Welcome to our little homestead. Nestled amidst the serene countryside, this quaint campground offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. We just finished (well 2 years ago) traveling the country in an RV with five of our 7 kids (oldest two were in college) and we had a terrible time finding places to stay in Saint Augustine when we came home to visit. Betsy’s quiet drift pad was a great place to stay. She and Ryan were very friendly and I was able to accompany them while walking their awesome dogs on the beach. Great space to enjoy a quiet setting with a beautiful walk to the beach. Bathroom and sink available along with power. Definitely recommend Betsy’s place. 5 out of 5 stars!

We had the best time tent camping at Jewel’s Sink. There was a drought causing low water levels and we had overcast skies during our stay, but despite having subpar weather conditions the sink was still turquoise blue and stunning! The surrounding land the sink sits on is open and gorgeous as well. We woke up to deer in the field which was an extra treat! The owner was very kind and responsive. Already planning my next trip back!!

Loved the river access along with the amenities and animals on property. It did not bother us but there was 4 wheelers in the morning but we aren’t camping to sleep in we are camping to have fun and explore!

The tent camping was peaceful, and the site was comfortable. There was plenty of shade, and, to our surprise & delight, our site had strings of solar lights that helped us see but did not take much away from the natural ambience. The lights were far enough apart that we still enjoyed our view of the night sky.
April, the host, was hellpful, as was her husband Jerry. Chris & Kendall Campion, the owners, swung by one day to check everything out. They were very hospitable and made us feel welcome.
The shower was hot, and the facilities were basic but did the job as described.
The farm animals were an added treat that enhanced both the sights and sounds of the experience.
We didn't take advantage of the play areas this time, but we plan to return this Spring with our kids & Grandkids for a relaxing time away for our whole family.

The animals were a pleasure to be around and our girls were with animals or riding their bikes from sunrise to sundown. April was so kind and let the girls help feed the animals! I loved the horse, pigs, chickens and dogs. Love that it is pet friendly. Nice sunrises and sunsets very private and nice. The only problem is the length of our camper and getting into your spaces. Only improved needed is the driveway needs to be cleaned up so you able to see better getting in and out.

I’ve absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Venus campsite. Jen’s a phenomenal host, very friendly, and willing to give you any suggestions for places around here. I loved it so much that I booked a couple extra days.. so very peaceful and the stars at night are absolutely amazing. Both my dog and I very much enjoyed the animals, especially Hickory the horse.! I highly recommend coming and Camping at Jen’s Homestead 😊
