time campers, but the sites are spacious and spread apart.

3 nights at Gate to the Keys

Was a great time here! They accommodated us and our four dogs. The host stayed on the property beautiful trees all around pretty secluded. No sewer hook ups is the only down fall. Was two other people there the day we got there and then they left the next morning. I would recommend it! Also was able to have a package delivered to the property !

3 nights at Miami Crossroads

It was so nice to park near where I needed to be in Miami. I rented a car and drove back-and-forth to my meetings downtown. So much better than staying in a hotel. The host were amazing and so helpful. I will be going back

1 night at Gate to the Keys

Our third Hipcamp experience, and it was great. Unlike our first two where we were the only guest, here we were joined by two other couples. Plenty of room and a beautiful setting with lots of cool tropical trees, cashew, mango, coconut, and many more. We were greeted by an elderly gentleman who spoke little to no English, but he was able to direct us to our spot. We wish we could have met Sandra and Joe, but as hosts ourselves, we understand that sometimes that’s not always possible. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to south Florida.

We enjoyed our stay there. The hook ups were close and it was easy to get into the spot. Several other people there but my site was fairly private. A great place to stay for a daytime run to the Keys!

Weekend Trip to Bayside beach, fishing and camping

Jack has a great setup and was helpful upon arrival. We loved being on the water and our kids enjoyed the yard to play in. Being from the East Coast of FL, we especially enjoyed the amazing sunset spot. Thanks for sharing your place with us! We hope to be back soon.

2 nights at RV Haven: Keys, Glades, Miami

What an absolutely beautiful and peaceful property! We stayed for 2 nights with full hookups and enjoyed the pool during the day in a great location for us just before heading down to the keys. Yes there are roosters and chickens that might wake you early but it’s part of the charm and we loved seeing them play in the yard. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in the area

4 nights at Bayside beach, fishing and camping

We found Jack’s place at Bayside Beach camp through an internet search. Living in Australia and going on our adventure we were basically relying on reviews. Bayside Beach Camp reviews were outstanding so we followed our dreams, ending our trip by staying four nights. What a wonderful experience. Jack and his family were so obliging and accommodated a couple of Aussies with open arms. Tranquil, beautiful, relaxing and a memorable visit. Highly recommend Bayside Beach Camp. Weekend Trip to Tropical Getaway

we loved camping underneath the avocado trees. Every evening there is a beautiful sunset with silhouettes of banana and palm trees. There are other people on the property but we never heard them. It’s so wonderful to be able to have access to a bathroom. Joanne is very kind and walked with us around the property, introducing us to all of the amazing fruit trees. She has mango, avocado, banana, egg, fruit canistel, moringa, Mexican sunflower 🌻 and much more. Her energy is beautiful and very welcomed after a day being in a busy Miami area. This place feels like a sanctuary at night so quiet and lots of awesome Nature and bug sounds. Especially in the morning all the birds are wonderful. 🌅 we would definitely recommend it to a friend!

Weekend Trip to Gate to the Keys

This was our second stay and we plan on continuing to use this location for our trips to the keys. The hosts are easy going and the location can’t be beat. Robert is Here fruit stand is 3 minutes away and makes the best smoothies, and access to route 1 to cross into the keys is only about 10 minutes from the campground. I want to give this a 1 star review so people won’t discover my hidden gem, but I couldn’t do that to such a nice place.

Wonderful place, well kept, warm welcome. There is a lot of space. It's in the country side, but not far away from groceries and other amenities. We highly recommend this site for a peaceful stay.

28 nights at Redlands Palmgrove

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Hagen's place, the sites are well spaced, and there was plenty of area for my kids to play both in the shade of palms and in a big grassy area central to the sites. I hope to come and stay again when I return to the area!
