Camp Salty Turtle is located in the heart of Steinhatchee, FL which is known for its wonderful fishing and scalloping in the nearby Steinhatchee River and Gulf Coast waters. We are approximately a mile from several boat ramps and our campsites are very open and have room for extra vehicles including your boat! We are within walking distance of several restaurants including Kathi’s Crab Shack (3 blocks), Fiddlers (5 blocks) and McDavid’s Cafe (5 blocks) as well as stores like Ace Hardware (3 blocks), Dollar General (3 blocks), Family Dollar (2 blocks)and Maddie’s Market (5 blocks) so you can replenish supplies easily. Enjoy full hookups with 30/50 amp electric, water and sewer. Sites will accommodate 40+ ft camper but sites 2 & 3 are easier back in for a long rig. Wide entrance and open street with no trees to inhibit backing in your rig. Other local attractions include golf cart community (cart rentals available nearby), hiking and kayaking.

Brand new nice & level concrete pads, gravel areas freshly dressed. I only stayed one night, next time I'll stay longer. Easy walk to restaurants. Property is compact, walk it down before you pull in. I will stay again!

The rv park was small and limited for the cost. Was able to find other sites that offered more accommodations for less. I'm sure that if was scallop season it probably may have been acceptable.

Hard to beat this location! Easy walk to Kathie's Krab and Fiddlers. Super easy reservation and hosts are quick to reply. The spots have been well thought out with concrete pads under the picnic tables and at the connections, making use of the water spigot nice and tidy. Trash cans are provided on-site. I felt safe and for the most part it was a quiet, peaceful night's sleep (but that nearby rooster is a very early riser, ya'll! 🐓 ).

We enjoyed our stay! All 3 sites have water, electric, and sewer. Walkable to a few restaurants- we really enjoyed Kathi’s Krabs. Host was very easy to book and communicate with. Lovely stay.

Denise and Steve were wonderful. They stayed at one of the sites during my stay. There are 3 sites on their lots. All good size and plenty of parking. All 3 RV had a extra vehicle and a boat and we all fit just fine. It's a nice area of town and 1 mile from the boat ramp and less than half a mile to a bunch of restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great central location, clean, easily accessible. I suggest site 1 or 2 if you aren't that experienced backing up a rig. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
