I'm not sure the ducks or geese will let you hold or pet them, but you can certainly watch them swim and quack throughout the day.
Want to sit on the dock of the bay? Well, we don't have a bay, but we do have a pond with a dock where you can do some fishing or just enjoy the feel of the sun on your face and the sounds of the birds chirping.
There's also a really nice park across the street where you can see a waterfall. Yes a waterfall in Florida. It's small but beautiful and there's some trails where you can walk around the park and enjoy all the beauty mother nature has to offer.

Whether you're looking for an overnight spot or a place to camp for several days, our little spot is conveniently located less than a mile off of I10, exit 301. You'll be privately tucked into a quiet corner of our property where you have a walking trail and full access to our stocked pond for fishing or just hanging out.
There's a little Columbia County Park co-managed with Suwannee River Water Management District across the street. The park has a boardwalk that takes you out to view the waterfall, picnic tables, a playground and a historic church.

Osceola National Forest is 200,000 acres of exploration with your name on it! In the northeastern Floridian forest, pine flatwoods and cypress-hardwood swamps surround, with diverse wildlife abound. In this leafy paradise lives gopher tortoises (they act like gophers, but are tortoises!), alligators, black bears, and the skunk ape, also known as the “stink ape,” which bears an uncanny resemblance to bigfoot. Areas of recreation include Ocean Pond--a fave place for boaters, skiiers, and campers, and Olustee Beach for swimming, fishing, and picnicking. The park is also open to hunters and fishermen with permits. With so much land to explore in this National Forest, we wouldn’t be surprised if bigfoot was hiding in there!

A pet friendly, off leash, dark skies 6 acre slice of paradise in North Florida on the banks of the Suwannee River. In 1990 the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the Suwannee River so Southeast Timberlands sold off it's holdings and we were lucky enough to purchase 6 acres and 444 feet of riverfront. A designated "Pristine Scenic Waterway" with very steep banks, the Suwannee is one of the few"wild" rivers left in the United States and can rise over 30 feet to flood stage almost overnight; yet due to its unique topography we can access it no matter how high or low the water.
The Forest Service has bought up the surrounding lots, creating a 10 mile Conservation corridor supporting the National Scenic Florida Trail, it's clearly marked footpaths and natural attractions. To that end, we have left the old growth upland forest the way we found it. The campsite is a natural feature as is the Zen deck and canoe launch, a swale draining the ridge. The campsite is level, the lane to the river slopes gently dropping in elevation 20 feet over 1,000 in making it easy for able bodied guests to navigate their way to the white sugar sand beach.
We want to share our retreat with those who are looking for a real wilderness experience in an exclusive private setting. A Waiver of Liability is required by all guests as the Wilderness is an inherently dangerous place. We only offer one accommodation per weekend with a maximum of 8 people, because we only have 1 toilet, so our guests can have the seclusion they desire and be free to enjoy the natural wonder of the woodland experience in any manner they choose.

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Primitive Campsite one was perfect, I love the open grounds and access to the water. Access to the Springs from the water, nights were still nice and cool. Make sure to keep an eye on fire bans in the area. Will be back!!

It is a neat place. The covered camping spot was nice. The dock was well built dock and felt safe. Water was very low but when it’s back to normal can see it being a fun place for kids to play and swim. Nice fire pit. We will definitely visit again

This site was great. My parents and I came here to kayak the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe River. I didn't get to meet William but his response time was super quick when I had questions. The site was as advertised. Everything was nice and clean. I would recommend bringing tick spray, especially in the spring but Florida does Florida things! You have to expect insects when camping. I will definitely book this site again! We had a great time making memories together!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is well kept and feels secluded but you’re less than 5 min from a few stores and restaurants. There’s no visual barrier between the one neighbor but they were polite and not intrusive at all. It’s a very quiet area and it was great to kick back and relax. We loved hanging out by the river and our dogs were in heaven.

We had a great time at Bowman's Landing! The primitive camping was exactly what we wanted. Clean campsite, great view of the river, unexpected collection of amenities including a coffee maker at the host camp. Proximity to the springs was super convenient.

We had a great time at Kim's place. Nice large area, plenty of shade. The stairs going down to the water is pretty steep so be careful, but the water felt great for cooling off. Plenty of privacy. The grill needs replaced so be sure and bring your own if you plan on grilling. I do recommend this place. We plan on returning.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp. The 10-acre property is primarily open field, which gives you plenty of options for pitching a tent or parking your rig with room to breathe.
The “Dood” in the name refers to doodles (I missed that at first!), and they were friendly, well-behaved, and have their own large fenced area. They only barked briefly in greeting, at mealtime, or when alerting the host.
The newer additions to the ranch—chickens and turkeys—were a fun bonus, and we especially loved the fresh eggs. The miniature goats were an absolute delight and added to the charm of the stay.
This is a great place to stop over while traveling, especially if you’d like to explore the surrounding area and nearby springs. It felt comfortable, peaceful, and welcoming.
Host Sandi was knowledgeable and kind. Coming from a healthcare background, she clearly understands caring about people and making sure guests have a good experience. She was also very interesting to talk with if you enjoy visiting with your hosts. Her son, who co-owns the property, was equally friendly—he showed us the farm animals, helped get us comfortably set up, and made sure we were hooked to power.
Overall, a warm, enjoyable stay with genuine hosts and a memorable farm atmosphere.

Very nice campsite to enjoy nicely wooded sights and short walk to the water from r v site. The primitive sites are along the water bank, and the water was gorgeous, almost crystal clear. Clean bathrooms and showers and even complementary coffee
As well as canoes for rental and plenty of barbecue pits to use. The entire campground was totally infested with wildlife which was beautiful to see and hear. Some of the largest pilated woodpeckers, i've ever seen. I recommend this site for those that enjoy the river, and want a little peace and quite. The host was friendly and gave a great tour of the grounds, then left us alone which was perfectly to my liking.

Quiet spot right on the river. Facilities were as said and had a picnic table. Stairs down to the river were functional. We were able to put in paddleboards and a kayak and Blue Sink Canoe Launch and had a leisurely 2 hour float down to our site where we took the boats out which was very nice. We had two tents and three vehicles with plenty of space. Overall this was a great spot for primitive camping, playing music, and hanging out by the river. Only "downside" was that from 2am-10am you can hear the interstate traffic, but that wasn't a deal breaker for us.
