The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

This property is called relic ranch because we have actually found a ton of old relics.
the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.
there is a 2.6 mile nature trail across from the campground to explore.
also there is a boat ramp for fishing about 1/8 mile away. you are welcome to roam over most of the 80 acres. We have goats, cows and chickens as well. All super friendly.

We had a wonderful experience! Nothing like seating down for a meal and having a longhorn right next to you! Beautiful place, very peaceful, just what we were looking for on our very first camping trip! Goats were a hit with our children, specially the baby goats!!!
If we could change one thing is how close to the main road the place is, we could still hear and see some traffic.. other than that great place to have a camping experience with little ones

We had such a wonderful experience camping here! From the moment we arrived, everything felt well-organized, clean, and welcoming. The campsite itself was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of shade and just the right balance of privacy and community.
The facilities really stood out—bathrooms and showers were clean and well-maintained, which made a huge difference, especially with kids. There were also great amenities and activities that kept everyone entertained without feeling overwhelming.
One of our favorite parts was how peaceful and family-friendly the environment was. It felt safe, relaxed, and easy to enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we had questions.

This camp is small, quiet and clean. It has about 11 spots on it right now. You can tent or car camp also but it is an RV park also. There's hook up for electric and water. It has a shower and a bathroom that is very nice and new looks like. This camp is very reasonable on price for what you're looking for.

We had a great trip. The Hosts were Awesome and met us right away when we arrived. They helped us to find a couple of great restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the shady site and preserve views. We saw many birds and wildlife. We had no issues with water or power hookup. Easy to back in and out with our camper. Plenty of room even for larger rigs. We would come back for sure.

We will 1000% be returning in the near future! Our 3 kids (aged 9, 7 and 4) had the best spring break there and Cara at the front check in was great too! Everything is just such an experience and we can’t wait to return! Our kids especially loved being able to pet and feed the Billy goats and their precious babies!

I truly loved the views! You can kayak, have picnics in different areas, and I absolutely loved seeing the animals walking around freely. I loved camping on Sam’s land. The site we had (#5) was very private with a fence between it and the next site. There was a wonderful outdoor real bathroom and a terrific outdoor shower. There was water on the site and I think there may be electric soon. There was a great fire pit.
This was the best Hip Camp we have ever been to by far! If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here. It is very close to Mt. Dora, a lovely, interesting town.

Remote area which is thankfully away from the hustle and bustle of the town. There are many useful amenities, just ask. I’m extremely thankful that Hunter is making this farm accessible to the occasional traveler, particularly with all of the hostile policies in Florida pertaining to overnighting in an RV.

Such a peaceful location and easy access. Mr. Lee was super accommodating as I came in after the sun had set. I felt completely safe and at home. The stars are such a beautiful sight, and I absolutely love the owls, critters, and horses. Relic Ranch is like nothing else- the campground area is pristine with old growth trees and beautiful walking trails (I booked a random weekday and was solo out there which was a fun added bonus although you can't see from site to site so would not have otherwise known).
The Relic portion is an ever changing museum of some of the coolest planes, trains and automobiles along with a few people who seemed to be camping there longer term. I got to pet some goats, I got to see some chickens and they had some great wood for sale on site. I'd give this stay a 10/10 and I was sad to leave / wish I could have stayed longer.

We are repeat campers here. We love the country farm feel. Our dogs love the 2 acres of fenced in area to run. It’s very quiet and peaceful. The only downfall is there’s no bathrooms or dump station so you have to bring it home with you.

Out trip at Lee's couldn't have gone better. Lee was there when we arrived and assisted me in banking up. He gave us a quick run down of his property(utilities and trash) and then let us be. We had zero issues all week. Upon leaving, he checked in as I packed up and we made small talk for a bit. A great guy and great place. We recommend!
