Nice concrete pad which is super helpful in FL rainy season. There are no RV parks in NSB with concrete pads so this was a nice option for us while we were in FL to work on our house. Liz and Jay were super helpful and we would stay here again. Thank you for hosting.

This is a great 55+ RV community that was so welcoming and friendly!! It was our first trip out in our RV and we hadn’t anticipated the challenge of backing in the RV but a nice couple out walking helped us get the RV backed in properly so we didn’t have any issues. The hosts were very responsive to texts and calls, super helpful and accommodating! There are several lots for sale in this community but we didn’t find any others on Hipcamp. We did not use any of the amenities but it is a great option to have them available so close. The resort is only a short distance from town so you can run to Walmart, Starbucks, or Bob Evans if you need anything. You are also a short distance from several springs as well. We will definitely be back again!!

This spot was so perfect for what we needed. The site is clean and level and the deck provided such a nice spot for morning coffee or relaxing at the end of the day. The pool and hot tub were a nice addition. Laundry was really fairly priced. The cafe had great breakfast and you must get a Whoopie pie from the candy store! This spot is in a park but there are other RVs. Everyone was nice and friendly. Would go back!

J & T Hideaway / Silver Springs, FL was a clean, well appointed site, only a short drive from Silver Springs. The pool was nearby and open until 10pm and the Bath House had AC and clean hot showers. Tina was a welcoming and attentive host and we recommend this site to anyone visiting the area.

It’s pretty basic space without a lot of amenities (yet), but we know you’d love it here. A few things you can expect… ~Wherever you decide to set up camp, we will provide a picnic table, trash can and fire pit with wood. ~We are super pet friendly so bring your furry family members and we will ensure they’re safe and comfortable as well. ~There is access to water from the main house. ~ Electricity can be provided depending on how close you set up to the house. WiFi as well. ~ We do have a chicken coop so you can expect to hear them throughout the day. ~ We are on a dead end road in a rural residential area. Super quiet! ~ Pit potty in a super cute Outhouse. ~ If you stay during the month of March, you will adore our lightening bugs! ~ Tons of mature trees so bring your hammocks. ~ We are on site and available to you when needed. Our farm is off the beaten path surrounded by mossy oaks and lots of shade. If you are having a rough week, load up and relax on our working farm filled with miniature horses and numerous other adorable miniature animals that will be sure to put a smile on your face. Pack your camping gear, tents, vans or RVs and find peace away from the traffic and everyday stress. There is plenty of nature and you can take a long stroll to clear your head. Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. You will be able to tour a growing permaculture food forest. JAI Jungle is named after the 5 year old who lives here and loves guests to play on the trampoline or swim in our tiny pool with him. We have trails to explore and you can see the stars and hear old almost every night. We have over 10 swimming holes within the hour including 6 springs: Salt, Juniper, Alexander, Silver Glen, Rainbow, Kelly Rock, and 4 lake fed beaches: Carney Island, Hampton Beach, Mill Dam, Gator Joes (with food and sometimes music). You can also take an OGFit class while you are here: 10 minutes of world class Calisthenics. Breathe control and guided meditations also available. We have water available and an outdoor shower. We have plenty of room yet no electrical hookups and usually do not have very large rvs. Campfires (burn wood only- no plastic) and music with respect to being a bit more quiet when its dark. Please keep dogs on a lease and clean up after them. Please remove all garbage. Thank you. We also have a 16’ Canvas Tent available for an extra fee (77 total) or a 3 person 2 door tent for 40$ total, or a small pop up tent for 35$ total.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

It’s a great place for safely biking or walking with green spaces, tennis courts, playgrounds and dog parks nearby. There are many owls, raptors, green parrots, purple martins and osprey overhead as we’re just a few blocks from the beautiful Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. - not to be missed! Welcome to Smokey Acres! This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there. Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch. Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees. Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando. A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing! Red Mombin, and thousands of banana plants. Fishing can be great, wildlife and bird watching too. Fenced and gated for safety, this old historic nursery property has good vibes and plenty to offer. Until you see it - you really may not understand. Parts of property are wide open, other areas are rugged and difficult to walk through including some wetland areas. The Roots ReTREEt is situated on 4.5 acres tucked away in Old Florida of Volusia County. The name comes from the roots that stretch throughout the property with the TREEs providing a sanctuary for all who come to rest. Our little piece of paradise has so much serenity with a fully wooded landscape while its only miles from fun things to do: surfing, biking, hiking, boating, fishing, paddling, swimming and more! If you're lucky enough to experience the wildlife that shows up regularly, you could have the pleasure of seeing wild animals like: turkeys, deer, pigs, armadillos, hawks, dragonflies, butterflies, turtles and many others. We're proud of our oasis and thrilled to share it with folks that appreciate protected land as much as we do. The land is part of the resource corridor, which is protected wetlands and it is environmentally sensitive and ecologically significant. This means that it is an ecosystem that supports the wildlife and cannot be touched or manipulated in any way. Lucy's place is our community space for you and your family's use. It has lots of seating, plenty of places to relax, a grill and outdoor sink for cooking, and a gas fireplace to enjoy the scenery at night. A hot tub awaits you, which is open to the stars and great after a day of lounging or fun out and about. We are close to everything but far enough for you to relax after a fun day of exploring. Daytona Speedway is a 30 min. drive. You can be on the beach in 20 min. or putting your boat/jet skis in the river in 15 min. We'd be honored to share what we consider to be heaven on earth with you. :-)
