Weekend Trip to Surfer Beach And Tree Sanctuary

Had an amazing and relaxing weekend. The campsite itself was very private, and the proximity to the “private-ish” beach was the best part. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was the perfect private getaway. The only downside was that the mini fridge at our site wasn’t working, so we had to rely on our cooler. Aside from that small issue, it was a 10/10 experience. We’ll definitely be back for the peace and quiet.

What an amazing experience. Hesitant to leave a review because this place is going to stay booked and I want to come back often! Best host ever, a frame was cozy and relaxed, great stargazing and fun for my 5 year olds first of camping experiences. We did kayaks, jumped on the trampoline, roasted marshmallows hot dogs and told campfire stories. Also had some great conversations with the host, great human.

We stayed in cottage, it was very sweet and cozy. The hosts live onsite and were very kind and welcoming to us and our pup. Very dog friendly! We were provided with all the small comforts and amenities you’d find at any fine hotel, plus some sweet personal touches like a fire pit and access to an outdoor shower and fresh eggs from the chickens. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We loved our stay at Ellen’s yoga yurt! It was better than I even could have expected, and was such the perfect little spiritual retreat. We opted to add on the Kundalini Yoga and Sound Bath experiences and are SO happy that we did. These are the kind of experiences you usually have to travel out of the country for. I truly loved the design and the decorations, and especially all of the sound bowls and instruments I got to play with while I was there. The gong and the rain stick were a few of my favorites. This was an amazing little gem! The owners were amazing! They greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around the property! They checked in on us throughout our stay and provided some extra firewood as we needed it! There were chickens running around and we were able to have fresh eggs in the mornings! We were able to set up a tent to accommodate some extra guests and we brought our pup who loved the property! We made some incredible meals and the camper has all the cookware, dinnerware, and seasonings you need! They also left us stuff to make s’mores! We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the bathroom was surprisingly clean! We will definitely be back and we would definitely recommend!
