1 night at Runaway Bay Lodge

Our experience here was more than we asked for. My partner and I enjoyed a day here during our birthday weekend and they really made it extra special for us. They even surprised us with a b-day desert. The chef that made the vegan burger is an excellent cook and the secluded yurt was lovely. We really enjoyed the opportunity to paint a memory on the walls of their abode as there were many other visitors that also left their memory. The tiki bar was chill and they have a lovely pool table and hot tub. It’s a very romantic place and it would be a great place to get away.

Weekend Trip to Beach Glamping

The rv was just a brisk walk away from the beach access. It was absolutely lovely and the host was very accommodating and responsive. For all you fishermen out there, there is a boat launch just a quick walk from the rv and I caught allot of catfish right in that spot at night. It was a great experience and the rv was as in the pictures.

Weekend Trip to Bowman's Landing

We had a great time at Bowman's Landing. The little cabins are very clean and the AC worked great. Beds were comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were clean. They had bicycles we could borrow to use around the property. The whole area is well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back!

My 2nd stay at Bowman's, but first time with my 11 year old. It was amazing trip. Manatees swimming by the dock, the chickens grazing each morning, and the deer family at sunrise and sunset. I love this place even more than I did the first time I left.

Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

Incredible time out here, we stayed in Dreamcatcher and hope to be back as soon as possible. Hosts were very personable and kind, each camper had its own fire ring and A/C unit. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Free eggs for the gathering, just make sure they have been candled! Friendly farm cat and free range chickens. The hosts even provided bug spray!

Absolutely in love with this place and the atmosphere this place holds. We had originally planned on staying just one night, but our experience was so well, we had to extend our stay another night. I stayed here with my children for Mother's Day Weekend. We were delighted to find out that it's on an island! Very close to the beach and state parks. They are in the middle of building a new platform to put the dome on. I was a little sad we had the view of a half-finished construction project, but for future visitors that will be an amazing upgrade. DON'T SKIP THE BUG SPRAY!!

The space River Rise Cottage is set up to offer a relaxing and enjoyable experience to make lasting memories. The cottage has large windows with outstanding river views and a walk around deck that you can fish from. Should it rain, you can enjoy the sound of the rain on the metal roof. Several feet from the cottage is a screened porch overlooking the scenic river, with plenty of comfortable seating and a daybed... should you want to nap. From this location It's not uncommon to see wildlife. A wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening bug free. Take a swing on the open porch, sit riverside at either our propane fire pit or have a campfire (firewood provided) which is also along the river nestled in the woods. We encourage guests to use the outdoor seating areas for the ultimate relaxation experience and to find your favorite spot! Bar-B-Q with our easy-to-use propane grill (utensils and grill pans provided). Our fish station makes cleaning your catch a breeze! Also available a full-size fridge located on the screened porch in addition to the mini fridge in the cottage. Guest access Large open deck with ladder access to the floating dock which is perfect for mooring your boat or launching kayaks. Kayaks are available for guest use. You are able to access the best of both worlds here including Crab Island, the fresh water springs and the big river. The home features a private concrete boat launch, dock, and boat lift in the brackish water canal behind the home for your boat. Enjoy accessing the home for your stay by water or land. Our favorite way to access is by boat- launching at the West Bay bridge in Panama City and running down the intracoastal waterway into the bay. When accessing our property by vehicle, be prepared to drive 17 miles off of highway 79 with a 4 mile portion of that being a dirt road. We can not guarantee the condition of the dirt road portion of your drive for your stay, however the dirt road is graded weekly. Enjoy the seclusion of this area while still being in close proximity to Panama City Beach and 30A. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is where you can find the nearest grocery stores, shopping and restaurants in a 35-40 min drive from the home. Once you are here, its likely you will want to stay and not leave though so bring plenty of good meals to cook and enjoy!
