We were lucky enough to buy our slice of paradise when the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the river. My riverside Gazebo came with the property and I am delighted to share it with campers. Learn more about this land: Our pet friendly (2 dog maximum) G Spot, Ginny’s Gazebo, offers a unique outdoor experience with some of the amenities of home. Primitive camping amenities include a pop-up port-a-potty, potable water tank, charcoal grill, picnic table, Tiki torches and a firepit. Fish from our banks, swim in the river, float downriver in a tube from our own launch, and hike along the clearly marked Orange-blazed Florida Trail with bird watching, sunbathing on sugar sand beaches, meditating on our riverbank Zen deck and roasting marshmallows around a roaring campfire, await you at our private and exclusive retreat. Nice piece of property right on the river. The deck down to the water was falling apart, but the boat ramp right next to the property was easy to get to and peaceful. The site itself was nice - A little bit of trash around the property from previous campers, but all in all it was well maintained with a large fire pit.

Bruce is the perfect host! He gives hanging at grandpas house vibes! It felt like we had our own private river! We got to town early, went to the near by spring for a dip, which was breathtaking views! Pulled into Bruce's spot, and immediately jumped on the kayaks with our dogs! Got to see 10+ turtles on the river! Paddled down stream and found a spot where a bunch of boats were parked and jumped out into the water to swim with the locals! Woke up to walk the dogs and saw 6 deers wandering the neighborhood! We were worried about our dogs being loud, but because of how private this spot is, it was peaceful and quite and everything we could have wanted! Got to listen to the rain while we bbqd under the covered RV spot! We will find another reason to come stay again! Highly recommend! Can't thank you enough for your hospitality Bruce!

We appreciate that the site was spacious enough to accommodate our camper and two additional tents. There was sufficient room for everyone to have their own space without feeling crowded. The area was also remarkably clean and conveniently located near the springs. We had our two-year-old granddaughter with us, and the site proved to be very safe for her to run around and play.

Great camping next to Santa Fe River! The site is covered and quite private, and it is a very peaceful location. It is a short paddle to the clear Ichetuknee River, where we had lovely swims. At night we had a fire quite next to the river and it was fun to hear the fish splashing as they jumped out of the water. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely go back!

Great location and the outdoor shower with hot water was nice! The hosts were helpful and we had a great time! Love that we had access to their kayaks and that they not only put out firewood for the fire pit but also gave us a pack of fire starters ☺️

We had such an amazing week at Kathy’s spot! Beautiful views, lots of space & peace and quiet. Our dogs enjoyed running around and splashing in the river. The firepit was a nice touch and there is a boat ramp quite literally next door so you can fish/kayak/etc easily! The stairs on property were pretty damaged in last storm but as long as you are fairly agile you can easily climb down to river bank on the property or you can walk the 40ish feet to the boat ramp (which was very quiet- maybe 2-3 boats a day on weekend days).
