We have it all here at Seminole Springs. We are open for tent camping.First come, First serve.
We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. Each unit comes equipped with its own hot tub. (To book any of these units, just send us a message and we will reserve it for you. The prices for these units are different than that campsite and glamping site prices.)
The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. The price is different than the campsites but we will go over that with you)

Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance.
We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.
We allow campfires.
The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

History of our location Count De Galvez awarded a land grant on Garcon Point to Antonio Garzon following his 1781 Siege of Pensacola in consideration of “his good services rendered as an interpreter to the Indians of Pensacola." The grant was held for 35 years before Maria Garzon, who survived husband Antonio, sold the land they called Garzon’s Point to Joseph (Jose) Bonifay.
The land uses were favorable for cattle grazing and turpentining through the 1800s. Many more pioneer families moved into the area and began their own business in the booming industrial opportunities of western Florida. It came to be known as Yellow River Marsh State Buffer Preserve on June 12, 2000, when it was purchased by the state of Florida to protect rare and environmentally sensitive lands, plants and animals.
Through generous donations, Preservation 2000 and the Florida Forever Program, more land was added to protect contiguous habitat of the Garcon Ecosystem.
Today Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park provides recreational opportunities for hiking and nature study along the Great Florida Birding Trail among rare and endemic plant species and within one of Florida’s oldest multi-cultural frontiers.The preserve is located in Santa Rosa County on Garcon Point, which separates Escambia Bay from Blackwater Bay.
Nearly 20 rare and endangered species of plants 🪴 and animals make their homes along the bay and its wet prairies, dome swamps and flatwoods.

Walk the 25 acres amongst some of the oldest pine trees in Northwest Florida. Take the diameter of a pine tree and multiply by 5 and that tells you the approximate age. Given that some of these trees are between 3 and 5 feet wide, know that when they were saplings, Thomas Edison invented his light bulb, Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address, and some are old enough to have been there when Jefferson penned the draft of the Declaration of Independence.
Beyond the campsite, you can explore the nearby white sand beaches. See the natural springs of Ponce DeLeon, less than 15 minutes away. Or do other activities like swimming, fishing, and hiking.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. These are beautiful comfortable rooms with half baths in the rooms. The showers are located in the lodge bathhouse. WE have the Jungle themed room, the Equestrian themed room and the Honeymoon Suite. The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Very secluded and private overlooking the spring on one side and the water fall on the other. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. The price is different than the campsites but we will go over that with you)

Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance.
We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.
We allow campfires.
The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

History of our location Count De Galvez awarded a land grant on Garcon Point to Antonio Garzon following his 1781 Siege of Pensacola in consideration of “his good services rendered as an interpreter to the Indians of Pensacola." The grant was held for 35 years before Maria Garzon, who survived husband Antonio, sold the land they called Garzon’s Point to Joseph (Jose) Bonifay.
The land uses were favorable for cattle grazing and turpentining through the 1800s. Many more pioneer families moved into the area and began their own business in the booming industrial opportunities of western Florida. It came to be known as Yellow River Marsh State Buffer Preserve on June 12, 2000, when it was purchased by the state of Florida to protect rare and environmentally sensitive lands, plants and animals.
Through generous donations, Preservation 2000 and the Florida Forever Program, more land was added to protect contiguous habitat of the Garcon Ecosystem.
Today Yellow River Marsh Preserve State Park provides recreational opportunities for hiking and nature study along the Great Florida Birding Trail among rare and endemic plant species and within one of Florida’s oldest multi-cultural frontiers.The preserve is located in Santa Rosa County on Garcon Point, which separates Escambia Bay from Blackwater Bay.
Nearly 20 rare and endangered species of plants 🪴 and animals make their homes along the bay and its wet prairies, dome swamps and flatwoods.

Walk the 25 acres amongst some of the oldest pine trees in Northwest Florida. Take the diameter of a pine tree and multiply by 5 and that tells you the approximate age. Given that some of these trees are between 3 and 5 feet wide, know that when they were saplings, Thomas Edison invented his light bulb, Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address, and some are old enough to have been there when Jefferson penned the draft of the Declaration of Independence.
Beyond the campsite, you can explore the nearby white sand beaches. See the natural springs of Ponce DeLeon, less than 15 minutes away. Or do other activities like swimming, fishing, and hiking.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Weekend Trip to Glamping In Paradise
We had the most amazing weekend! The entire set up was breathtaking and very romantic! The gardens and plants were beautiful and my absolute favorite part along with the outdoor shower because long hot showers were wanted at the end of our day.
We spent the full day Saturday with rented e-bikes tours Florida Caverns State Park and sightseeing the caverns.
Very impressed the hosts thought of everything we could have possibly needed and left nothing to run and get, we will definitely book again!

