Great open land with nice clusters of trees for cooling shade. Owner does an excellent job in providing a bin of some essentials along with a very detailed and organized binder that explains everything you need to know to ensure the best experience possible. All the rules are clear so there’s little left but to relax and enjoy the property. They provide all kinds of add ons including access to a very nice gym. Restrooms and showers were some of the nicest hip camp amenities Ive seen, all cooled by brand new air-conditioners. Cold and hot filtered bottle water is provided to refill your camp supply. We saw several gopher turtles and the bird watching was incredible with 11 different varieties in one evening. We would definitely go back and visit again.

Weekend Trip to Quail Run Ranch

A beautiful property in some piney, scrub habitat. The campsite was quiet at night and very close to Shell Mound. The view of the sky was great! The only downside were the unrelenting No-see-ums in the evening hours.

My experience on this property was really fantastic. I was looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of a much bigger city and Lynn and David’s place was absolutely perfect. I felt incredibly safe and was certainly delighted by the hosts’ thoughtfulness and also the beautiful piece of property I got to stay on. I especially appreciated the path around their little farm. I hope to be a return guest one day.

Good experience for a rustic camp spot. Arcadio's land is quite and the camp spots in the back were secluded enough but still close to the house if we needed anything. Arcadio is very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to camp for a few days, and don't mind "roughing it", then give it a try! Oh...also the location worked for us to go to Rainbow Springs (15 mins) and Crystal River (30).

One of the best hipcamps we have been to. Really nice property where we saw all sorts of wildlife, including tortoises! Great location to all the surrounding springs. Weeki wachee, Three Sisters, Rainbow, the Chazz, Homosassa, and Silver springs are all just a short distance. We will definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to End of the Rainbow Resort

This spot was so special! We were able to camp right on the water where the 2 rivers come together and it was so peaceful and private. Primitive with Porta John’s was just fine with us. It was great to enjoy the rivers and paddle back to camp. The wildlife and people/boat watching was great too. Host Donald was very kind and welcoming as well. Worth every penny, we will be back!

On the weekends- Food, music and good time at the lodge/biker bar lol..Pure country living with full hook ups in a great place. . RV Living at the best 👌 👍 😍 🥰by the way these pictures are us walking through this amazing place that Frank did a lot of the work.. Biker bar, delicious food cooked by another biker to music to quiet times during the week. Never have we met such nice folks, old hippies having a blast.. Frank is a great host and Hewy helping & answering every question I had and I had plenty lol..Very unique experience.. we love it

Weekend Trip to Monarch Manor Farm

Monarch Manor Farm is really a gorgeous place to camp. Site 1 and also other sites are more than spacious and the view is beautiful. Host Ricki is very nice: provided clear instructions, showed us around, let us use his boat on the pond, and even shared his delicious food with us. The site is equipped with everything we need including picnic table, trash bin (at every site), hot shower, toilet, electricity, and even wifi (video streaming with no issue). My wife and I really enjoy spending our time roaming around. Also, Monarch Manor Farm is very close to many great places worth visiting. Would definitely recommend to every camper with different camping rigs! P.S. the free range eggs are so fresh and tastes great :-)

Monarch Manor Farm

Monarch Manor Farm is not a stack and pack camper on top of camper place. It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. Pets, kids and even grandparents are welcome. The property has 40 fenced acres, private, secure and a safe place campers can enjoy. RV's, Campers, Tents, Class A, B, C, Campervans, Class B Plus, Super C, fifth wheelers, Toy haulers, Travel trailers, pop-up campers and conversions, welcomed. Although the property can accommodate more than 50 sites, Rick keeps it at only 3 spacious sites around his organic spring fed pond stocked with Tilapia, Largemouth bass, Red ear and Bluegill. Those who enjoy catch and release or catch and eat are welcome. There is also an abundance of blackberries and elderberries you are welcomed to pick which usually begins mid May. Guests can also enjoy many different types of wildlife, birds, chickens and even Black Angus cows meandering around. Monarch Manor Farm is also an official Monarch Butterfly weigh station and safe respite for migrating butterflies. These beautiful pollinators have been on Earth about 175 million years from what we can gather from fossils. Beyond the splendor that would be lost from the world if monarch butterflies went extinct, there would be ripple effects in the environment. Monarchs share their habitat with many other species of insects and birds. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers. So when you stay here you are also making a contribution that provides a safe chemical free environment for these super pollinators to multiply once again. All three sites are right around the pond with great views. A combination of large live oaks, shade and sun All sites also have a picnic table, fire ring and grill. Site 1 has your choice of 110 and 30amp power. There is no power at site 2, 2A or 3. The bath house is equipped with 2 showers. One shower is heated by geothermal means and the other by a tankless hot water heater for evening showers. There is a foot pedal hand sink, portable-potty, and seating. All water is filtered and drinkable. There is a fish cleaning station equipped with a garden hose. There is a dump station available 1.5 miles down the road at Pruitt trailhead, which also has beautiful hiking trails available. We are 15 minutes away from Blue Run Park, and Rainbow river campground and state park is 20 minutes away. Kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming are popular here bring your own equipment or rent. Withalacoochee river is also located nearby. N. Florida boat ramp is a public boat ramp located in downtown Dunnellon for fisherman wanting to fish the river. For Horse lovers the property is located 15 minutes from The World Equestrian Center along with many other horse lovers events and equestrian activities are located all around. Check events schedule and listings before traveling. Horse riding trail ride excursions can also be booked nearby. No need to back in as there is plenty of room to drive right in. Guests will have complete freedom to enjoy the beautiful property without having to share space with other RVs.

Welcome to your own, private campsite in the heart of Weeki Wachee surrounded by the wildlife management area, various state parks and fresh water springs! Our well-maintained campsite is a big, open area with full sun, surrounded by trees which give you plenty of shade if preferred. It is quiet and dark enough for you to hear the wildlife at night! The primitive backyard campsite rural, secluded and easy accessible, the spot is 20 feet wide so you’ll have enough space for your motorhome to pull in. We, the owners, will be your neighbors (on the same property) so we can assist you with your needs. Right now what we have available is a 20 amp extension cord and a water hose. You can also run your generator. THINGS TO DO The wildlife management area is a one minute walk from the campsite with the buford and eagle nest springs inside. There is also a distillery (NJoy Spirit) on site. Seven Sisters springs are a ten minute car ride away. You can rent a kayak or a canoe to go out and see dolphins, turtles, alligators, manatees, snakes, deer, various birds or even bears. Other springs in the area are Hunters Springs, Rogers Park and Three Sisters springs. Crystal River is a charming, historical town 25 minutes north. You’ll pass Homosassa and their State Park (the oldest Hippo Lu (65) lives here). At the waterfront restaurant ‘Crumps’ you can watch monkeys on an island! Dames Cave in Lecanto is about 17 minutes from here with multiple caves to explore. The famous Weeki Wachee Springs State park is a 15 minute drive south highway 19. Howard’s Flea Market is the largest in Citrus County, 10 minutes north from the camp site. ‚Adventure Flg X’ is a fun Zip Line park in Brooksville. Rainbow River Springs is an hour north from Twin Pines. The park has beautiful scenic trails and a water temperature of 72 degrees year round which invites you to explore the river in a tube or kayak. The Weeki Wachee preserve is another beautiful, close spot worth visiting. Disney World, Legoland and Universal Studios are within two hours. St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa and Tarpon Springs are must-see cities! Beaches: Pine Island, Fort Island, Sunwest Park Beach. Further away: Madeira Beach, Honeymoon Island & Fort DeSoto. Make sure the beaches are open!
