Caceres Organic Blueberry & Turmeric Farms is nestled in the heart of the Suwannee River Water Basin, home to some some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the world. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 500 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. My father bought the property next door to the RV site

my husband and I acquired the property. We initially were going to be snowbirds and make this our winter
vacation home. After much thought and many winters in PA, we decided to sell our home in PA and make the move south. It was a difficult decision to leave our family,
friends and what was comfortable to us. About 3 years after our move, our neighbor asked if we were interested in his property. My husband Jeff and I discussed it and thought it would be a great idea to have a little more land. To make a long story short, that land somehow became Paradise Park River Retreat. My husband and I love this area and wanted to share it with other people who love being outdoors. We have availability for Memorial Day and fishing continues to be HOT!! Redfish are plentiful and tarpon are rolling! Fishing continues to be the draw during the off season. We have a Fish Cleaning House on site to clean your fish.
While we wait for Scallop Season we are still welcoming folks from all over the country. Some are still traveling further south in Florida. Some are heading home (Wyoming, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio).
We offer three Amish built log cabins at our RV Campground. Each cabin has a front porch, one bedroom with queen size bed and a set of bunk beds in the living area. Two burner stove top, full size microwave and refrigerator. Full size bathroom with large walk-in shower. Fully furnished with towels and linens as well as dishes, cooking utensils and coffee pot. Smart TV with Dish Network. Wi-Fi is included. The Campground is fenced and gated and we are pet friendly. There is a laundry facility on site for the guests. There is a fire pit if you want to relax. In the summer we have a stock tank pool (opens in April) to cool off after a long day on the water.
Steinhatchee is located in Taylor County Florida along the Gulf of America. Inshore and offshore fishing is year-round. Scallop season is June 15 to Labor Day. More than 20 springs are located within 45 minutes of Steinhatchee. Too numerous to count are the Florida Wildlife Management areas that are accessible by car and allow for bird watching and animal siting of deer and wild boar. Steinhatchee River is a kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding experience. The local restaurants/Marinas are within five minutes of the campground. Live music is available at the restaurants.

We purchased our 3.39 acres ten years ago and all that was on it was a RV and lots of pine trees, palmettos, woods and a small pond in the front of the property.
Over those the years we have turned it into our little piece of heaven.
We've added two more RV hookups which our son parked his camper on one.
We built a fully furnished cook shed and on the back side of it we have an enclosed fish cleaning area.
The cook shed also has an enclosed eating area.
In addition, we built a full size bath house / laundry room for the convenience of our campers.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is well kept and feels secluded but you’re less than 5 min from a few stores and restaurants. There’s no visual barrier between the one neighbor but they were polite and not intrusive at all. It’s a very quiet area and it was great to kick back and relax. We loved hanging out by the river and our dogs were in heaven.

Very nice campsite to enjoy nicely wooded sights and short walk to the water from r v site. The primitive sites are along the water bank, and the water was gorgeous, almost crystal clear. Clean bathrooms and showers and even complementary coffee
As well as canoes for rental and plenty of barbecue pits to use. The entire campground was totally infested with wildlife which was beautiful to see and hear. Some of the largest pilated woodpeckers, i've ever seen. I recommend this site for those that enjoy the river, and want a little peace and quite. The host was friendly and gave a great tour of the grounds, then left us alone which was perfectly to my liking.

Beautiful property, saw lots of deer. Perfect location for tubing and visiting the springs. The hosts are very accommodating.