Weekend Trip to Camp Seminole Springs
The glamping looked same as the pictures mentioned in here. The glamping that I booked had 4 beds, 2 chairs, one night lamp, one heater, 4 power outlets, small barbecue, private attached bath (toilet, shower, sink, mirror, only cold water, shower was slightly broken but didn’t stop me from bathing, may be we could ask them if they have an extra shared bathroom). A wooden outdoor table for 4 or 6 people. A campfire arrangement. They will provide woods, you may ask them for lighting them. I brought my own matchbox and all. The glamping I stayed had a beautiful pond or spring view. They had boat, kayaks you can use them. I don’t know if we can borrow from them for outside activities.
Site was clean and fresh. I had privacy. I stayed safe there.
You got to ask for wifi and password.
Bring your own bedsheets, pillows, etc.,
I would recommend this to my friends and family. I would book this site again for my future trips.

The host is kind and does whatever he can to meet your needs with a smile on his face. The grounds are beautiful and each lot is spacious! State parks put one RV on top of the other! Here, you feel alone! The free roaming horses and bulls love to visit and are fun to have around. My dogs have so much space to run on or off leash! This is my favorite place to date! We have become regulars there! Peaceful place.

Weekend Trip to Happy Campers Rescue Ranch
We had such a great stay! Me and my husband had a lot of fun. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. Everything was clean and well taken care of. They also gave us great recommendations for fishing and nearby springs, which we really appreciated.
We would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again!

Amazing! It was a hit with the kids and the adults with plans to come back next year. The horses are beautiful and friendly and really do come greet you (and beg for food) at your campsite. The camper was exactly what we needed but the outdoor showers and flush toilets and mini kitchen were great so we used those. Lots of open space to play. Thanks so much for having us!

We loved our stay in the yurt! It was so cozy and had everything we needed from first aid kit, to snacks, and fire wood. Our dogs probably has the best time of all of us exploring the property and finding the creek. We rented a canoe and floated the river 30 minutes away (Cypress Springs) which I strongly recommend! Dollar general and the local market was just a 2 minute drive for any necessities but the campsite is tucked off away from the road.

Cassandra and Walt were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful set of land that is well maintained for their guests. I stayed in the cabin, which was perfectly curated for a home-y, country feel. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you may need in the kitchen and bathroom, which made packing a breeze! There was a grill, table & chairs, and a fire pit on the outside of the cabin which made a great evening hangout spot. (Firewood provided) They have chickens which you’re welcome to grab eggs from, and a couple adorable kitties running around to try and make friends with. My favorite part of my stay here is how dog friendly they are! I brought my border collie and he had the BEST time being able to roam around and smell things, and the cabin was perfect to leave him in while I was at the local springs kayaking. The property also has several camper and tent sites, which is great to have options but even better that I was able to have several friends book on the same property! I highly recommend this Hipcamp and will definitely be back!

We had the chance to stay at the A-frame Cabin which has all you need, including it's own bathroom and shower. The campgrounds are secluded but not so much that, if you need to go into the city it will only take you about 15-20 mins to get to the grocery stores. There are great restaurants in downtown Punta Gorda. John & Patty are great hosts and they are very welcoming of pets, which is very important to us. We will definitely be staying again.

My two children (4yo and 7yo) and I spent three nights at the cottage and we are already thinking when we could go back!!! March weather was fantastic and the property was perfect for us so we had no need to explore anywhere else. The cottage itself had everything I/we needed (in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom) so my stay was stress free. When we first entered, there was music playing inside so it felt like we just returned home from running errands. The dried lavender in the bedroom was also a very nice little detail.
The owners were super friendly and accommodating. My kids connected with their granddaughter and were playing outside all day long. They were allowed to pick fresh eggs from the chicken coop, run around freely and just be kids which I really appreciate. I walked around barefoot, cooked on the grill, we ate outside, we made fire at night and in the mornings I drank coffee on the steps watching butterflies and listening to birds chirping. I feel recharged, kids have new memories and we cannot wait to visit again. Our new happy place - Thank you!
